I am a hot effing mess today. Dropped my DD2 off for her first day of preschool and I honestly am not sure if I cried more today or my first day back to work after she was born. She was like ‘peace mom I’m going to play’ meanwhile I’m ducking around a corner so she doesn’t see me blubbering.
Plus today would have been my RCS from my most recent loss so I am sure that is not helping my crazy town feelings.

@mamakate1616 I'm sorry you're having a rough day. These hormones make for some crazy days for sure. Do something nice for yourself!

I am having mood swings like mad lately. This morning I actually told the babies father **TW** I'm headed to the Dr. If there is no hb you'll be off the hook **TW end**. I honestly don't know what I was thinking. I don't wish for that at all, never! I am just so frustrated with the whole situation that I don't know what to say. He's been an ass and still hasn't reached out to see or talk to me. I've been the one to tacting him all the time. I feel like a fool but at the same time he is the father.

This is not what I ever had planned in my life and I'm just not sure how it's all going to turn out. I don't think what I want is going to happen and it's breaking my heart already.

@violetmarie61516 thanks. I know you said you would post more details when you were ready, but is DH at least there for you/are you guys staying together? I can’t imagine how complicated things are.

@violetmarie61516 I'm so sorry! But honestly, I probably would have said the same or something similar in your situation...even without the extra crazy pregnancy hormones. But I agree, he should step up, at least for your baby's sake. Hopefully, as time goes by he'll come to terms with it all and do the right thing for you both. *tw* when I was younger and had a cp with an ex I was on and off with for years...he also freaked out and shut me out for a long time as well. So I get exactly how your feeling. *tw end* Some guys just don't process things very maturely, but I really pray for you that everything works itself out.

@mamakate1616 I'm sorry you're having a hard day. But on the bright side, her having just run off to play means you've raised a strong, independent, social kid that knows her mom will be there to pick her up when she's done for the day. You've done a great job! And I'm sorry about the loss, I'm sure that doesn't help.

@violetmarie61516 I'm sorry the dad isn't being an adult about this. We all say things we don't really mean when we are upset, so don't beat yourself up about it. I hope he comes around and you get the outcome you want.

Dang work. How dare they get in between you and the bump.

my random, we’ve implemented a new chore system for our son tonight. He is obsessed with money right now so we’re using felt money to get him incentivized to do stuff around the house and he can turn that ‘money’ in to watch tv or play on his iPad after chores and home work is done. Fingers crossed that this helps alleviate the attitude and self entitled brat we’ve been getting from him.

eta: I have pretty solid RBF and didn’t have any issues last time (that I remember), even my MIL who loves to touch preggo bellies knew not to.

@bdesterhouse how old is he? With homework I’m assuming not a toddler. That’s amazing. My Dd can be a tyrant and that sounds like it would work to get through to her when she gets in a demand loop. Did you make or buy the felt money?

Random, also appropriate for FFFC but Friday feels so far away:

We don’t know the gender yet but I really don’t want a boy. I have two DD and I just want to keep it easy. I have lots of brothers & nephews—the thought of a boy absolutely exhausts me. Even my DH wants another daughter. Praying we get a girl but “as long as it’s healthy that’s all that matters!” Lol.

@mamakate1616 he is 7, I bought some felt money from targets $1 bin, to help him with math initially. I’m going to go back and see if they have more bc I think it might be cheaper. If they don’t then I plan to hit up the local Hobby Lobby and make more. I need to figure out a way to centeralize a chore list he can use to pick from. He’s a good kid, I’m just paranoid about the bout of bad behavior we get, getting worse as he gets older so I’m trying to setup a solid foundation now that way we aren’t overwhelmed when he’s a teenager and then is out of control... I’m also a slight control freak.

@lelkcot I managed to pull them out because I needed the maternity shorts, but haven't gotten around to going through them all and washing/putting them in my drawers. They're just littering our office driving MH crazy.

DD2 started walking. It's adorable and I am already worn out. How am I going to do this with three DDs 3 and under?!

I started wearing flowy tops to work this week because by the end of the day there's an obvious (probably only to me...) bump and I'm trying my best to hold out until at least the 17th to share with the office.

Go for it. I did the sign this morning bc I forgot to do it on the computer last night. We have a new team member (transferred from a different area) and she started in our area yesterday and she’s due exactly a month before me. So naturally comments about the water were made, and everyone took the news great. They’re all excited for us. The moms on our team are all moms of two boys, so I told them they likely jinxed me out of my girl.

@bdesterhouse omg, felt money is genius! I read an article sometime in the last 6 months that some non-human primates can understand the idea of currency after consistent practice with coins, including the idea of price fluctuation. So, at least you'll have a earthly stockbroker for a teenager, even if attitude doesn't improve. I'm seriously considering starting a chores/treats payment system for dd1 when she turns 2.

@bdesterhouse TB says my baby is the size of a lime this week while Ovia says it’s the size of a Brussel Sprout. Those two things are not even close. I’m not sure how they come up with these things!
