I think i need a notepad to take notes as i am scrolling. Anywho just know that I read each and every post and if I feel I have something to add, I respond. my estrogen is now up to 2mg 3 times a day from twice a day, and a marked effect happens just like the last go round. As my estrogen increases, my husbands annoyingness does as well lol. Yes i just made up the word annoyingness. Dear God I love him deeply but man is he annoying. But then I take a step back and realize that he is still the same hubby he has always been but the estrogen seems to affect my patience in general but mostly with him.
I am also having some negative thoughts this go round which I’m trying to fight. Last transfer I was so optimistic but the chem preg put a damper on that positivity this time around. That being said, i start acupuncture tomorrow and hoping that helps my mindset!
@Bababatty TRUST ME it’s not easy but honestly 2 weeks isn't the end of the world considering how long I have been waiting... its a very long story. I'm just happy that we are moving forward at this point. I have Lost my sh*t more than a few times during this process so MH knows when we walk into these appointments he has to take the reins or it’s gonna go down... I try And sit there calmly so they don’t think I’m more BSC than they already think I am. Also you know 5dp5dt is a lil too early.. I’m hoping it’s a fluke and you’ll start to see an awesome line progression!
@hereforthebabies that's so frustrating that they didn't seem like they were comfortable or competent. the last thing you want is a cancelled cycle because of someone else's mistake - if they try to cancel you i'd ask for another US too.
@MamaK225 & @Griffin5413 how many dpt are you guys? any symptoms? (7dpt) i got pretty much nothing over here except some very slight twinges (likely nothing at all, probably random neurons firing) and things that are explained by the PIO (a little nausea, sleepiness) but no spotting or even sore boobs.
also what is everyone's plan regarding letting people in your lives know about beta results? i have several people that know i'll find out next week and i'm just not sure how to handle dispersing the information, whether it's bad or good.

Today is my day of frustration! I went in again today to check my lining and estrogen, I’m doing a natural cycle, and they said I’m still not ready agggghhhh. My lining was 7.8 but my estrogen was just a tad too low. I’m on day 13 of my cycle which is super late to ovulate for me...I’m usually day 10-11. Of course, the one time I’m relying on my body to be it’s normal punctual self, it’s refusing to do so. 🤷🏻♀️ So, I have to go back in tomorrow and *hope* that I’m ready to trigger. Transfer date will definitely not be this weekend and likely next Wednesday or Thursday. Every little step just to test my patience.
@annielmartinez Apparently I'm blind, LOL! When I searched it was the first thing to pop up. No clue how I missed it before. Can't wait to listen! I'm sorry your estrogen is being a pill! I have found so often that when it most counts is when your body will pull some stunt, lol. Hoping your body behaves tomorrow!
@dreamunoz The REs do fail to mention that the hormones have the added side effect of increasing husband annoyingness. Poor DH. Once my estrogen dose went down and I was just on the patches and PIO, his annoyingness went down, too. LOL. Although on Friday I did literally scream at a passive-aggressive parking security dude at the airport with a chip on his shoulder. Very much not like me. So apparently annoyingness levels for parking security dudes go way up after PIO.
@wishing-and-hoping I don't typically tell people about when my betas are, but for all of our losses I've called my mom to cry and she disperses the information to my immediate family. DH handles his mom and sis.
@hereforthebabies I didn’t ask because I was thinking you meant for it to be a protocol for next time if this gets cancelled. I didn’t even think about it being an add on now. I’m going to ask tomorrow! Also, I agree that if you felt uncomfortable, I would ask for another ultrasound before they cancel
Just a quick update: my nurse DID answer me back, and she said spotting is perfectly fine and if I do get full flow that's great. (I'd consider what I've had yesterday and today a light period) Either way we will be checking my blood levels this Thursdays and next to "see where I'm at". In case anyone finds themselves in the same full-flowless boat! And 10 units was correct! Happy pre-hump day to everyone!

