@SawyerRichardson hahaha I’m glad someone else dared to share their fart issues. I finally decided to mention farting symptoms a little earlier today in this discussion and no one else commiserated so I thought I was the only one having this issue, or I crossed into territory too uncomfortable for everyone else.
I suspect, especially given the follow-up comments, that your issue was so common as to be unremarkable...
Sort of like most of us are dealing with some level of heartburn, but unless you have a tale like “Dude- the stomach acid came up and burned DH’s penis in the middle of a BJ”, we are probably just going to love it to your comment and move on.
(Speaking of which- I pulled that story out of the ether, but if anyone is holding out on us....)
@knottieamusements If that ever happened, I don't think I could make it 5 minutes before I jumped on here like "Oh my God guys, guess what just happened.."
@knottieamusements on a some what related note I accidentally puked during a BJ once. Was a littlw tipsy nd my ex gave me orange juice and it didn't agree with me. Poor guy didn't see it coming! It was early in our 3 year relationship so I guess it wasn't that bad!

Not feeling so hot this morning, not sure if its because I got up too early, had to big of a bowl of cereal, or just feeling yucky in general. Hoping it goes away soon
Woke up this morning and wiped brown discharge! There was nothing red and it wasn’t in my panties. In my next bathroom break it was pretty much gone. I called the midwife but they aren’t in office today. Of course, they’re always on call if I page but I don’t feel like it’s an emergency, just need some reassurance.
I'm still feeling baby regularly and I had a bit of traumatic day yesterday, for me at least. My husband took me to see a production of Rocky Horror a few hours away and in our nice dinner before the show a woman slammed the bathroom door on my finger. I was crying uncontrollably. I’ve found with the hormones when I start crying it’s hard to stop. Finger is bruised but seems okay. I also have a lowish placenta (2.1cm from cervix) so I read bleeding a bit can be normal. I’m going to take it easy today and hope for the best!
@jenchoo keep an eye on it, but brown discharge isn’t usually a concern, unless it starts being true red or in large amounts. Also if you’ve had sex in the past 24-48 hours that’s a pretty common reason to have some spotting/brown discharge.
Thanks for the advice everyone. Since posting I have found some brown spots on my underwear. It definitely isn’t fresh blood and not a lot but I decided to take it easy today. I usually get about 12000 steps and today I got 1000 and watched a ton of Netflix. I’m feeling pretty blah but I think it’s from worry and not getting as much exercise as usual. Because I had so much downtime I could feel baby kicking all day long so that’s reassuring. I’m going to be at the hospital all day tomorrow for prenatal class with the hubby so I’ll ask them if the spotting doesn’t go away. Still hoping it’s nothing to be worried about!
@jenchoo hope the spotting stops and is no big deal!
My skin has still been pretty sensitive and itchy lately, and random rubbing from my clothes on my bump is making my skin red and splotchy. I tried moisturizing my skin more, but it doesn’t seem to really do much. Also just generally feel huge and stretched lately.
I walked to the taco truck near the studio today, and had a couple of intense cramps (maybe braxton-hicks?) on the walk back. I wasn't walking fast and my apple watch didn't even register much of it at "exercise," but it was warm and I probably hadn't had as much fluid as I usually do because I forgot to bring a second drink to work.
Anyway, I felt fine after sitting down for 15 mins and eating my tacos and drinking my Jarritos. Energized, even. I worked another couple hours (all sitting) and felt fine. Halfway through my 3-block walk to the car, my lower back spasmed out of nowhere. I was in tears by the time I got to the car and sitting wasn't any better.
I've been trying to self-massage (fella is out of town for a wedding) and relax, but it's still pretty bad, especially if I try to take a deep breath. I don't think I've moved in 2+ hours.
Fella told me to try to book a massage for this weekend, because starting Tuesday, I have two weeks straight of planes and photography, both of which are normally hard on my back, much less when it's already hurting and I'm, you know, growing a human. We usually only get massages as vacation treats, so I don't have a regular person or anything. I've spent over an hour researching online tonight, but of course no one is open, so I can't start calling to beg someone to take me until tomorrow. Phone calls make me so anxious.
I rarely say this, but I'm not sure the tacos were worth it.
@melbo444 I get those pains when I walk for more than 5 mins these days too. My OB said it is from the weight of the baby stretching our ligaments and hips. She said to make sure I drink enough and do stretches. Hopefully you are experiencing the same and nothing to worry about. A massage sounds great!

