@coffee-said not much to add from pp but I'm glad you're taking the approach you are, you will all be in my prayers. Also glad your mom is doing well!!
Has anyone’s doctors told them to take anything for reflux? I’ll be asking next week. If I stand up my pelvis hurts. If I lay down I almost vomit from reflux. Can I just get an antigravity booth?
@HoosOnFirst for heartburn/indigestion my OB OK’ed: Gaviscon, Maalox, Mylanta, Pepcid, Rolaids, Tums, Zantac. If nothing OTC works ask your doc about Protonix. I took it daily with both DD and DS and it was a lifesaver for my heartburn.
I take Losec. It’s been a huge game changer. Zantac helped me with heartburn, but I’d still get reflux. With the Losec I have had zero heartburn or reflux since 19 weeks when I started it.
@spartan4life just be careful as you can only take a certain amount of time during pregnacy. I was exceeding the limits and still in discomfort. You also need to take it with 2 hrs on either side of your prenatal especially iron supplements.

Add me to the low iron camp with @pumpkinpancake and @sammierose464. I would recommend taking the iron every other day for the first few days before bumping it up to every day. Seems to have helped my gut adjust to it without the constipation issue.
Thanks @chyvie! I usually take Tums around lunch time and then again before bed. I take my prenatals in the morning with breakfast. I did ask my doctor at my last appointment if I could take too many and she said two or three times a day is just fine, but interesting that she didn't mention anything about the prenatals (maybe because I take a prenatal without iron?).
@krzyriver it's only calcium based antacids I believe. OB explained there is an interaction with the calcium and not allowing the iron to be absorbed properly

I think I have a few tiny skin tags around my areolas!? And one on my nipple!! Whyyyyy body?! Why the titties
there are bumps on and around your nipples that are actually glands that secret oil of some sort and they tend to grow noticeably larger when you are pregnant/breastfeeding. they serve a purpose (and have a name) but i will have to consult dr. google to remember those. so possibly that is what you are seeing? not that skin tags aren't a possibility too, but just a thought i had.
@halfanewt - my Feet and hands are swelling in the heat. There was a conversation about a month ago about silicon rings, and those have been a lifesaver for me. I can’t wait to get back to wearing my rings!!!
@KFrob that made me LOL! That is the best way to describe what has been happening lately. DH has told me a few times that I snore now at night. Never used to be one to snore but damn sinuses and sore ribs.
+1 for team low iron. @sammierose464@quiltandknit@pumpkinpancake At my appointment on Tuesday doc says, “good news, you passed your glucose test, but you’re boarder line anemic so you either need more red meat and leafy green veggies or an iron supplement.” I’ve only taken it 2x and am still pooping for now. If it seems to be impacting me I might take it every other day. It has 361% of the daily iron needs and I already have iron in my prenatal vitamin at 150%.

Interesting! I notice i get white spots that seem like white heads.
ok this sciatic issue is getting really annoying! I have never experience this before. My entire left hip and leg is pins and needles. It's only if I sit too long and lay down on my back propped up. Any good ways of helping with it? I'm trying to stretch it.

@cdepperschmidt Must be why I want red meat a lot more than usual this pregnancy. I eat it fairly frequently though.
