People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

WAYDTGKU: Flo app, eating healthy, HIO, limiting caffeine
R/R: Rave: AF is gone! BD shall begin tonight. I am going to do EOD since I have no real sense of when I O, but I don't want to wear us out. I use the Flo app, but I am worried that AF being shorter will throw everything off. Rant: My friggin' dog would not listen this morning. She use to follow me and come when I called her. Not for the past few days. She does not want to come and she took off on MH into the road. We are going to have to put her back on a leash. We don't live in a busy area, but if she isn't going to listen we can't risk it.
CS/Q: -
@suzycupcake I love the gif!
CD: 3
WAYDTGKU: BBT, Ava (RHR), OPK, Pre-Seed, Myo-Inositol (trying Pregnitude this time), HSG scheduled next week.
R/R: It's Wednesday! Half way there. This week hasn't necessarily been difficult, but I could just use the weekend.
CS/Q: nope.
@meri-mac my yorkie, Tank, ran off into the road this weekend at my in-laws and a car was coming. It was terrifying for the 2 seconds until he turned around and came back. He's usually pretty good and we only take him out front there because he's afraid of my in-laws boxer puppy. But yay for end of AF! I haven't decided what we are going to do yet this cycle. I'm kind of enjoying the break from BDing that we've had. I may wait till after my HSG to even start BDing.
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: HIO, temping/charting, OPKs, checking CM (question below re: CM)
R/R: Rant: Somehow all my alarms AND my husband's alarms got turned off so we woke up late. On top of that, huge accident so I got stuck in traffic. Tried avoid traffic and got stopped by a train. Rave: Despite the late wake-up, we still DTD
CS/Q: this is slightly icky, so I'll put it in spoilers.
Month/Cycle: 12/9

WAYDTGKU: All the same as yesterday
R/R: Today is looking to be beautiful weather wise. Hot but not humid. And I got all caught up at work yesterday so things should be a little more go with the flow today.
CS/Q: Breifly thought today was O day based on temp but RHR has not gone up and that always does. Tomorrow perhaps.
@prpl11butterfly weather is gorgeous here too today - I'm hoping by the time we all get out of work it's still as lovely.
CD: 6
WAYDTGKU: All the things.
R/R: Similar to @meri-mac, AF is gone and HIO shall begin tonight. Not even sure if that is a rant or a rave anymore.
CS/Q: Nope. Resumed temping this morning, however, I forgot when I woke up (which I will take as a pat on the back for being able to forget), so I technically took it standing while trying to pretend like I was still sleeping, lol. The temp was in line with my usual temps for this time of my cycle, so I still recorded it *insert shrug emoji*.
CD: 24
WAYDTGKU: Acupuncture, BBT, PCOS Diet, Supplements
R/R: My right ear was killing me last night, so I went to CareNow. Apparently this was something I just couldn't kick on my own. They said it wasn't an outer ear infection, but likely a Eustachian tube inflammation. So they gave me a steroid shot and two prescriptions. I feel SO much better this morning after that.
CS/Q: Pretty sure I am back over here now. I think my temps really were elevated because I was sick. I had some watery CM the past couple of days that I thought was just because I was taking Mucinex. Then I woke up with sore nipples which is my usual O sign. I took an OPK just because and it was super positive and the digital was peak. My temp also dropped almost a whole degree.
@prpl11butterfly My dog, Ellie, tends to wander into other people's yards as well. We all know each other on our lane and noone has said they mind. She doesn't destroy anything; she just uses it as her own personal path
@Sparty18 Woot for AF leaving town! The HIO can feel like a chore sometimes. I hope you get the Rave feeling back. Fx this is your month
@sparklingdiamond Sorry you are over here, friend
@thrgirlwhowaited I hear you girl! Bring on the weekend.
@MRDCle Sorry for the bad luck getting into work. Hope that it only improves for you today.
@prpl11butterfly Well done getting all caught up at work!
@Sparty18 Haha that made me laugh. Standing and pretending to sleep. I am sure your bbt had no idea.
@sparklingdiamond Aww that sound horrible. So glad that you are feeling better now.

