Frozen grapes are also great in wine in lieu of ice if it's warm and you're too impatient like me to wait for it to chill
@SweetSweetTooth I too keep brushing my bump against stuff. Yesterday I went to sit at my dining room table and couldn't fit bc I didn't pull the chair out far enough. I've also grazed the car door against it more than once when closing it. Idk if I'll ever get used to my stomach being bigger than everything else.
@jellybelly114 I never got used to mine last time - it’s hard because it keeps getting bigger. You think you’re leaving enough space for it and it would have been 2 weeks ago, but not today. I now have small children bouncing their heads off mine - my kids, friend’s kids - it’s like a head magnet and they always look shocked that they walked into it, but it’s sticking out so far that they hit their heads before they get close enough to my legs to realize that I’m there (even if they saw me, I’m not sneaking up behind them.)
For the last several days, I’ve been trying to remember to text one of my friends that I hadn’t told yet that Maxwell was here.
I finally remembered it today- only to discover that I did in fact already tell her about Max the day after he was born. I’d blame the drugs, but I wasn’t on any...
Yesterday I had a meet up with a new group that I signed my kids up for. There were a couple new people, but most people already knew each other, so it was pretty obvious who I was when I walked up (I’m the only expectant mother new to the group).
”oh hi! You must be purplegoldfish2.” ”yes, I am!” ”hi, I’m Kelly” ”I’m purplegoldfish2. Oh, sorry, baby brain is bad this time.” ”i’m Jen” ”hi, I’m .... uh.... nice to meet you.”
Twice! I started to introduce myself to them twice AFTER I had already confirmed who I was. There wasn’t even a span of time between the introductions, just me making the best first impression I possibly could. Ugh!
I had started pumping this morning and was distracting myself with Bumping, when I felt a splash of liquid on my thigh. I had forgotten to attach one of the bottles.
Speaking of bottles and pumping- does anyone know where I put my extra pump parts? The hospital has decided to no longer provide the bottles I had been using, and I can’t find the ones that came with my pump anywhere! I know I put them somewhere for safe keeping.
