    @ottergirl81

    welcome! We had a 25 weeker in the NICU as well.

    *TW*

    But sadly he passed away after 26 days. Micro-preemies in the NICU are such little fighters! Do they know why your little girl was born so early? How long was her stay there?

    I am sure the anxiety of the NICU is in the back of your mind TTC this time. I swear I still hear the alarms late at night.

    Hoping this next time is smooth sailing for you!

    How many months have you been TTC?: just starting out

    What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Went off the birth control pill, planning to start BBT, & reading a gazillion articles online

    Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.):  No kids yet.  Big thanks to everybody who has shared so much here - your stories have already had an impact on me!

    How many months have you been TTC?: About to start

    What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: Quit the pill, taking prenatal vites, consulting with an OB, getting in annual medical/dental appointments, and starting to educate myself about conception.

    Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): Two cats, two dogs. Public interest lawyer. I love literary fiction and the literary scene generally. Writing. Visiting art museums. Been getting into skydiving lately, with some tandem jumps and early cert coursework. Gonna have to press pause on that soon, but hopefully not for good. Looking forward to exploring this board and learning about our journey ahead!

    Ages (you and SO): I am 32, SO is 39

    How many months have you been TTC?: *TW* We were not using BC for 7 months and actively trying for 3 months. I got my BFP 6/9, diagnosed MMC on 7/24 at 9 weeks 4 days (their numbers. 11 weeks 4 days by my numbers). The baby didn’t develop past 6 weeks and 4 days. I chose to have a natural miscarriage and had the baby at the ER on 6/27 and had to have a follow up D&D on 8/2. I miscounted and we were sexually active during my fertile days. So we are back on the TTC wagon!

    What are you doing to get knocked up (WAYDTGKU)?: I am tracking my ovulation. It started out more as a way to see if my body was getting back to normal. Turns out... it is!

    Tell us about yourself! (Kids, pets, job, hobbies, etc.): I am a home visitor for an Early Head Start program and a CASA. My passion is helping kids and making the world a better place :) I love to travel! But I am satisfied dedicating the rest of my life to raising babies. I’ve been enough places, lol. Now I just need the babies!

    Hi all! I’m looking forward to getting to know you :)
