@KristoKekerooni wow! That’s a lot to take in. Can they tell matches from just your bloodwork?
@celticknotfire welcome although I’m sorry you have to be here. You should definitely stick up for yourself.
@lulu1180 ugh! I’m sorry the headaches are back! I hope your dr can give you a different protocol.
@zamora_spin I’ll join you on your countdown. In 19 days, I’ll have started and then taken my last progesterone!
@beachbunnyxo123they have me on progesterone for timing issues. I had told them that with my long cycles I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to do my FET before the end of the year. I have O’d anywhere from cd 20 to cd 28. I didn’t want to have to wait that long for the canceled cycle and then this cycle that I have to wait out. so they’re putting me on progesterone automatically on CD16 so I should get AF sooner
@Avrilmai Rooting for those two little embabies! Hopefully you get those results back soon and can get ready for your FET!
@Swiftlet Hope that your appointment goes well. As the ladies said, ask all the questions. And we are here to help wherever we can.
@whatsbumpinpumpkin I am so sorry that your results were not what you were wanting and that you had all the additional stress to deal with it on top of everything. Be kind to yourself! Good thoughts for your Nov 14th appointment with the specialist. South Africa is amazingly beautiful. But I would never live there again. Unfortunately the infrastructure and political situation has not improved over the years.
@purplg8r Thanks friend! So ready to get this going now. Love Rainbow Brite!
@KristoKekerooni So glad that you stopped in to give us an update, although as you said, it wasn't quite the news you were hoping for. But it definitely sounds like the RE that you are now connected with could be onto something that could give you answers and hopefully also your THB!
@celticknotfire I am so sorry to hear about your setback. It is really frustrating to do all the waiting and get ready to start something, to only be benched for something completely out of your control. But YH is right, this is not your fault and you should not put that pressure on yourself. FX that you are able to start soon and that you have good news on there not being a cyst.
@lulu1180 Oh man, so sorry that those headaches have come back. Here is hoping that they are able to give you something else instead to try and help avoid them. And that your body gives you some more clues as to what is going on soon! The Golden Girls would have been a riot! So good.
@kobrien827 I am extremely mixed on it really. I am nervous about it, however I feel like we have waited so long for this to start that I would not push it back for anything! Lets get it going already!!
@zamora_spin Thanks friend! Great news about your WBC and FX that the days fly by so you can get started on that FET!
@beachbunnyxo123 So ready! I have watched so many video's on injections and done so much research, just want to start now. Anxious about side effects and what the outcome will be. But know that I will be doing everything I can for success and the rest is out of my hands.
@emmasemm So sorry that your cycle was cancelled last minute like that and that you have those sacks clear all on their own. you are such a champ with it all. Will you do another round or move on to FET? FX for unicorn dust success!
@blackhottamales Yay! PUPO!!! Sending you all the positive vibes lady!
Hello to all my Murderinos! Currently listening to that and stranglers. Thank goodness for podcasts when your RE is 2 hours away!
@Avrilmai I was going to ask @jrm_14 but it says user not found. I may ask my RE when I go tomorrow! @emmasemm Sorry you had to cancel IVF. I hope everything gets resolved soon! @blackhottamales I'm glad your transfer went well! FX!
@nomangos23 I'm so sorry you are having a hard time. I can definitely empathize, i hope the last couple days have been better and you have something to look forward to this weekend.
@nitnat007 Yay for the stims starting today! For me at least it felt like i was doing something finally. Somedays it felt like egg retrieval would be so far away and then it was just there!
@inthewoods23 where are you going for the work trip?
@Avrilmai Thank you for all the great suggestions--i forgot about the good place, it was fun to catch up on that show! congrats on your 2 frozen embryos and fx for the pgs results--will you know in about 2 weeks?
@Swiftlet Welcome--as others have said we are sorry you are joining us but let us know if there are any questions. I've learned so much from people here, it's incredible.
@whatsbumpinpumpkin I'm so sorry you had to go through that. people are just so insensitive. I hope you the rest of your week is going much better.
@purplg8r OMG--i loved Rainbow Brite and i'm so jealous you got to dress up as her. Also funny regarding the bottle of nail polish.
@KristoKekerooni so wonderful you had a prepared RE who talked with you openly and gave you a plan to move forward.
@celticknotfire Welcome, sorry you are here, don't put this all on yourself. You should apologize for things you can't control. I don't think you're being unreasonable to say you don't want to do Clomid again. I hope you RE listens to you and you're able to fine a new protocol.
@lulu1180 I'm so sorry you're having horrible headaches, i really hope you've found something different.
@zamora_spin I hope these 16 more days going quickly and you other ailments are getting resolved. i laughed out loud when i read you were a princess fairy lamb--i would love to see a picture if you ever get it. Too cute.
@beachbunnyxo123 I was on Lupron from the 10/1 until 10/24, starting in the middle of the month i added estrogen patches and i'm up to 4 now. I started Endometrin suppositories on 10/24 and PIO ever other day. Then on Tuesday i added oral estrogen pills twice a day b/c my estrogen was low. Also i can't believe you responded on mobile--i just refuse, it's so hard! What's your protocol?
Thank you all for your positive thoughts over the past couple days! It's crazy--i'm officially 2dp6dt (i think that's how i write it...) so far i feel...nothing. just in the "TWW" MH is being surprisingly protective, he had to go out of town yesterday but he texted when he got to the hotel (which he never does because he travels so much it's not a big deal) He also called me this morning and was concerned when i said i was at a client's doing work. He said "are you allowed to?" It was cute--i told him i'm take it easy and go home this afternoon and take nap.
@blackhottamales I’ll be taking estrace, baby aspirin, prebiotics and probiotics, lovenox, vaginal probiotics, Benadryl, medrol, and PIO. Also GF and DF for the past 3 months. You wrote it correctly for 2dp6dt. Are you going to test or wait till beta?
@beachbunnyxo123 oh yes i forgot about the Medrol and Doxy...something & the baby asprin...I'm not testing. I think it would cause me to stress out too much. My clinic luckily does 9dpt betas so it's not a full 2 weeks. and now i only have 1 week left.
@blackhottamales I found out yesterday that I'm not going on the trip! Another coworker will be so I don't have to worry about when AF arrives and hoping timing works out.
I can't wait to get started even though a BFP next week would be nice too. I will keep dreaming until then.

