I am in an odd mood. Like so nervous for AF but so excited. It's making me feel sick...
  • @ndz2018 glad your sono looked great 👍 sorry to hear about the scheduling though! From what you said, it sounds like it could be for the better with your move.

@roisis yay for AF! Glad she’s cooperating 😉

I’ll be on a family trip to Vail for the weekend, catch you ladies next week! 👋
  • Vail is such an amazing place @hereforthebabies, have a great time!
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

  • Have a great time @hereforthebabies!!

It's been 2.5 days since I stopped my BCP, and no spotting even yet. I'm at my regular cycle time any day now, so I was expecting to start spotting by now and get AF by tomorrow.... Now I'm getting nervous and frustrated it won't come on time and I'll have to be set back (I'm set to move across the country November 2 and my FET is scheduled anywhere from October 30 - November 2). PLEASE SEND ME AF VIBES!!!!
  • @mkr_0128 sending you the bloodiest vibes.

Guys I need to ask a question that might trigger some...

Not sure where or who to ask but need advice from someone who knows about cysts and them causing a positive response?

Doctor has booked bloods for tomorrow so hoping to know by Tuesday what is happening. Freaking out here as Google says cancer cysts can cause that... Anyone?
  • @mkr_0128 Talk to your nurse. I had the same thing happen when they put my on BCP's while waiting on my ERA results. I called and they were able to get me in and do a sono, then deemed it ok to start my FET cycle without a period :)

  • @mkr_0128 Sending you bloody vibes!

I just got back from my monitoring, lining looks good 6.8 (same as Friday when I looked 🙈) and a dominant follicle on the right. He said 1-2 more days before the trigger which puts me on course for a transfer sometime between the 13-15th! I’m getting sooo excited and nervous. Next weekend, FX, I’ll be PUPO!

yay! @annielmartinez! glad to hear that your appt went well and you're on schedule! the board is getting more exciting with all these upcoming FETs!
@mkr_0128 praying for your AF to come and stop stressing out and think about too much, stress can delay AF too. I know it's not that easy to do but you can call the clinic like @kristimh80 for the ERA option as your plan B. sending you bloodiest vibes too!
  • @babydust2507 Oh I didn't mean the ERA as a back up...just was on BCP's while waiting for the ERA results :)

  • Thank you @agaun, @kristimh80, @annielmartinez, and @babydust2507!! It looks like my spotting has started very lightly so hopefully she's on her way!

I'm sorry @agaun I have no info on cysts :( I'm glad you are getting blood done tomorrow though so you can figure it out sooner than later! Try not to think the worst though, Google can often be less than helpful ❤️

Oh wow thats good to know @kristimh80 :) I'm planning to call Tuesday if it for some reason hasn't fully started yet and see what they can work out for me!

@annielmartinez yay for next weekend!! How exciting :)

@babydust2507 I'm soooo trying not to stress and having a busy weekend has helped a bit luckily! Just ready to get onto the next step, as usual lol! How's everything going with you? You're on the Estrogen now right?
  • @mkr_0128 yaaaaay for spotting. I mean seriously yippy.

Well not sure what the update policy on BFP I will find out in 14 days at my scan appointment if it is a cyst or not(they actually can't rule it out before that)

Bloods will be later. Really don't see the point if they can't actually give advice till later and definitely not going to get my hopes up. Maybe I will get AF soon and then I can actually start.

  • @mkr_0128  Yay for spotting - hope that turns into a full flow for you today <3
@annielmartinez That's fantastic that you'd on track!! Best of luck for a thickening lining!
@agaun Sorry - I've no idea about the response to cysts - other than they are quite common so try not to stress too much about them. Sometimes they just go away by themselves (I had one that did that) and sometimes they need to be drained (small simple procedure), But I agree with @mkr_0128 not to worry too much as to what Google say. Talk to your doc/nurse about your concerns.

  • Sounds like everyone had progressive weekends, let's keep it going through the week :)

AFM, I have managed to avoid POAS with a crazy, crazy weekend, but I'm glad it was what it was because now there is like zero stress in my life (would've been better last week!), so I'm just on a countdown until Wednesday morning's Betas. Progesterone dreams are still at bay and boobs are only mildly sore (the last few FETs, I was having batshit crazy dreams and so-sore-I-can-barely-move boobs the entire time), so I'm counting those as a good signs that they're much milder this time. One can hope.