Just came back from my appt, my lining is at 8.5 mm and already trilinear so... so far everything looks good. waiting on my BW result, and hope that my progesterone is still low as they want it to and estrogen is rising to continue with the same protocol on my calendar GL @hereforthebabies and @annielmartinez FX for your appt as well
@babydust2507 That’s great news! I can’t remember..do you have your transfer date yet? My appt was neither good nor bad. Today they said lining was 7.3, I’m not sure why there is so much variance based on who scans me but whatever, it’s still a little low. Also, my right ovary is refusing to let go of that one mature egg sitting there. I’ve been reassured that all of this is normal with a natural cycle but of course I’m anxious AF. We only have one embryo so I only want to transfer if everything is looking 👍🏼. I have to go back in tomorrow but I’m the meantime I’m going to acupuncture today and doubling up on pomegranate juice...come on ovulation!
my transfer is already scheduled for 10/24 since I'm doing a medicated cycle. and i do understand about making sure that everything looks good before transfer to increase your odds. you do have your embryo PGS tested, right? FX for you! I'm still waiting for BW tho, hope everything looks good there too...
Maybe someone can answer this question for me I've been wondering I've seen several of people mention follicles growing and ovulation and eggs who I thinkkkkk are doing FETs. Do they still monitor follicles and whatnot for FETs? I thought lupron was to suppress ovulation (I'm sure not everyone is doing lupron), but maybe I'm just all confused lol.

AFM - I'm just going crazy in the 2ww. This time around I'm so much more unsure. It's so hard to tell if anything I feel is b/c I'm pregnant or just the hormones or just the PIO. My husband says I am for sure b/c I'm super crazy. lol. @wishing-and-hoping - I've had sore boobs since I started the PIO so I don't know if its that or not. I had a little bit of spotting but it wasn't really dark so I dont know if that's good or bad. It's like all of the symptoms you could be feeling due to being pregnant are the same exact symptoms of starting your period or being on hormones. I don't think I had many symptoms last time either though. Its so early to really tell.

So i had the same person for today’s ultrasound and she said she didn’t see significant changes but she did get the doctor to come and he performed it again. He said he was actually happy with it, especially when comparing it to my previous ultrasound that resulted in pregnancy. So I am waiting to hear if labs still look ok, but we may be a go?
@Griffin5413 No judgement here! I’m not sure I could walk out of a drug store without a FRER if I walked in today. Seriously, no self control. I’ll probably test on Saturday because then i’ll Have the whole day to mope if it’s a BFN, whereas Sunday I have lots of social things going on and I should probably not be bursting into tears. (My beta will also be on Sunday so there i’d Just be waiting for the number, which is stressful in and of itself, if it’s a BFP.) In the meantime, my ability to concentrate is nil. @wishing-and-hoping I’ve also had sore boobs since starting PIO, and I’ve also had cramping on and off theoughout this cycle so I can’t even count that as a sign. I’ve had cycles where I got BFPs with no signs at all, and last cycle (which I’d consider my most successful) I had so much cramping. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I ramble but only to say not to worry because symptoms can change or be non-existent even from cycle to cycle.
@mkr_0128 Some people are doing natural cycles so they’re monitored leading up to ovulation in order to nail the transfer date.
@wishin-and-hoping - No symptoms here, either, but I didn't have any with my BFP in 2015. With all of my BFNs, I had a ton more symptoms, so I'm hoping that no symptoms means my body's using everything ... it's not producing symptoms out of excessive hormones. That's how I'm choosing to think of it.
AFM - Beta was today, BUT with this [expletive] hurricane coming through - SERIOUSLY, stop hitting SC, Mother Nature - they've moved a lot of tomorrow's procedures to today, so I'm not sure when my RE will have a chance to review the test I took over SIX hours ago. The nurse was SUPER sweet and gave me a test from her supply (and a pee cup), in case I was feeling anxious, but I've just got it in my desk drawer at work ... if I've held out this far (9dp5dt), I can hold out a few more hours. @MamaK225 - So sorry to hear the news We are here for you. Big big hugs! @mkr_0128 - During the U/S a couple of weeks ago, when I started with the patches, the report from the technician showed 4 follicles. The nurse went through it and did no mention anything. This week on my pre-op U/S the report says 0 follicles, so I guess they show even on medicated FET and Lupron is to avoid growing and maturing (?).
@MamaK225 My heart is breaking for you! Take as much time away as you need. I completely understand. So much love and internet hugs to you and your family. This never gets easier.
so my results are finally in! estrogen was at 446 and they didn't check my progesterone level because my follicles were really small, so the're not concerned about it at this time she said, but they will check next week for sure as we get close to the transfer date to make sure I did not ovulate, so I was advised to continue with the same protocol
@mrk_0128 Yay for starting a new cycle! my cycle was definitely lighter after being on BCP. Also i'm sure you talked with your nurse but 10 units i'm sure is correct. I'm on that amount too. I'm jealous you get an appointment this early. My first appointment isn't until the 24th. @MamaK225 I'm so sorry, we understand, take all the time you need. @mama2b1974 the 13th is going to be here so soon! @Bababatty i'm sorry you got sick, fingers crossed for you and your embryo. AFM I started 1 patch today and going down to 5 units of Lupron. I was surprised by what the patch looks like and i'm still afraid it's going to fall off. I know this month will go fast since it's already the 10th but i want the end of the month to get here!
Thank you @blackhottamales and I'm with you too for wanting this month to go by super fast! I was always wondering what the patch look like. so do you put it on your arm or where does it go?
@blackhottamales interesting, I put the patches on my stomach. They’ve never had me on oral estrogen. And they don’t fall off, they’re fine in the shower and all that, 👍 they just leave a sticky residue behind.
so they cancelled me. My RE was the one who did the scan today and I’m so glad she was. She said my lining was up to 7 but didn’t have the trilaminar pattern as well any more. She wanted to wait to check my estrogen levels before she cancelled for sure but they dropped so she cancelled it. She spent a lot of time answering questions I have. I start progesterone tomorrow for 10 days and wait for AF. Then I have to take a cycle off. When I expressed concerns about how long my cycle can take and wanting get a transfer in before the end of the year, she said they’d automatically put me on progesterone on cd16 for 10 days and then once AF came we’d start an estrogen only cycle (pills, suppositories, patches and/or injections)—no bcp or Lupron. So it looks like I’ll start meds again at the end of November for a December transfer. I was resigned to waiting when I was in the office but then I got to the store and got angry and bought all the fucking carbs. I keep trying to tell myself that I need to do what’s best for a positive outcome. I’ll have to stay on H’s insurance for another year and we’ll just have to deal with it.
Looks like my time in this thread is done. I hope everyone gets a bfp...I’ll be rooting for you! And I hope No one follows me to December FET thread when it goes up.