I am prepping for a big trip at work next week ladies, so I apologize I have been disconnected, and will be for a few days. Not much happening on this end. @emmasemm I'm sorry you had to cancel your cycle. @inthewoods23 great news about your trip getting canceled (or someone else taking it!) Here's to hoping for a BFP next week though, right? Fingers crossed for you @blackhottamales ahh, so excited for you. The tww is hard hard hard though, so be extra kind to yourself. @lulu1180 One of the things I use to help headaches is I buy tiger balm and put it on the muscles around my head. When headaches last foreeeever I find my head and neck muscles bunch up. Maybe that will help.
I need to be more exacting on tracking, not just kinda winging it. My cycles used to be clockwork regular, now they are all over it would be important to nail down that information. I am still getting up a few times a night though - that can impact my temps? I need to read taking charge of your fertility again. Maybe I'll read it on the plane.
@whatsbumpinpumpkin Could you take your temp in the very early morning? I would take mine at 3:45a knowing I probably would not have to get up before then to pee. Just a thought!
Question ladies... I had my CD13 scan and have 2 follicles measuring at 16.6 and 14.6 and my RE is having me wait until Sat. to trigger with IUI on Monday. My follicles have always been mature at CD13, so I was wondering if this is normal?
@crookshanks10 ugh, I *so* prize the nights I get to sleep through. That is a good idea though, so if I am another couple cycles out with nothing... I'll save that for desperate times / desperate measures, and keep trying to get a normal temp. Maybe the keeping me up at night will end and I'll get to sleep through the night again someday soon and it won't be an issue. FX.
I have been so overcome with emotion because of all the amazing support. Why I waited so long to actual sign up and stop lurking I will never know but I am so glad I did. Throughout my life I have met some amazing people but very few come close to the strength you women have shown. Even though so many of us are at different points in our journey the ability to come together is awe-inspiring. So thank you to each and everyone of you.