I feel like most of the transfers are scheduled for later in the week, is that right? Who is scheduled for this week?

  • @mkr_0128 come on AF!

    @annielmartinez so excited for you!!

    @MamaK225 hopefully Wednesday comes quickly!

just had my ultrasound and waiting for bloodwork.  Lining is still only 6.7 so I have a feeling they’re going to cancel my cycle.  I’m not a happy camper
  • @mkr_0128 glad to hear that you started spotting. Is AF here now? and yest I am on estrogen right now, 3 times/day and my boobs are sore now.
    @kristimh80 thanks for clarifying LOL
@agaun, I agree with @roisis, I had cyst before and it didn't delay anything and disappeared on its own, didn't even need to drain it out, but I have heard they do that sometimes, depending on the situation I guess, so don't stress too much about it
@MamaK225 hang in there!, Wednesday will be here before you even know it! I actually have my next appt on wednesday too to check my lining and do BW. have my fingers crossed for you!
I had a dream that they changed my FET date after I got my lining check. hope it will be earlier and not later than 10/24, FX!
  • @babydust2507 - earlier is always preferred! FX that comes to be!

@purplg8r - where do they typically prefer your lining? How much earlier than transfer do you do U/S and bloodwork? My RE does 5-7 days earlier and prefers 7-12 for the lining ... 6.7 isn't too far off. Were they upping your Estrogen? What sort of regimen did they have you on? FX that everything comes back ok and your lining progresses more very soon :)

  • I was offline for a few days and the boards just go crazy! Ladies you have all been busy.
purplg8r - I'm so sorry if they do have to cancel. Holding out hope that things will still be ok!
@MamaK225 - are you going to completely wait for bloodwork or are you going to POAS before Wednesday? my bloodwork is Sunday so I am going to hold out until Saturday or 1st thing Sunday morning. I like to be somewhat prepared for the answer.
@agaun - Google is a double edged sword! Don't freak out until they tell you to freak out. I've had cycsts before and they were just fluid filled on my ovary. They are really common!
@mkr_0128  - hoping you are full flow today!
@Stars2016  - welcome! we are transfer buddies! When they give you the quality, that doesn't mean a whole lot. my boss has a beautiful son who was  a C quality.
@ndz2018 - glad your saline sono went well!
@babydust2507 - first you should never feel ashamed of what you are going through. That's part of the problem with the stigma of infertility. We need more people talking about it. I don't think we realize how common it is for couples to experience this. Our first time around we blogged about the process. More for the fact of telling our loved ones specifically what they could be praying for throughout the process. This time around we told very few people. We haven't even told our family. We just told my MIL & SIL this weekend b/c we all rented a house to hang out by the pool but I couldn't get in the pool after FET so we had to tell them why I wasn't swimming. They were ecstatic for us and shocked that we hadn't told them. While it was really fun getting to surprise them, this time around I feel like I am so much more cautious and afraid to get excited at the possibility.

I hope you all have a great week! I think there are some ladies transferring this week so I'm sending sticky vibes to you all!

  • @purplg8r Ah crap - I'm really sorry. Was hoping your lining would take a spurt over the weekend. When will they make a decision for you?
@MamaK225 Well done you on not POAS!! Wow - so Beta this week - that's awesome. Here's hoping you'll be the start of some wonderful October results :)
AFM - I'm having some serious problems concentrating. I promised my boss I'd have a draft of a paper for him this Wednesday and decided to work on it from home today as I barely slept last night (stupid crazy dreams...) and I have literally (like LITERALLY!) wasted the day. Now I'm in borderline panic because I was already late with my progress on this and I've just made things a million times worse and I really don't know how I'm going to manage this and I actually don't know if I'm just being lazy or tired or hormonal - I just know that I'm stressed but I can't even tell if I'm stressed about work or about this. It seems ridiculous to be stressed about this yet - I don't even have a monitoring appointment for over a week. So it must be work.
Or it could be the feckin estrogen. Ugh, I'll go in tomorrow and see if I can get another few days for it - but even if I do - I need my concentration back. Has anyone had this problem? Any tips??

