I'm really sick of the attitude I'm getting from one of my twins lately. He yells at me and gets smart with me anytime I tell him no, or basically anything he doesn't like. And he's said a few things that have been hurtful. I already grounded him from basketball practice once this week and next will be missing an entire week. I'm currently sitting at work feeling miserable because we went at it again this morning. God help me when he's actually a teenager and not just 9.
@bellebaby221- That blows. How’s this for suck: my precious two year old basically denied I was his mom at pickup on Tuesday because he wanted to keep playing with trains. I say hi. His playmate and teacher (who I know of course) look up, and his playmate says, “[DS], your mommy is here.” My son looks up, looks me right in the eye, looks peeved because he is working his trains, looks down and says “that’s [playmate’s] mommy.” Knife meet heart.
@sjnsjnsjn Ouch! That's gotta sting. My youngest new favorite phrase when he gets mad at me is "I don't like this family." When did I get moody teenagers??
So hard to catch up! Since DD was born, I've been making photo books twice a year of her as presents for grandparents; Christmas, and mother's/father's day (and we keep a copy because let's be honest, if I didn't do this, DD would never have any albums or physical pictures of herself). I know there are templates that can automatically fill in the pictures for you but I'm such a control freak I have to personally design every page.
Anyways! So my free time now is being occupied by working on this year's album for Christmas, as well as getting in any sleep because TIRED.
Also, we've been working on getting DD's "big girl" room ready so her old room can be the nursery. We bought an area rug for it, and purchased a bedroom furniture set that will be delivered on Sunday. Closet is almost finished, just have to install the organizer and move all DD's things. Goal is to have her moved by Christmas, but hopefully before that. Shit's getting real!
@kayjay44 (and @hnbergeron and others) I so feel you about the puking/starving hell! But I'm not HG so I know you have it so much worse and I am SO. SORRY. You are a champ, and you got this! I can't wait until things finally get better for you, even if that's not until after birth, the end is still in sight

@hnbergeron I'm so sorry your OB is so pretentious. That's such crap! The worst is "well I managed to do it, so I won't help you at all" - there are SO many things wrong with that! I totally feel you about not wanting to make waves- doing so also increases anxiety, so you feel stuck. *Hugs*

@becks_726 - I'm not sure if they have the app available in Canada, but ChatBooks is AMAZING! I use it to make photo books from my phone otherwise we'd never have printed photos. I do them mostly for vacations so we have the memories printed out.
Can’t remember where I posted it, but that fear I had that my puppy is out of remission and gonna die? Oh that’s because she’s out of remission. Took her in today because I could just tell something was off and although it’s not full blown, we have enough to believe she is no longer in remission and our best option is to try a rescue protocol.
@megpants209 I'm so so sorry about your pup. You've had a really shitty month. I hope you have some really good days with her yet! All of the hugs and good vibes to you as you go through this.
I'm baaaack! Spent the last 6 days with tons of craziness: first two days, we had in-laws in town (staying with us, mind you). After that, we were in Alaska for H's job interview! I'm just now logging in, and I fear there's no way for me to catch up on everything. Though I am looking forward to reading through the Facebook thread! Anyway, H got the job offer for Alaska!!! You guys, he legit has a job after residency is done! I did not realize how much stress I was holding onto until he got the call today. Literally a huge sigh of relief. We loved the town and the practice, and we're both so excited. He's holding off on replying for a week or so, just so we can talk over everything and make sure we're 100% on board with a move like that. But man, I'm just so glad. Now, time for some Bump catchup! I missed you all!

We are currently experiencing health issues with my 13 year old cat for the last 3 weeks... I can't even discuss the money we've just spent. Baby's gonna have to be naked and better like breastfeeding. We finally brought her home tonight, tomorrow is a week from her surgery and I've just been traumatized for the last 3 hours watching her try to have a BM, collapse from exhaustion, and then try again all over 10 mins later to the point she laid on her blanket while her stomach contracting.. grunting and let out a cry... to top it off she then puked 30 mins later. Consulted with my reg vet.. and we're okay for now. but FML, im emotional enough about my animals without adding PG hormones. She seems to be resting comfortably for now after passing a tiny amount, tonights gonna be a long one. Im hoping we dont have to go to er tonight... having our first snowstorm this evening, ugh. iecing on the cake
@cass06_07 - they finally called back and basically told me if I’m dehydrated to call and they’ll call in fluids to be done at the cancer treatment center (where I do my IV iron) so not super helpful.
Aww @cass06_07 your poor kitty. I took my cat to the vet the other day too, she has a rapidly growing bump next to her ear. Turned out it's just a cyst, thank goodness. She's on the older side (somewhere between 10 and 15), so I'm scared of anything that could be something. It sucks that pets have such short lifespans.