@blackhottamales You are so right. Just doing something makes you feel like you are more in control again. Even though we really aren't lol. Squeeee I am so excited for you! So hoping that this is your THB!
@crookshanks10 Unfortunately I have no experience in this area, so hopefully the other ladies can chime in. Just sending you positive vibes!
AFM First night of shots done! DH was a champ! Next check up on Monday.
Hi everyone - I joined in two weeks ago, but feel more comfortable this week posting now. I'm also going to attempt tagging because I really want to be supportive of everyone else. If I'm off a bit on where everyone is at with treatment, forgive me. I want to get it right tho:
@crookshanks10 I'm hoping you see further follicle development for this cycle. Sending you positive vibes @nitnat007 I'm glad you got the first round of shots done! and good job to YH! mine is a wimp lol @inthewoods23 I'm glad your trip was cancelled and it works out better for timing purposes. @blackhottamales thinking of you and keeping everything crossed. hope the TWW flies by @celticknotfire I'm so glad you feel comfortable enough to join in here. Everyone is so amazingly supportive across the board (no pun intended) @emmasemm I am so sorry you had to cancel. I hope the trigger helps. @zamora_spin I hope these days fly by for you so you can get started! I'm glad sleep has improved. @KristoKekerooni I'm glad your new RE took charge and has a game plan. Keeping you in my thoughts and I hope you get more answers along the way @whatsbumpinpumpkin I'm sorry for all of the triggering things and that you are struggling. I really hope you can find some peace and time for yourself. I'm glad you have this forum to fully let out how you are feeling about it. @swiftlet I hope your RE appt goes smoothly and you find them caring and helpful @Avrilmai FX that those embryos are great and you can proceed quickly with the FET @nomangos23 I have been thinking about you, and I hope that the MRI results came back with no issues. @kobrien827 I hope that the wait goes by quickly for you to get started with estrogen priming and stim @beachbunnyxo123 I hope the baseline goes well today and you're well on your way to the FET @purplg8r I hope the days go by quickly until CD16 for you @lulu1180 I'm so sorry the headaches came back! I hope your RE got back to you with some options for helping with the headaches
AFM... Diagnosis (if you've been): MFI - 2% morphology. Will confirm with second SA
Status (WTO/TWW/TTA): WTO, CD1
What are you doing this cycle? (Testing? Treatment?): Testing for now. Second SA, I suspect more bloodwork as well as a HSG based on others input
How are things going?: Okay. I'm feeling a sense of understanding now that we know about the low morph, but I'm also questioning the OB's interpretation of my bloodwork. I went googling after lulu thought my progesterone was lower for 7DPO, and now I will bring this up with the RE. By some miracle our insurance allows for a straight jump to an RE with 2% morph, and the RE we wanted to work with had an opening Nov 16th. So we go for our first appt, a second SA, and a whole list of questions.
Any questions?: Not at the moment - a few people this week are going to the first RE appointment and you all have given great advice on what to expect/how to prepare which is so appreciated.
@chichiphin MH had 0% morphology on his first SA, with diet change and some other medication he stopped having to take as many allergy meds (Zyrtec and Benadryl) and his morphology increased to 2%. I don't know if YH has allergies, but it's a thought. I didn't know those could affect morphology until i was reading through our IVF binder.
@blackhottamales on how interesting. MH doesn't currently take any meds. He took a lot of ambien when he was deployed, and has taken several supplements for weightlifting over the years. I'm forcing him to write all of that down for our first appointment to ensure that stuff couldn't affect it. @nomangos23 yes, only 2% are normally shaped. The OB mentioned it was mostly head defects and that those can impact penetration to the egg, but I don't have the report in hand yet. Fortunately the clinic that did the SA is where we got our RE appt, so they can help us really interpret the issues.
Thank you to everyone for the kind and welcoming comments as well as the advice! I very much appreciate it and your support means so much, which I suspect you already knew
@chichiphin hey girl! I recognize your SN from a couple months back. Sorry to hear about the SA results but like you said, the continuity of care should be a great thing moving forward with the RE.
@blackhottamales Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know that about meds either!
@chichiphin Interesting... keep us updated. I'd love to hear what supplements you all have your partners on to promote healthy sperm. The only thing my DH takes is a daily multivitamin... And it's chewy lol
@chichiphin Better. MRI results came back normal so I've got a follow up appointment with my RE in two weeks to discuss everything we've had done so far... It will be nice to have a touch base and get some clear move forward direction.
Oh @nomangos23 I am so happy the MRI came back clear - but I can also see where that’d leave you back to having more questions than answers. We can count down to RE appts together - a diff kind of TWW this month
@blackhottamales Congrats on being PUPO! I hope your TWW goes by quickly and easily
@nitnat007 That's great that your first night of shots went well!
@chichiphin I think your RE will probably be able to answer your questions better than your OB could. That is so great you were able to get into the one you wanted so quickly. I've learned that most of IF is waiting and sometimes that can really suck!