  • @roisis - That's exactly what these meds do to me: estrogen makes me ditsy/apt to waste productivity and progesterone gives me crazy dreams so I don't sleep as soundly. I'm struggling today, trying to get all of the stuff done that I need to given I have to take some time off Wednesday to make the 4-5 hour roundtrip to go get a simple blood test (seriously, as much as I've pumped into that clinic in cash, they need to build an offshoot in my town!) ... so I'm panicking, too. Think I'm going to turn on some metal to knock it out and then go back to relaxing with @annielmartinez's great Spotify playlist.

@Griffin5413 - congrats on being PUPO, if I haven't said it before. FX for you and your patience, as well. Honestly, I don't think I'll even POAS before my beta. I prefer to do it after since - like I said, LONG commute - it would make the roundtrip miserable or I'd be so excited I can't drive properly. I'm also trying to be of a better mindset than I have over the last few FETs and go into it with the confidence that I did my first (successful) transfer and just "know" that it'll be ok, so not to sweat it. But we'll see ;)

@mkr_0128 - hope you get to full flow, mine was such a PITA when I was waiting for it. Mother Nature can just be so cruel and add insult to injury, can't it? Hoping you get to start really soon and get a tentative date scribbled down.

  • @MamaK225 will be holding thumbs and lurking this board to follow you lovely ladies updates.

@Griffin5413 Thank you. Turns out it's not  a cyst so thats a relief but also very unexpected as they actually did scan today.

    @babydust2507 @roisis
Thank you for your feedback ❤️
  • @purplg8r I'm sorry to hear that! when are they going to give you the result? keep us posted, FX and will be praying for you!
@Griffin5413 thank you for your kind words, I'm working on it, it';s just so hard! I feel like I'm a failure when I see others getting pregnant with no issue. can't wait to hear your beta!
@roisis, sorry you're having trouble focusing on work right now, but I think it's normal, i also freak out when i start a cycle, although I get excited and impatient before the cycle but when it starts it'a a different story. Hope you'll get your focus soon and be able to finish your project with the deadline met!

  • Wow! Lots to catch up on this board!! Congrats to those ladies being PUPO!! Good luck with the 2WW and FX for those still in the process of moving forward with their treatments...IF is really a proof to our patience <3

AFM - I had my pre-op appointment today, everything looked okay and we are moving forward with the transfer on Sat 13th.  I asked the nurse about the change on the time for PIO and she explained NOTHING!!!...I don't even think she listened to me.  She just kept going talking about the calendar, so I asked again, told her about having the shot at night worked for me and she said...its just a few hours, not to worry, sometimes they change times based on new information, and that is for the best.  So, she did the first PIO, no heating pad or massage, or ice...I normally have a ritual...so I felt like there was a lot missing, but it did not hurt, i did not even felt the needle.
Going for acupuncture twice before the transfer and on transfer day.  I just need to get some pineapples and some more HPTs (because I rather have them and not use them, than not having them handy) and then I should be ready for FET.  Just praying that my embaby enjoys the thawing. :)
  • @purplg8r Bummer to hear your update. FX for your lining to plump up quickly. When will you know if you’re cancelled or not?

@MamaK225 48 hours to go!!! I’m sure you’re getting excited and anxious! FX for positive news.
  • @mama2b1974 yay on moving forward! FX! and when they do the PIO it doesn't hurt, that's amazing! they are experts!!! now just relax and get ready for transfer day!
  • @MamaK225 they said 8 but maybe they’re ok with 7. I was on 2mg twice a day but on Thursday they increased it to 4mg twice a day.

@roisis I’m hoping they make a decision soon!  And I feel you on the “laziness”. Maybe it is the estrogen. I thought maybe I was just overly stressed but reading about makes me want to blame it on the meds

@babydust2507 I got the results finally around 2.

@mama2b1974 yay!  So excited for you!

@annielmartinez they have me holding on until at least Wednesday.

So i so I got my lab results back and my estrogen more than doubled so that’s good I guess. They’re keeping me on the same protocol. I was hopeful going in today but I’m not hopeful for Wednesday (it only went up .2 in 4 days. Not sure it’ll go up much in 2 days).  I guess we’ll see.

Hoping for good news regarding your lining @purplg8r!!

@MamaK225 Wednesday is SOO close! Ah keeping everything crossed for you!

