Re: The Official SALES/STEALS/DEALS Thread

  • I also had PPA but I think the Snuza would have exacerbated it for me.  Definitely a know yourself kind of product!

@lippy625 I would have never thought about that!  The one I was eyeing (a Million Dollar Baby set) is exclusively sold at BBB and not available direct from the manufacturer :-(  I'm going to look at Child Craft ones!

  • @lippy625 We purchased our crib from Target - but Target did not sell the full bed rail conversions, I never even thought to check the manufacturer! I can order them through that website! Thank you!

@kadeephd cute! My idea is to wear it over a nursing tank & some shorts/pants/undies depending on how cold the hospital is. I'll leave the hospital gown on for all things labor & delivery (& all the extra fluids),but want to put the cute robe on for when people visit & when my sister comes and snaps a few pictures of us as well as for breastfeeding. Sooo I decided I didn't really LOVE any of the ones I had picked but I like this one (will attached to spoiler), so I am going to wait it out until I can get it for cheaper. There's always free shipping on PB & they have sales alllll the time, so for me I think it'll be worth waiting!

@kadeephd I wore the hospital gown the whole stay last time because I didn’t want to get bloodstains on my clothes. This time I may wear a tank underneath, instead so I look more put together in photos, but we will see how I feel. At home, I wore a lot of robes/cardigans over tanks with the mesh undies.
  • @clbness I didn't order yet.  Let us know how you like it when it arrives!  Nice deal on the dress too 👍

  • Thank you for the tip, @kadeephd. Just stacked the two coupons to get our car seat.  B)
  • Thanks a lot @hoosiermama-2 I just bought 3 pairs of pants and 6 long sleeve shirts  :#
  • My cart is embarrassing right now.
  • @kadeephd Damn, that's a steal!  Is it too late to turn in old car seats at Target?  I think I missed the window of opportunity, here.  :/

  • It is, @clbness :s One of my N16 mamas gave me her trade-in coupon to stack with the current promotion. It's worth posting about in a local mama FB group, etc. if you're in any. Someone might have a coupon to spare.
  • Also, if you don't have a Carter's account (get one), if you sign up through my referral link you'll get $15 off your $50 order - https://refer.carters.com/x/tODRHV (sorry had to)
  • @hoosiermama-2 Blarg, I thought I was too late.  Thanks for the FB group rec, I wouldn't have even thought of that!  Also, thanks for the referral code...I'll help you out, guuuuurrrrl.  :p

  • @artemis618 glad I'm not the only one!
  • @clbness The Target trade-in ended September 22, but maybe you can find a coupon someone isn't going to use like @hoosiermama-2!

  • Woolino sale -

    https://woolino.com

I can't remember if they do anything better than this  :#
  • Thanks for sharing the woolino sale @hoosiermama-2! I think I'm going to pull the trigger. I'm just trying to decide if I want two of the 4-season regular or basic. Leaning toward spending the extra cashmoney on two regular ones because it seems silly to spend all that money for something that won't last two years like the other. Also, I realized that the only way to get them off would be from the top, so I'll probably wait until Theda doesn't need nighttime diaper changes to start using them, since I prefer to go in from the bottom before that point.

  • I stumbled across this tonight while doing pump research ... not only was the starter kit free but it’s coming with a 50% off coupon for the gift set I registered for!! Which no one is getting me - maybe they think it’s weird? Super stoked about this and the coupon!
  • @countrygirl624 wow!  Is that for real?  What a crazy deal!
  • @PensiveCrayon I'd recommend the regular for sure.
Idk if I'm reading what you're saying correctly but.... the sacks zip all the way around, from the right bottom corner/foot up to the left underarm. So no need to take it all the way off for diapers changes, just zip it as high as you need.
And there are snaps on both shoulders, so if baby is lying on her back, you could unzip and undo the shoulders snaps getting the whole sack off, possibly, without really bothering her.
    Hope this makes sense/helps.
  • Yes, that really helps @hoosiermama-2!

  • @scaredunprepared I’ll let you know when it gets here!!
  • Quite a few cribs on clearance at BBB, if you're still shopping.
  • @scaredunprepared It's real. I did it a couple months back. It's a super tiny back with different parts and a couple bags. It also came with one of the bottle things and 2-3 nipples I think? That looks like it may be a different kit though? @countrygirl624? I got one when pregnant with DS and I only paid like $15 I think? It came with so much stuff, bags, bottles, three different nipples, the parts that attach to the pumps, the feeding stuff. It was so nice.

FYI Zulily has Chicco and Tula on their site today. I'm not sure if the prices are actually good deals because I didn't check. I know sometimes Zulily deals aren't really cheaper than anywhere else.

ETA: I think it's Chicco... it may be Graco?