@nitnat007 Wahoo on getting your shot on! Gl on Monday friend P.S. My googly pineapples are in TX right now
Afm, I'm just hanging out waiting for AF to come. Moody af as per usual. It was nice that my coordinator called AF an asshole along with me. FET meds were delivered the other day. IM shots of Delestrogen will happen and then switch to Progesterone in sesame oil plus suppositories once lining is good to go. Before, the thought of IM shots caused a lot of anxiety, but now my brain is saying bring it the F on! A long email went out to my RE about the things that upset me after ER. Basically he was told what is OK to say to me and what isn't, drew some firm boundaries, etc. He was totally receptive to it, apologized with sad faces, and told me he would do his best to watch what he says from now on. He said that they really do love us and want only the best outcome.
This process has really made me grow up more than I ever thought possible. Last week, it got me thinking about how my coordinator and Doctor probably needed to hear from us that they are doing a good job and that they are appreciated. Yea, it's their job and we are paying them, but like they put up with so much to try and get things right for their patients. I sent them emails thanking them. It felt really good when they told me that it's a pleasure taking care of someone so kind and appreciative. That wasn't expected especially since hormones can really get me out of my element. Gonna send them some presents for Christmas. We found this really cute plush ute with tubes and ovaries to send that would be really funny, eta but I might just send a strong stiff bottle of something with a nice card.

@suzycupcake that is a really nice thought and gesture! Doctors can make easy scape goats for when it's not going right, so I think that means a lot to them.

@inthewoods23 great news about your trip getting canceled (or someone else taking it!) Here's to hoping for a BFP next week though, right? Fingers crossed for you
@blackhottamales ahh, so excited for you.
Question ladies...
I had my CD13 scan and have 2 follicles measuring at 16.6 and 14.6 and my RE is having me wait until Sat. to trigger with IUI on Monday. My follicles have always been mature at CD13, so I was wondering if this is normal?
I'll save that for desperate times / desperate measures, and keep trying to get a normal temp. Maybe the keeping me up at night will end and I'll get to sleep through the night again someday soon and it won't be an issue. FX.
@crookshanks10 I'm hoping you see further follicle development for this cycle. Sending you positive vibes

@KristoKekerooni I'm glad your new RE took charge and has a game plan. Keeping you in my thoughts and I hope you get more answers along the way
@whatsbumpinpumpkin I'm sorry for all of the triggering things and that you are struggling. I really hope you can find some peace and time for yourself. I'm glad you have this forum to fully let out how you are feeling about it.

@chichiphin hey girl! I recognize your SN from a couple months back. Sorry to hear about the SA results but like you said, the continuity of care should be a great thing moving forward with the RE.
@blackhottamales Thanks for sharing, I didn’t know that about meds either!
how are you holding up??