@mama2b1974 woohoo good news to hear about Saturday!! I can't wait for your big day :)

AFM - a bit of red today and some brown still, but definitely not full flow yet... Hoping tomorrows the day gahh! I think I'll still be on track if it comes tomorrow... As it will be day 5 since ending BCP and that's what my paper says...

Also just had a small panic attack about my lupron injections. The script on the box says inject 1mg daily, my protocol paper says 10 units daily (which is 0.1 mL).. I've been following my paper so I've just been doing 10 units/0.1mL so I hope that's right! Ugh going to call my nurse tomorrow but chances of her answering or getting back to me same day are slim...
  • FX for you for your wednesday appt @purplg8r!.
@mkr_0128 that sounds about right to me, let us know what the nurse says. Also, sometimes with BCP you don't get a full flow, did you ask them if they will continue with your calendar if it's just spotting, i will think so. Anyway, FX you get your full flow!
  • @mkr_0128 - OMG, that's so stressful. I wish they'd settle on a singular way to label orders, I swear half the time it's a different way to say the same thing.

@purplg8r - FX so hard for you that everything decided to act right since your estrogen jumped up to where it needs to be.

@mama2b1974 - The 13th is so close! When is your Beta scheduled?

  • Thanks for the awesome vibes ladies!! Super excited and nervous about Saturday!!

@MamaK225 - No BETA dates yet.  My clinic gives you a reivised calendar with BETAs the same day of the transfer, but the last 2 times they did it on day 9 or 10 post 5DT, so I guess Oct 22...which basically sounds like 2019 now.
  • @mkr_0128 - what you are doing sounds right to me, 10 units is what I have been injecting until yesterday that I had to stop.  Just checked my calendars from previous FET and is the same dose, so you should be fine.
  • Thank you @mama2b1974 that makes me feel better! You would think the protocol paper would be accurate, I just freaked myself out seeing 2 different numbers and 2 different measurement labels

I left a message for my nurse at 7 on my way to work this morning, telling her about my somewhat bleeding but not full flow yet and reminding her it was my 5th day off the pills today. I'm not confident she will get back to me today since they aren't the best at returning phone calls in a timely manner... But hoping since I have some bleeding it's sufficient! Thanks for the positive thoughts and reassure :) go for initial bloodwork Thurs!!
  • @ndz2018 Noooo! I am so sad that you're delayed! I am also confused about the social worker thing. Your clinic requires you to talk to a social worker? That would anger me to no end for many reasons; I get it for adoption/fostering but it seems like a punishment for IF people who are still trying to conceive their own child. Like, if our bodies would function properly, no one would care about our mental state. I'm impressed that you're so calm about it. I've never spoken a word in anger to a medical professional before, but I'm 90% sure I would have lost it at my RE if they tried to delay me over an appointment I didn't think was necessary.

@annielmartinez I couldn't find your playlist on Spotify for some reason. :( Also, glad to hear everything is on course!

@mkr_0128 Glad to hear AF is showing her face! As long as you're doing what's on your paper, I think you're fine, but always good to confirm with your nurse. Also, I think that's what I was doing, too.

    @MamaK225 Good luck tomorrow!!!!

@roisis My concentration this cycle has been s**t. I hope I can blame it on the hormones. I was attributing it to depression from all the IF stuff and anxiety about this cycle. Anyway, no real tips on how to deal with the total lack of concentration, but good luck with your paper! I'm sure you will get it done. And at least it's just a draft?

@mama2b1974 So annoying that your nurse didn't answer your question! If it makes you feel better at all, I talked to my nurse on Friday because I was to be on a plane at my normal progesterone hour and wanted to know about taking it early or late. She said there's basically an 8 hour window (4 hours on each side of your normal injection time) when you can take it. Obviously you're looking at more like 12 hours from previous times, but maybe it won't make a huge difference? Believe me, I can totally commiserate on not wanting to change anything if you think something is working!

@purplg8r Glad you're still in! I'm so sorry your lining is not behaving itself, but glad to hear your estrogen is going up. Fingers crossed for Wednesday!!

