  • @notthecheat that is so frustrating I’m sorry

  • I hated the snoogle and did a wedge little pillow instead. Snoogle felt like I was wrestling an animal and trapped. No thanks.
    TW:
    1 infant loss
    8/17: Our daughter was born
8/18: Our daughter kicked open heart surgery ass
2/19: We lost our son to Prader-Willi/Paradoxical Vocal Cord/ Noonans at 6wks old
    4/26/2020: EDD for baby #3!!!
  • @notthecheat sorry you still aren’t feeling well. I’m sure working nights doesn’t help your nausea. I hope it goes away soon!
  •  I've continued to have difficulty brushing my teeth due to a lovely post nasal drip and gag reflex, recently added gums bleeding (don't worry sometimes this results in extra brushings). Serious question though. How do you not throw up at the dentist while pregnant? I've been putting off going because I don't think I could handle it
  • @ksdelong20
I'm supposed to go to the dentist next week but I'm canceling. I can't even brush my own teeth. I'm just going to tell them why and I'll go back after baby comes.
  • Headaches, headaches and more headaches! Between the heat and humidity and starting back to school with 20 fifth graders I’ve been living on Tylenol (and it’s not really helping). Anyone else in this boat?
  • I’ve just had a headache all day today.
  • I’m going for a prenatal massage tomorrow morning and I can cry with happiness at the thought of my body being rubbed because the aches and pains are so terrible

  • @kcl283 my 5th graders give me headaches, too  :D:D:D
  • Headaches galore over here too. I got my blue light blocking glasses though and they’ve really helped with screen-induced headaches. (Although likely won’t help much with 5th graders)
  • @kcl283 headaches (mostly sinus, congestion related) all day here. I've taken extra strength Tylenol when necessary, it takes the edge off I guess. The most effective thing for me is a heating pad although that doesn't always work and sounds like it might not work for you if heat is a contributing factor. My best suggestion is to stay as hydrated as possible, which you are probably already doing. I'm sorry.

  • Thank you, everyone. <3 I know there's plenty of people here who have it worse than me with the pukes and I'm so so sorry. I was in that position during my last pregnancy and it's god-awful. My patience is even thinner though this pregnancy so I was just over it with everything this morning.
  • Yeah I'm on the headache wagon, too, I think in part due to congestion. Also having some gag relflexes while brushing my teeth, it’s delightful
  • I have a presentation in 30 min and am actively vomiting.

  • @episcowitch May the force be with you.
  • @episcowitch- holy crap and I thought my morning was hard. BReak a leg!
  • Good luck @episcowitch. I hope your body cooperates.
  • @BourbonBiscuits, good idea.. haha!!  Steam rolled through the kitchen this morning.. i was gonna leave that detail out  :D
  • I'm reading this as I lie in bed, tired from doing absolutely nothing all morning. Please send some energy my way, @cass06_07 and @BourbonBiscuits! My house could really use a good clean.
  • @becks_726 sending energy vibes your way
  • I have this Monday off, so I'm hoping I get some of that productive energy then! My apartment is still reeling from my "I'm nauseated and exhausted" days of takeout and bare minimum cleaning. DH is cleaning right now while I'm getting some emails sent and work finished up from last week. He is wonderful sometimes.
  • Whhhhy is the heartburn starting already?! The baby isn’t even to my belly button yet. Is it February yet?!
  • Sending all my energy vibes out to you girls. I did puke straight bile this morning too, so it’s not all glamorous over here lol
  • I'm on the migraine train (had them since I was 13) so tylenol wouldn't do a thing. All the temp changes and rain, its terrible. Desperately hoping DD goes down for a nap in a bit, so I can too. I've played with her most of the day so DH could get docs ready we needed for our new house purchase. But, I'm ready to kill him for not helping more, even though i knew he couldn't do both. Ugh migraines + pregnancy hormones.

  • I had a balloon pop in my face, and it scared me so I started crying. Then I couldnt stop. Plus DD was crying because I upset her, and DH cant do or say anything right. Im still fighting off tears again. Gahhhh!!
