molosmiles It's the boobs that would make me nervous ordering far in advance. I just had the worst time finding a dress to wear to my friends wedding. Three dresses ordered online wouldn't fit my chest and I finally found one at Macy's in the regular section I liked. Then at Motherhood I bought two dresses for mid-October- one for my work gala and one for my shower. As long as its not low cut and there aren't divisions between chest and stomach and it is very stretchy then you should be ok??

This is pretty but wouldn't fit my boobs. https://www.pinkblushmaternity.com/n-326-lace.aspx?mobile=0 Story of my life.
  • @greenhillgirl I luckily don't have very big boobs...they definitely grow during pregnancy but don't get really big until nursing...and still they are probably a D cup. But that is definitely the area that worries me the most.

The link sent me to a search of lace dresses, but I was looking at one from that site, lace with an open back. So pretty!
  • @molosmiles that was one area I really appreciated the custom measurements at Azazie. I definitely added more inches to the bust than seemed necessary planning to have it altered down.  I haven’t noticed a huge difference in my boobs yet but wanted the option.
  • @mrsmang I should get my sample dresses tomorrow and I'm so excited!
  • I woke up this morning sick as a dog. I think it's bronchitis, but a major WTF to that! It's still 40 degree heat out there! I'm supposed to have at least another couple of months before I spend my days coughing and snotting. Grrr.
So I had to postpone a major work project, because I'm asthmatic/it's super humid out/I'm sick and pregnant... Nice big bundle right there. So unhappy.

Ugh. I hope you feel better too. My asthma is usually contained to exercise-induced, but whenever I get a chest cold, it ends up turning into bronchitis. It's the pits.

  • @MrsDho11 Exactly the same here! Sometimes humidity can kick it off if I'm trying to be too productive, but it's usually set off by actual exercise.
Or just what should have been a mild cold. You know how it is, unfortunately.

I do. I really hope you're feeling better soon and it's at least a quicker round of it.

Am I awake at 4 AM because:

    A. I'm hungry.
    B. I have to pee.
    C. I'm excited for my anatomy scan in a few hours.
    D. I'm nervous for my anatomy scan in a few hours.
    E. All of the above.

Answer: All of the above. Pregnancy problems.

Thinking of you! Hope all goes well. I was up bc 1. Pee 2. Husband snoring probs

I have my scan tomorrow (FINALLY) & can’t wait to join some of you all at the half baked point. :)
  • @leighbrek Ugh, that sounds miserable. Summer colds are awful, especially when it's this hot and humid out. It's 42°C here today and that's about 12-15° hotter than I like it! It's gross. Can't imagine being snotty and wheezy on top of the humidity. Even worse when you can't take any meds! At the very least, I find using a saline nasal spray works just well enough to keep my sanity.  I really hope you're able to get a good night's sleep tonight and feel better in the morning.

  • Thanks @tosh24
It is boiling hot out, that's for sure. I'm fortunate enough to not have terrible nasal congestion (yet); just a killer sore throat, painful chest, coughing and wheezing. I'm a little concerned that I've been drinking a lot of herbal tea for my throat, but not going to the bathroom much... No fever, so it's odd. Baby must have planted off the bladder for the first time ever?

I had to read this 3 times before I remembered that you are in Canada and this is 40 C not 40 F, lol
  • @Mandamay1414 That does make quite the difference, doesn't it?