AFM Sorry I've been MIA. I started getting a cold about 2 hours after my transfer (seriously, not a sniffle beforehand; went to acupuncture, got up, and bam! post-nasal drip). So annoying. I suffered through the cold for two days, but by Sunday I'd called my clinic to ask if I could take anything (we'd rather you not but if you have to, benadryl). Then later that afternoon I spiked a fever, so I had to call again and coax it back down with tylenol. Le sigh. I still feel pretty terrible, but at least I'm no longer feverish. Also, I have no self-control so I POAS this morning (5dp5dt), and stark white BFN--so I second all those recommendations of not POAS too early. I just looked back at all of my previous transfer cycles and I never tested this early. I'm just worried about my poor embryo since my body has found new and different ways to fail me.
  • @Bababatty - I know!! she reassured me changing from night to morning, would not affect my response, so I just have to trust them....maybe this is the one change I will need to keep a pregnancy FX!
5 days is super early, so don't feel anything about it.  I would give it not 1 but 2 more days.  7dp5dt is when is started testing my last FET and I got the faintest line, and not even after the recommended 3 minute wait, it was more like 10 minutes after, so try (I know its hard) not to think about it.
  • @Bababatty sorry to hear that you do not feel good, and glad to know that there is some improvement and you do not have fever anymore. getting a cold might be a sign I have read that cold can be a early sign of pregnancy and i also think you tested way too early, give it some time and try again! hang in there, your BFP is around the corner now!
  • @mama2b1974 and @babydust2507 Haha oh believe me, I am VERY EMBARRASSED with myself for testing so early.  :#:D I'm not sure I will test again before my beta because that was my last FRER and those puppies are expensive.
  • @suzycupcake and @mkr_0128 thanks ladies, enjoyed the fall colors, some games and good food. Mkr_0128 so happy you got AF officially enough to move on! Following the calendar protocol is the way to go, I’m sure you’re fine!

@Bababatty sorry to hear you caught a cold at transfer time, that is a huge bummer! 5dp5dt is quite early, but seeing a BFN is hard, even if you know it’s too soon to test. Sending you sunshine vibes and wishing you well!

@mama2b1974 good luck on Saturday! Happy to hear all is on track.

@purplg8r hoping Wednesday surprises you in a good way! Did you ever ask about the delestrogen?

AFM, just had my last ultrasound this morning, and a bit uncertain if they’ll cancel this cycle.  I did not have my normal ultrasound tech, but instead a fellow of the practice was filling in. My lining measured thick at 14.5mm, but they were unsure if they saw a triple stripe. They did have trouble in general finding my ovaries ( had me get up to empty my bladder midway through), so I’m not sure how comfortable they were reading the images. So, in limbo for now. Mixed feelings right now...I would be disappointed to start over, but I do want the best environment for the embryo.
  • @mama2b1974 - yay for Saturday! that's so exciting.
@Bababatty - I'm so sorry you haven't been feeling well! I hope you are out of the woods soon. I'm starting to get so antsy. It's a good think I don't have any tests in the house right now or I would totally use it! lol
@hereforthebabies - it sounds like you had a great trip! I LOVE Colorado. My husband grew up in the Springs. so we try to get back whenever we can. I would have been so uncomfortable if I felt like they didn't really know what they were doing for my ultrasound. I would have probably asked for the dr!
@purplg8r - that's hopeful that they are keeping you on schedule for now!
@mkr_0128 I always try to go by what the paper from the dr. says. I think for my PIO shots, I sat there for like 10 minutes second guessing myself feeling like it was way too much.
@MamaK225 - less than 24 hours!!!!! so excited for you.

  • @hereforthebabies I think that's a fantastic lining. I wouldn't let them cancel your cycle until you have an u/s with someone who's comfortable reading the screen. It sounds like this fellow may not have known quite what they were doing, so I'd ask for a retry if they're giving you any trouble. Good luck!
  • Thanks ladies! My nurse emailed confirming my baseline blood apt for Thurs (which was nice) but did not seem to realize I left that voice mail this morning, so I emailed her and asked if the blood I've experienced is normal enough and if we are still on track...so hoping she answers! I didn't think I'd be so nervous for just bloodwork this time around, ugh. The stress truly is never ending!!

@Bababatty I hope you continue to feel better and you can start to worry less, if possible! Hoping for your BFP!!!

@hereforthebabies are you unsure because of the lining or because of the uncertainty of the triple stripe? Sorry I am unfamiliar with what docs want to see prior to FET but hoping for the best for you!!