So I failed my GD screen pretty badly at 174. And I show low red blood cell, hemaglobin and hematocrit. Which makes me worry that I'm anemic, and I have no idea what that will mean for me during pregnancy. It probably explains why I feel so crappy.
@sammierose464 Sorry to hear that, that sucks! Do you have to do the 3 hour one now (I can’t rememeber exactly if this was your 1hr or 3)? Hopefully your doctor will be able to give you some good next steps so you can manage it and start feeling better. More iron may help your rbcs and hemoglobin, but I will be interested to see what your doctor recommends!
I did the 1hour yesterday and see my Dr on Wednesday, so we will see what he says. I almost would rather go right to modifing my diet, but I know they probably need to do the 3hr to see the full results. So not looking forward to that.
Curious what the Dr will do about the low RBC. I have been taking guys prenatals, so they don't have iron in them.
I'm so not looking forward to the 3 hr. I'll probably try and do it next Saturday unless my Dr says otherwise this week. Which means I'm going to take it the same day we have DHs big motorcycle party.
@chyvie I did it well when I was first diagnosed with PCOS. So hopefully it'll be okay this time.
DH and I walked around main street for a little over an hour and a half. My back is killing me, I'm in bed now trying to get as comfy as I can. Also it was still on the warm side so I sweat just enough to get the thigh rub.. there's no way I'm getting a decent night sleep tonight..
At my appointment on Friday Dr said there was a Cerebellum cyst on the baby's head. It can be benign, an infection or maybe cancer. They will need a more advanced ultrasound to tell what is it or where exactly it is and I'd have to go to Lincoln or Denver to get that done. I'm having a follow up ultrasound (they didn't get all the pictures they needed) here in town, hopefully this next week and they'll check on it. I wanted to wait till after that to decide whether we'll go for the extra ultrasound. Dr also said there are no other warning signs that it is anything serious, but wouldn't know without the more detailed ultrasound. I hadn't really told anyone about it, and hadn't been super worried, but DH did tell some. I guess I was waiting for the follow up (small) ultrasound to get worried? Other people all kinda acted worried about it, so now I'm feeling more freaked out.
@coffee-saur - Worrying before you need to is sometimes called “borrowing trouble.” Some people do it, others don’t. Also, in the grand scheme of things, you have a lot more on your mind to worry about as you go through this than your H (and whoever he told), so he might have just found something to focus on.
I’ll keep you and your baby in our thoughts and hope the spot is benign and resolves quickly.
@coffee-saur if you are in a good non worrying place right now, try to hold onto it! It sounds much too early to get worried and the next step (follow up test) will bring more clarity. Your reaction makes sense to me.
@sammierose464 I have been anemic, off and on, for most of my adult life. If you haven't taken an iron supplement before, I recommend the Blood Builders brand if your doc approves it. Iron can be super constipating especially at first, and it's a rough time to add something like that for us! But I did well with adding Blood Builders to my prenatal.
@coffeesaur You have enough to worry about with your mom! It sounds like you’re handling this very well. Don’t let other people freak you out. If you end up going to Denver and need extra support or someone to watch your kiddos in the waiting room so your man can be with you I’d be happy to run up there!
@coffee-saur I agree with PP. You have enough going on, If you are currently doing well maintaining a some-what worry-free attitude, try and maintain that. It's a good sign that your dr isn't overly concerned right now.
@coffee-saur Until you have all the facts there is nothing to worry about, especially if your Dr. isn't. Glad you are taking that approach. Less stress equals a healthier mom and baby! You have enough on your plate with your mom. Which how is she doing now?

@coffee-saur Thinking of you and your little one! I hope it’s nothing serious and you get some answers with the follow-up ultrasound. Like others have said, it’s better for you and baby to do your best to not worry/stress yet (but for me that is always way easier said than done!).
@coffee-saur worrying before you have a reason to is just adding stress with no benefit. Hopefully your next ultrasound is clear, and you won’t have bothered getting worked up over nothing!
Thanks ladies I guess I'm not a big worrier, or my mind is busy enough, that it doesn't have time to think about it! My mom is doing as well as normal. She usually snaps out of the seizures and is back to her day to day life fairly quickly. So far no more car wash fiascos! I was nervous about asking if she'd come stay with the kids while I had my Dr appt Friday, but my sis thought she'd do fine. The kids brought books for her to read to them and when I got back, they were all right where they'd been when I left my mom has definitely taught them a love of books and reading!
@coffee-saur like others have said, try not to worry until you know more information, and hopefully it will be nothing to worry about!
@sammierose464 sorry about your glucose test! When I did mine last week, they found my hematocrit and red cells were low also, so they want me to start on an iron supplement (even though my prenatal does already contain iron). I need to go buy a supplement now, but I’m hoping it doesn’t wreak havoc on my digestion/bowel movements!
DH is definitely more of a worrier than me, and he only told family and close friends and I did too. The response was all that they'd keep us in their prayers, so it's all good.
Acid reflux is in full swing today. Also I think ive been bruising more easily lately. Noticing more bruises than normal from my dogs scratching me accidentally and from a blood draw last week. Those blood results showed my blood count to be normal. I assume this just has to do with the increased blood volume during pregnancy.