WAYDTGKU: pnv, supplements, hio, opk, uqiquinol
R/R: I had my hair cut yesterday and I am so, so happy with it. It has been so dry and damaged lately and it has been upsetting me so. She did a treatment on it and it is like I have my old hair back! I love it!
It is rainy and gross out today. boo
CS/Q:
@MRDCle Sorry for the rough start to the morning. Hopefully your days gets better!
@Sparty18 Ha I probably would have done the same thing!
@nitnat007 I really need to get my hair done as well. I always feel so much better afterwards. It's been months for me...
@thrgirlwhowaited Yay for hump day!
@MRDCle If you HIO at night, try checking CM a few hours after you get up. Semen also smells slightly bleach like, so if you're not sure, you could try sniffing it.
@prpl11butterfly Hope that O day is soon for you. Has your timing been good this cycle?
@sparklingdiamond That ear infection sounds awful! Glad you're feeling better now.
Month/Cycle: 3/3

WAYDTGKU: Prenatals, BBT, CM, will start OPKs tomorrow maybe
R/R: My life has been so stressful lately with my sister's wedding coming up in 4 weeks and work having a bunch of deadlines. I'm afraid it's going to make me O late. Last night I drank tea which helped and then MH kept telling me to repeat "not my monkeys, not my circus." lol
CS/Q:
Edited to add chart and because if cut off some of my rant
Month/Cycle: 4/4 (+3 benched)
CD: 11
WAYDTGKU: OPKs, BBT, tracking on Ovia and FF, PNVs, limiting caffeine
R/R: Rave: Getting ready to go on a road trip for the next week to see one of my best friends for her birthday!
Rant: Of course O lines up exactly with our trip so it's going to be a little harder to BD on demand. My friends birthday party is Saturday night and I'm supposed to O on Sunday so I need to leave early enough that we aren't too tired. We also decided to stay in a hotel instead of with my friend so we could BD whenever I get a peak OPK. It's making the trip more stressful and we are spending more money on hotels than we probably should. I keep using my OPK hoping I get a peak a couple days early so we can just get it done before we leave, but it isn't looking likely.
CS/Q: none
CD: 16
WAYDTGKU: PNVs, Charting, HIO, OPKs, Preseed
R/R: Rant: Is there any such thing as TMI anymore? LOL. My DH and I had to HIO this morning at 3:45a before he went to work because I know doing it later would be impossible due to whatever my pain issue is. I'm glad we got it in though! Rave: Feeling optimistic this cycle. Hoping it sticks around!
CS/Q: Nothing interesting to see. I should be Oing today
@crookshanks10 fx you O today!
@MRDCle I hate when days start that way. I asked the same question last month and EWCM will ball and stretch and seman won’t
@sparklingdiamond I hope you continue to feel better.
@nitnat007 YAY for fresh hair. That always helps me feel so much better.
@marebear15 sorry things are so stressful I hope they chill soon.

@meri-mac good riddance, AF!
@thrgirlwhowaited I love that your yorkie's name is Tank. Does his name have anything to do with the show Life in Pieces? We had to stop watching it last season when the storyline included TTC & IF. Too many triggers.
@sparty18 this isn't just a question for you but your comment made me think of it... for those who don't have a physical HIO schedule, how do you bring it up with YH? Like so far it's worked for us that I just initiate and he plays along. Still attempting to keep the romance alive and I just can't think of any smooth way of saying "I've stopped bleeding so let's get it on" without bringing up the words "make a baby" so he doesn't get performance anxiety lol.
@sparklingdiamond sorry to see you back here, but glad you got some treatment for your ear infection. I hope that helps and you're on the mend now.
@nitnat007 yay for haircuts! and from yesterday's thread, paint is so expensive, especially for the good stuff. And it's so hard to judge how much you'll need. We ended up with way too much of one colour and not nearly enough of another.
@marebear15 YH is right, although letting things go is always easier said than done. I hope you can find some time to de-stress soon before things get even crazier as you get closer to the actual wedding.

