@lulu1180 Oh man. Good read. Thanks for that. My favorite part is she posted in the overweight thread that her BMI was 32, and then posted that bump pic.

Whenever I’m in the TWW, I feel like it’s my
obligation to consume more food than I normally would. My thought
process goes,
“If I don’t eat enough, then my body will think I’m undernourished and
therefore be unable to support a pregnancy. I must eat my bruschetta
(and subsequently all bruschetta within a ten-foot range) so
that my cavewoman brain will know that I can support a tiny human.” My
life has turned into: Eat bruschetta until pants explode. Repeat until
CD1.

I agree that post is great! Although not quite as good as the great catfish reveal from 2014. I'll have to see if I can find it for those that haven't seen it before.

@LJMoon6 I have since it is not that far from me. This story is crazy and creepy. I am still trying to understand why he wanted to kidnap someone so bad. From what I understand, he's been looking for his victim for a while. I get the vibe that he felt like a loser because everything he tried since graduating HS didn't work out, and kidnapping someone and having total control over them gave him a sense of accomplishment. Some sort of toxic masculinity.

@rikiteacup It's just so crazy that he saw her for a matter of maybe 5 seconds getting onto her bus and in those 5 seconds he decided he was going to take her. It's so messed up! He was definitely looking for control. My coworker told me the other day that he went to this guys HS graduation party... Completely random! He went to his nieces graduation and since the graduating class was only 20 people, everyone knows everyone. They ended up being invited over after the ceremony. Small world!

So I've been mostly off refined sugar (and most gluten) since August. I don't eat any/many baked goods, I will only use a tiny bit of stevia in my tea if I need it and any time I need sugar in a marinade or recipe I've been using coconut sugar. But we got this huge jar (like bigger than my head) of my favourite kind of shortbread cookies from one of our wholesalers for Christmas and I eat one a day. Just one. I feel so guilty for doing it but OMG is it ever good.

Following a discussion from the September 19 TTGP grad check in thread, would anybody object if we changed the weekly TTGP grad thread here? It's been suggested that the length of participation on this board is more important than being past 1/1 or 2/2 cycles. The proposed change would be for "those who have participated meaningfully for greater than X months." would that be a problem for anybody? What should X be? 2? 3?
@jennifer_louise I would be down for that and my vote would be 3. I figure in that time, if they’re participating in the dailies, they’ve probably overlapped with just about everyone at that point?
3 months feels like the right length of time to me!
