Starting this party early since my son came in at 3:45 saying he saw a “scary light”. He’s back asleep. DH is back asleep (and snoring. I’m going to murder him). I’m laying here wide freaking awake. Ugh.

    Just kidding. He’s not asleep. :o 

    Did I forget to mention that the dude didn’t nap yesterday AND went to bed almost 2 hours later than normal?! 

    He better make up for this by not waking up at the ass cracked tomorrow when DST kicks in.

    My youngest was up at 3:45 and he didn't go back to sleep. I just turned on peppa pig at 5:00 hoping I can at least grab a few more minutes but not likely.

    @bellebaby221 - I’m stalking the monitor and it looks like my guy may have finally caved and fallen back asleep. 

    But I’m now taking up residency on the couch with a too big cup of coffee and this week’s DVR’ed episode of Grey’s Anatomy.

    DST is the worst. Why does it need to exist?! Knock on wood for the first time ever DD has been waking up at 8.. so hopefully itll be 7 new time tomorrow but who are we kidding. Its partly because shes sick but still. Brutalllll.

    I came home from work this morning super exhausted after a busy shift including lots of heartburn and vomiting. I asked DH if he could take DD to soccer this morning because I was just wiped. He said no, he will have to be at work early. So I drag my ass getting DD awake and all ready. I collapse in the bed for a second while she is getting dressed. DH rolls over and asks if I got enough sleep yesterday. It just sounded like he was implying that I shouldn't be tired (as he is lounging in bed still himself) and I just snapped at him so he snapped back at me. That was fun. Then DD was in a mood at soccer and refused to participate half the time. I tried so hard to put on a happy face for her but I'm sure she picked up on some of my irritability, so cue the mom guilt.

    Done with being pregnant. It can be February now mmmkay

    Ugh DS was up pretty normal for him like 730 but I was exhausted because of tossing and turning all night so I tried to lay down while he watched tv but he was a maniac and in my face all morning lol getting a spa pedicure right now

    I guess as a FTM this is my last DST that I'll be a fan of, I love that extra hour of sleep.  DH on the other hand will probably be up at his regular 5 am (4am DST?), a big part of me is so glad he's a morning person (I'm definitely not) for when baby gets here and through childhood with early wake ups. 

    I'm considering a prenatal massage at the end of the month on my birthday. It's the big 3-0 and I took the day off from work before I even knew I was pregnant. I'll be 29 weeks, any thoughts or suggestions?

    @notthecheat ugh I’m sorry your husband was being so unsupportive. I don’t get how he can let you work all night, pregnant and puking and then not want to help you in anyway. Seems pretty selfish to me. Try not to feel guilty about not being 100% for your daughter, you’re doing pretty well considering everything! 

    @bellebaby221 that is too cute! 

    @ksdelong20 the answer to whether or not to get a massage is always yes! Prenatal ones are especially great for all your pregnancy aches and pains.

    I worry that one will not end well for Kentucky! 
    I'm switching between that game and Penn State-Michigan.

    @BourbonBiscuits you can tell I'm not a football fan when I lived in Kentucky for seven years and have now lived in Georgia for four years, yet had no idea that either team was playing today, let alone playing each other. :lol:

    Every time a commercial comes on he yells “OH NOOOOOO!!!!!” It’s SO cute.

    @BourbonBiscuits I live adjacent to the stadium. This game is a nightmare. Most recent ky touchdown is giving fans false hope and more time to drink.  Potential property damage no matter the outcome.

    Ugh @episcowitch I hate when people get like that after games. It’s almost worse with a loss I think, especially a loss like this. I’m so sorry! Fingers crossed for an uneventful night for you.

    Oh my gosh, are we starting to prep hospital bags already? This poor baby. I just can’t imagine doing anything baby related.

    Ive started my hospital bag but I may have to be hospitalized end of Nov until they perform a csection beginning to mid jan.. so I’m trying to prep myself.. mentally and physically. I’m also packing the babies bag so Dh doesnt have to/doesnt forget anything important.

    I still have my spreadsheet from packing my/DHs/DSs hospital bag when DS was born, so I’ll work off that list I’m sure. I do think with the holidays and everything that these babies will sneak up on us. DS is a February baby too and he totally snuck up on me! I’m not packing anytime soon, but I will probably start thinking about what I need to buy

    I thought about a hospital bag,..not sure what should I put in it. A thread would be awesome.

    I got domestic today and feeling proud. cooked pumpkin for the puppers and roasted the seeds. Good things do come from old jack-o-lanterns! I also detail cleaned the kitchen. I did take a nap today so that probably explains all the random energy.

    DS fell asleep on the couch for the first time ever last night. Just completely passed out. He’s a crib only sleeper so it was completely out of character. We soaked up tons of snuggles while we could. Hoping his sleepiness from sinus stuff, teeth coming in, and Halloween festivities work in our favor for DST tomorrow. I’m too exhausted to wake up super early!

    Guys...I really screwed up today.  So I usually get Brazilians but since being pregnant I’ve gotten lazy.  But with all the extra fluids and sweat in the lady parts area - I had to do some grooming today.  I used Nair - I wasn’t trying to like do a Brazilian I just want to clean up a lot of the area as much as I could using a mirror

    some of the Nair got where it shouldn’t have and I think I have a chemical burn  :s. Like on the inside of the labia - it burns every time I pee and being pregnant you know how often we pee.  Also hurts to wipe.  Water doesn’t help...anyway I won’t be doing that again

    We are currently in a wind storm and the power has been out since 9pm here. We of course went out and had my nephew babysitting DD. On our drive home we saw multiple sparking power lines with tree branches catching fire. It's nuts and I seriously hope the power comes back soon and we don't end up with more than a day of no electricity.  We live in a rural area and usually aren't the first to get restored. Luckily it's not the middle of winter yet and it's quite mild out.  Also I'm thankful for data plans and battery pack for phone battery.

    @danixbanani24- That sounds painful!  Hopefully it chills out soon.

    @Venessa88- My power used to go out ALL the time when I was a kid. Ugh.  Upside: flashlights and ghost stories??

    If you play your cards right, you can just steal enough from the hospital  ;) I ended up taking more of the gigantic pads than I needed. (And that was even after using some as a CS incision "bandage"). I bled for awhile (vaginally), but the super heavy bleeding only lasted like a week or so tops, after that I just used regular period pads.