@crookshanks10 I don't think there is a whole lot off limits when it comes to TTC, lol. My SO thinks it's weird that I so openly talk about our sex life with a bunch of women I don't know, but I guess it's hard for him to understand that the beautiful thing about this community is that we don't feel like complete strangers. We know intimate details about each others' lives and the TTC support I've received on here is more than I could ask of any of my friends who aren't in the same places in their lives. 3:45a BD is some serious commitment. WTG!
@kindbytealikat *waves* I feel the same way today.

R/R: I felt so energetic yesterday after we got everything moved on the weekend. Today I feel like I was hit by a truck. Counting down the minutes til I can go home.
CS/Q: I fell asleep twice trying to temp this morning so I ended up doing it 3 times because I couldn't remember if I actually turned on the thermo before I inserted it. Pretty sure the 3rd time that I recorded is higher as a result. My RHR seems to be a good indicator for wonky BBT.

I ordered a L thinking I'd be KU by October, but if I get pregnant this month I'll only be 3 months along by the wedding (which would not be a huge bodily change). A Medium would fit me perfectly right now and I wouldn't have to spend as much on alterations. I think I'm running out of time to be able to return the Large. WWYD?
CS/Q: Nothing interesting going on with the chart today.
Some responses from yesterday's thread:
@kiki047 ugh that must be frustrating with your mom saying you *must* be hyper fertile because she was. And your poor SO! I know in many couples it just takes longer and its no one's fault!
@crookshanks10 um liquid cheese is basically my kryptonite. SO GOOD. I actually do have fun plans for my bday for once! I'm going to Benihana with the fam on Friday (actual bday) and then I'm meeting bestie at Six Flags on Saturday! She and I haven't lived within driving distance of each other in 13 years and we used to go to Six Flags a lot (just the two of us) when she would spend summers with her dad when we were in college (he lived within driving distance of my college). So I'm super excited! I haven't been to 6 Flags in about 7 years!
@nitnat007 ugh "helpful" articles would drive me crazy! I don't think my mom would do that, but she definitely doesn't get it.
@lulu1180 I don't really need Preseed as a CM replacement, we just use some lube for my comfort during sex and to "get things going" so to speak. So we never really used more than a few drops of astrogide, which I doubt was terribly detrimental to the swim team, but I'm making the switch just in case! We just use preseed as a lube replacement. I hate it because it is not slippery like real lube
Now for today!
@meri-mac my AF was shorter this month too! I'm considering starting OPKs today because I'm afraid everything is all thrown off this month as well.
@MRDCle sorry for the late start today!
@sparty18 I've found that I've been able to "forget" to temp after rolling around in bed a bit right after waking up and it's usually not too crazy if it's only been a few minutes!
@sparklingdiamond sorry for the confusing cycle! FX today is O day!
@marebear15 I O'd late the cycle I had to go to a bachelorette party so it's definitely possible to be stressed from other people's circuses. FX thins stay normal for you, though!
@abundantlilacs I'm in the same boat. MH is leaving for a bachelor party next weekend, and I'm hoping so hard that I O before he leaves. There's a small chance I'll O late and we'll have bad timing, but I really hope it won't be the case!
@crookshanks10 nice job on the early morning!

@meri-mac – Byebye AF! Let the BD commence! Also, sorry your dog is being a butthole. Mine likes to also go through random periods of pretending she can’t hear us.
@thrgirlwhowaited – Nothing wrong with a BD break! I think it helps to shake things off when the TTC stuff feels too hard.
@MRDCle – Way to stay committed! Also, re: CM, I haven’t tried the trick of the kegels to get rid of “extra” but I find that after about 12 hours, I can trust what I check. Also, EWCM will hold up in water whereas the “extra” will dissolve.
@prpl11butterfly – Enjoy the beautiful weather today! It’s gorgeous here!
I’m so new to hearing about this RHR stuff, it’s so
interesting!
@sparty18 – Not many things are as fun and as much of a hassle at the same time as BD marathons!
@sparklingdiamond – Pretty sure today or tomorrow will be O for you!
@nitnat007 – New pretty hair always puts me in the best mood!
@marebear15 – Wedding are SO stressful, even when they’re not yours!! Just keep repeating that motto!
@abdundantlilacs – I hate when plans throw off BD plans. I hope you make it work anyway!
@crookshanks10 – That is DEDICATION! Holy moly! I hope your efforts are rewarded!
@kiki047 - I have fallen asleep so many times while temping. I’m glad you have another data point with the RHR!
@chichiphin – I’m curious about what your dr. said about your concerns about your 9 day LP?
@general_organa – I would order the medium, also it’s beautiful!