AFM - I'm just going crazy in the 2ww. This time around I'm so much more unsure. It's so hard to tell if anything I feel is b/c I'm pregnant or just the hormones or just the PIO. My husband says I am for sure b/c I'm super crazy. lol. @wishing-and-hoping - I've had sore boobs since I started the PIO so I don't know if its that or not. I had a little bit of spotting but it wasn't really dark so I dont know if that's good or bad. It's like all of the symptoms you could be feeling due to being pregnant are the same exact symptoms of starting your period or being on hormones. I don't think I had many symptoms last time either though. Its so early to really tell.

So i had the same person for today’s ultrasound and she said she didn’t see significant changes but she did get the doctor to come and he performed it again. He said he was actually happy with it, especially when comparing it to my previous ultrasound that resulted in pregnancy. So I am waiting to hear if labs still look ok, but we may be a go?

@mkr_0128 Some people are doing natural cycles so they’re monitored leading up to ovulation in order to nail the transfer date.

AFM - Beta was today, BUT with this [expletive] hurricane coming through - SERIOUSLY, stop hitting SC, Mother Nature - they've moved a lot of tomorrow's procedures to today, so I'm not sure when my RE will have a chance to review the test I took over SIX hours ago. The nurse was SUPER sweet and gave me a test from her supply (and a pee cup), in case I was feeling anxious, but I've just got it in my desk drawer at work ... if I've held out this far (9dp5dt), I can hold out a few more hours. Just FX I get the great news I've been telling myself it will be. I hope to tell you guys soon, but have no idea when that will be. Grrrrrr.

@mkr_0128 - During the U/S a couple of weeks ago, when I started with the patches, the report from the technician showed 4 follicles. The nurse went through it and did no mention anything. This week on my pre-op U/S the report says 0 follicles, so I guess they show even on medicated FET and Lupron is to avoid growing and maturing (?).
major bummer @MamaK225. that really sucks. please take all the time you need to grieve. we feel your pain. i'm so sorry.

@mrk_0128 Yay for starting a new cycle! my cycle was definitely lighter after being on BCP. Also i'm sure you talked with your nurse but 10 units i'm sure is correct. I'm on that amount too. I'm jealous you get an appointment this early. My first appointment isn't until the 24th.

I started 1 patch today and going down to 5 units of Lupron. I was surprised by what the patch looks like and i'm still afraid it's going to fall off. I know this month will go fast since it's already the 10th but i want the end of the month to get here!
In the meantime I will anxiously be reading everyone's updates ❤️
