FX for all the new transfers and getting good beta results!
AFM - had a lining check this morning and I'm at 8 but i guess the blood work didn't look the way they wanted so no date set for me yet. I go back in Thursday for another lining check and blood work. Continuing Estrace 3x a day. I was excited when I left hoping I would have a date early next week, but now it's just more waiting. I'm tired of waiting!! I'm hoping it will be late next week now, maybe 8/16 or 8/17. I hope so bc DH leaves for a business trip the following week. sigh....

becca07024411, they bill me all inclusive and that is figured in. I don't have to pay any extra for all of the monitoring. So I just go over there and do a few other things if I can while over there.
Okay, that makes sense. I think that is how my clinic does it except I can get a credit for what I don't use. Beta blood tests are covered by my insurance and since I had already met the max OOP (super easy with IVF and all ya know) I ended up not having to pay anything for going somewhere else, but I can totally see what you mean. But honestly, I totally would have paid cash to keep from having to drive several hours and take more vacation time!
How strict are all you ladies on the timing of your PIO shots? Our clinic says anytime between 7-9pm, but on Wednesday I'm going to Beyonce and and not looking forward to trying to find a family restroom and having a girlfriend give me the shot.

I have to do AM and PM shots. They leave the timing up to me they just have to be 12 hours apart. I unfortunately have done a couple of public restroom shots. There just isn’t a way around it sometimes.
My clinic left the time up to me and said to just be consistent, but didn't clarify what that meant. Can you do or yourself? Or just go the sink of a public restroom or at least the handicap stall and just ignore any weird looks? I've had to do them in the bathroom at the mall, at my car many times, and several other weird places and it never really ended up being a big deal. At first I thought it would be weird if someone saw, but then I just thought how many diabetics have to give themselves shots, so I figured it wouldn't be that much different than that.
@Rebelfirecpl That is great news! FX for you. @knottienj Sorry your bloodwork is causing you a delay. It's very frustrating. @madasm0530 You are on to me. See spoiler.
I've never done PIO so I can't be any help with that.

@sungirl39 Saw your post on medication costs; the IVF pharmacy near me services at least 3 clinics. 1 completely private, 1 is affiliated with a private university's medical center, and the last one is a public university's medical center. It was by completely chance that I ended up at the public university's medical center even though it was the farthest one away from me. Ironically there's a program out there to cover meds, I paid no more than $400 out of pocket for everything since the public university services a large population of patients without insurance therefore I qualified for some program that forces the pharma companies to subsidize meds. Talking to the pharmacist, if I was at the other two clinics, I would have been on the hook for thousands for my meds. Just an idea... I can call tomorrow to get the specific name of this program if you're interested.
@madasm0530 i have needed to change the time of my PIO injection a few times. My clinic advises to do the injection early rather than later than the original time given and then over the next day or so do the shot on a sliding scale time-wise until you are back to the original time for the injection. Their reasoning was as long as the first shot was given at the correct time then your uterus receptivity is not affected and everything going forward is about maintaining the prog level in your system. i hope this helps!
@Rebelfirecpl congrats! You may want to put this in in a spoiler and label it *tw* (trigger warning). As seeing such things can be very sensitive to many here that have not been as lucky.

@laurengon82 FOR REAL!!! Of course AF being late will probably push my FET schedule back a whole week so instead of the 8/21 it'll most likely be 8/28. It is what it is.
AFM, I am in some sort of cramping hell. It could definitely be gas but I am doubled over at my desk. I'll probably work from the home office soon so I can put on sweatpants and use a heating pad.

@thebabyshoes Wow, that would be amazing, thank you! I thought FETs would be so much less expensive than a full IVF cycle...but then my lining decided to not cooperate. I am in CA, not sure if the program is nationwide, but I would love to look into it!
@Rebelfirecpl A digital! Nice! I'm always scared to take those since they aren't as sensitive, that is awesome!
AFM, I triggered last night...I am going to be ovulating 20 eggs, I feel ok so far but not sure how tomorrow is going to go. The RE had me inject just 1/4 of my 10,000 HCG shot because of all the follicles and high estrogen levels, squirted the rest down the drain...such a waste. Kind of frustrated that they had me buy the 10,000 instead waiting to see if I was really going to need that much. I start the autoimmune meds tomorrow, along with getting my first intralipid infusion. Transfer will be Sunday or Monday depending on progesterone levels tomorrow morning.
@ndz2018 we seem to be on same schedule- my AF started Sunday- and my transfer is scheduled for the 27th! Fingers crossed everything works out for you this cycle!!!
AFM- I had my baseline this morning- waiting on update From nurse. Estrogen patches start tomorrow unless they change something. Getting anxious for the real deal!
@Rebelfirecpl I’m SO PUMPED for you!!! Congrats!!! Digital and everything!!!
I took a FRER yesterday (5dp5dt) and *think* I saw a shadow, but I might just have line eyes. I asked my husband to look without telling him anything and he said he saw a super faint line. I didn’t test today, but I’ll try again tomorrow. I had a lot of symptoms immediately after my transfer until about day 4, but no cramps or pulling or anything for the last couple of days.
I will say that I have had a lot of different symptoms this time. I am already sleeping in a bra because I hurt to move. I bought gas meds becasbe it was awful! I am cramping. I don't remwreme these with my son (fresh IVF) but I am not upset about them either. FX for all the upcoming betas and transfers still to come!
Well, I "accidentally" tested this afternoon at 5dp6dt
*TW*
I got a faint, but clearly there line on a wondfo. I ordered a bunch of FRER and Digi's but won't be here until Thursday!

AFM, transfer day was just moved up to Sunday...my progesterone level is at 24.5, I think that is why it got moved up. I have terrible cramps and bloating due to ovulation, trying to drink extra fluids. I started the lovenox and steroid today and went in for the intralipid IV infusion. It wasn't bad at all (minus the 1.5 hour drive to get there). You basically lie in a comfy chair in a room eating snacks and watching tv for two hours. The intralipids were a white milky color, not what I expected.
@sungirl39 no, we only transferred 1. I’m trying to remain sane because my wondfo on 5dpt was darker than the one I tested with this morning at 7dpt with FMU. I know, I know.. they aren’t qualitative and I should wait to test again until I get my FRERs and Digis in the mail today. IF

Hi, everyone! I'm scheduled to have my transfer next week (crossing my fingers I'm not delayed!) and thought I should return to the bump to help get me through this journey! Just a little bit about myself (**tw child mentioned**)- I first did a IVF almost 3 years ago and was extremely fortunate and had our baby girl our first try with a fresh transfer. We have 2 embryos from that round and will be transferring them next week. My husband has cystic fibrosis and was born without a vas Deferens (98% of men with the disease are infertile). We're really hoping that some how we're lucky enough that this transfer will work and we can avoid another round of sperm extraction surgery and IVF!
I just had my first ultrasound yesterday and it looks like my lining is doing great, but my estrogen is low. They've added oral estrace so I'm hoping that'll get it up to where it is needed. Hopefully this won't delay my cycle any and I'll be PUPO by the end of next week! Oh, and we just moved two months ago and I'll be flying out of state to do my transfer! I'm really nervous that I'm not seeing my doctor until the transfer- has anyone here ever done monitoring at a different clinic?
Good luck to the rest of you, and congrats to those with BFPs already! I'll be reading through old posts today and will try to catch up with how you ladies are doing!