WAYDTGKU: All. The. Things.
R/R: I think O day for me will be either tonight or tomorrow. Just gotta BD a few more times and I'll feel like we did all we could do.
CS/Q: My wondfo OPKs never get SUPER positive. They get mostly as dark as the control line but not darker. But I still O...Anyone else have that happen?
@meri-mac YAY for AF leaving the building!
I wanted a coffee so bad but I
didn't give in! Limiting caffeine is super hard!
@thegirlwhowaited I want to know who determined a 5 day work week and only a 2 day weekend!
@MRDCle I'm glad that ya'll were able to HIO!
@prpl11butterfly We're having wonderful weather too! Which I'm so happy about because it's way better than miserably hot!
@Sparty18 Haha your temping event sounds like something I'd do! This morning when I did it at 3:00am I for whatever reason took it out mid temperature taking. Woops.
@sparklingdiamond I'm glad you're feeling better! Ear stuff can really make you feel terrible!!
@nitnat007 I wish you could have some of our weather! But woohoo for a new hair cut yesterday!
@marebear15 Sorry things have been stressful. I hope you can find some time to relax!
@abundantlilacs That was smart thinking going ahead and getting a hotel room! I swear, trying to line up the HIO timeline with all events/trips is stressful!
@kindbytealikat Going strong with the EOD.. fx for you!
@kiki047 Thank you! I figure if it doesn't work this cycle, at least we know we did absolutely everything we could! I suppose to our DHs it really is weird but this is the only forum we have to be 100% open and 100% honest about how we're feeling and you're right, it's SO nice to know you just aren't alone in this. I'm not sure what I'd do without everyone here!
@chichiphin I'm glad your preconception apt went well! It makes all the difference when the doctor actually takes time to listen and isn't just rushing
@general_organa I hope you have so much fun at six flags and a great birthday!! I would probably go with a medium dress if it were me!
@MRDCle You could just wait until your more dried up. And do the smell/balled up tests.
@kiki047 I normally just initiate by seducing, or saying something simply like, wanna do it tonight? Most of the time, he's the one that initiates anyways.
@general_organa I'd return the L and get the M while you still can. Like you said, you'd only be 3 months along and that's not a lot of body changes.
@literatureandink Do you test twice a day? Some people can get 12 hour LH surges, so maybe you are just missing yours?
@marebear15 FX that the stress doesn't delay O for you.
@crookshanks10 HAha good for you guys!
@kiki047 Hope the time passes quickly for you.
@chichiphin Good news! Glad you were happy with your doctor.
@general_organa I agree with the other ladies, go with the medium. It is a gorgeous dress!
chichiphin at least she engaged your concerns and you feel you got something out of the appointment.
general_organa I'd exchange for what fits you now. Even if you are 3 months you may not be showing that much for it to change how the dress fits drastically enough to need the large. Especially with how flowy it is.
literatureandink I'm almost considering taking this month off, but everyone keeps saying that after the HSG is a good time/cycle to try. So we may a little, but I think I need a step back from over analyzing when we should BD. I use the same OPKs and sometimes mine are as dark and sometimes not quite. I just chalk it up to my timing of when I take it compared to when the surge is happening. I count almost as dark as close enough and then confirm with getting a negative the next day.
crookshanks10 I'm with you! I need a three day weekend regularly! Also, I know your caffeine struggles. I went from multiple cups a day to 1 a week! I sleep better now though so there's that. My one per week is my little treat to myself. I do allow myself to have iced tea during the day though. I think what made it easy for me was that I put sugar in my coffee so I told myself I can't have the sugar and I don't want black coffee. I can manage tea without sugar. Good luck!
@general_organa I agree with doing the medium
