Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
I am a first time mom, and completely new to these community boards to bear with me! I am currently 15w 5d and our EDD is May 9th, 2019. We went through infertility treatment for that past 5 years including medications, IUI's, and IVF rounds. To be at this point is very exciting and still very nerve racking at the same time! Its nice to be able to reach out to others to learn tips and get advice on all this!
I am a FTM, full-time optometrist and currently 14 weeks! We have been in the is-this-real phase for awhile, but have begun telling family this week! I have a completely irregular cycle when not on birth control (went 6-8 months with no period before). My OBGYN mentioned trying ovulation tests when I get off the pill to increase my odds of getting my cycle figured out and that worked for us.
Two of my good girlfriends have had babies in the last 8 weeks, so I am getting lots of practice/advice. This group has also been super helpful , though I haven't posted much yet. Looking forward to sharing this journey with you all!
I'm 14 weeks, due May 22, 2019 with our first.
I can't say I've had the most spectacular pregnancy so far, but any one of my 99 problems could certainly be worse, so I'm holding onto optimism that I'm still suffering less than others.
I have to say the best thing is how amazing my hubby has been. His attentiveness is just the perfect amount (I don't like being doted on but the extra little things he's doing now really stands out) and we have this new sense of feeling even more bonded. It's impossible to describe but im sure other moms have had this too. I keep telling him to remember this when I'm as big as a house and crank!
I'm 17 weeks, due May 2, FTM from Ontario, Canada. DH and I are super excited and this baby just seems meant to be at this time in our lives. I work in retail and have a side calligraphy business where most of my business comes from the bridal industry. My family and friends know about baby but I haven't announced to the world yet and wanted to wait until we find out the gender Mid December. My best friend is also pregnant, 3 weeks ahead of me, and it's nice that we get to share this change together.
I have been pretty lucky so far with regards to symptoms and if I start to get worried, I say my positive pregnancy affirmations to myself. Corny, I know...but it works! Excited to be here with everyone!!
DD1: June 2014 - VBM4lyfe
DD2: October 2016
DC3: coming May 2019
I'm a nuclear engineer, originally from Pittsburgh, PA but living in Augusta, GA now for work. I've had awfulll morning sickness and have actually lost weight through my first trimester, but I think it's finally starting to turn around - still throwing up a few times a day but in between, I have more of an appetite. Hoping for an easy 2nd trimester for all of us!!!
I am Barbara, age 30, and I live in Florida. I am 14 weeks and 5 days into my very first pregnancy. Hubby and I are super excited, and honestly I'm still getting used to this whole Mommy-to-be thing lol. I don't really feel pregnant yet as I had no symptoms, still don't. I just realized I was late one day, which never happens. So I tested, and here we are a couple months later! I'm also diabetic, so I've been stressing about that a bit and super meal planning, but so far my little nugget is doing great, yay! I'm not the most patient of people, so this pregnancy is testing me for sure. I want to meet my little angel already so bad! My due date is May 24th, seems like eons away ugh. I love this board idea btw and had no clue it even existed until about a week ago, after a friend of mine who recently had a baby mentioned it. I look forward to bonding with you as we journey together! I wish for happy smooth healthy pregnancies and babies for us all! Blessings to you!
I am 15w1d (Due date May 23, 2019). I am 31 and a FTM though we have been trying for 5 years for our first **TW** i have had 5 miscarriages within the last 2 years through IVF. We are unexplained infertility though i also have PCOS. This baby has almost the same due date as our first pregnancy end TW**
I originally from Oklahoma but am currently living outside of Philadelphia (DH’s hometown). I am hoping to move back home within the next 5-7 years. This seems like a great group, i cant wait to get to know everyone.
Thanks. Looking forward to connecting with all of you
Due date is May 24. Second time mama.
Currently have a baby girl and another on the way!
I'm from Maryland.
With my first pregnancy I was high risk as my daughter may have had a heart condition and I had heavy bleeding that resulted in many pad changes. Currently going through the same thing.
I’ve mainly been lurking rather than participating but plan to post more soon. 😁
Anyway, my name is Tosha, I'm from St Louis Missouri, have one 7 year old daughter, and am currently 18 weeks pregnant with di/di twins.
I have PCOS, MTHFR mutation, and endometriosis so it took us a bit to get pregnant with these little ones. So far so good
