Re: Newbie Intro Thread w/o 8/13
TWs: Kid and previous pregnancy
Ages (you and SO): Mid-thirties
How many months have you been TTC?: 2
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs only right now. TW previous pregnancy: I did temping for about 5 months while ttc#1 and it synced up to OPKs so I stopped. I don’t think I’ll do temping again for a while.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): TW Kids/Previous pregnancy –
This is my second time around in TTGP, some things seem the same and others a bit different, sorry if I take a minute to get the TWs right, no spoiler boxes before. It was great to have a community to talk and learn about TTC, it seems to be all I think about time. I have one son, he is almost two. Not to many hobbies nowadays but I’m a bit of wine enthusiast and loved non-traditional board games. I moved from our hometown about five years ago and where I live now still doesn’t quite feel like home. I am a data analyst; I do secondary data analysis on medical claims files.
How many months have you been TTC?: not preventing for a year, really TTC 2 months
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Using Ovia and FF to track period, used OPKs this last cycle, plan to start temping next cycle if current one is unsuccessful
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): TTC our first. I’m a government attorney and my husband works in finance. We love traveling and good food & wine. Looking forward to being a part of this community!

How many months have you been TTC?: 6 total but this is our first cycle back after *TW* an ectopic
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs and checking CM to estimate fertile days, using FF to track it all, BDing goal of all fertile days
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): We have a 2 year old. My husband and I are both in corporate finance/business development. We’re excited to grow our family and I joined TB community because the TTC process has felt somewhat isolating after our loss earlier this year. I’m excited to get to know you ladies!
I have been off bcps for about 2 months and we have been ttc since my cycle came back about a month ago. It took a little while to get DD here so we understand that it can take a while and we’re realistically optimistic!
The goal is to BD every other fertile day at least and cervical checks as well as OPKs and tracking with FF.
I am a SAHM to our 18m/o daughter. We have a dog and she is dd’s best friend. DH is a mechanical engineer and we both enjoy hiking, traveling and binge watching tv series when the baby is in bed.
*TW* we had two losses in the 2 years it took to get DD here so I am nervous to begin this new ttc journey but I am also very excited to get to know you ladies, I’ve alwahs had a place in my heart for the Bump community.
Ages (you and SO): Me 30, Hubs 30
How many months have you been TTC?: 4 months TTC#1
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: OPKs, charting temp with FF, prenatal vitamins and vitamin C to hopefully extend my short luteal phase (8 days). DH doesn't want to schedule BDing so I keep it to myself and he goes with it.
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I work as a physical therapist and DH is an engineer. We have 1 fur baby who is 3 years old. I joined the bump community a month or so ago but I have been mostly lurking until now. We both like to play rec sports and binge on TV. @LivingLaVidaGinger we also love the handmaids tale.TW

welcome! We had a 25 weeker in the NICU as well.

How many months have you been TTC?: *TW* We were not using BC for 7 months and actively trying for 3 months. I got my BFP 6/9, diagnosed MMC on 7/24 at 9 weeks 4 days (their numbers. 11 weeks 4 days by my numbers). The baby didn’t develop past 6 weeks and 4 days. I chose to have a natural miscarriage and had the baby at the ER on 6/27 and had to have a follow up D&D on 8/2. I miscounted and we were sexually active during my fertile days. So we are back on the TTC wagon!
What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I am tracking my ovulation. It started out more as a way to see if my body was getting back to normal. Turns out... it is!
Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I am a home visitor for an Early Head Start program and a CASA. My passion is helping kids and making the world a better place I love to travel! But I am satisfied dedicating the rest of my life to raising babies. I’ve been enough places, lol. Now I just need the babies!
Hi all! I’m looking forward to getting to know you
