I tried searching to see if this group has made a to do list yet and couldn't find one. So I thought I would start one, if I missed it, please disregard this discussion.
Here is my To Do List:
Go shopping/order items from registry
Pack hospital bag
Install car seat
Set up and clean bassinet/rock n play/ baby mat
Call for carpet cleaners
Call for deep house cleaning (after carpet cleaners)
Have Dr sign STD insurance paperwork
Write DD birthday thank you notes
Clean and make room for bottles in cabinets
Sort and clean DD clothes that can be used for this baby boy
I know there's more things that I need to do, but that's all I can think of right now.
Looking forward to seeing what everyone else has to do and I might have to add those to my list.

I do need to wash everything but am holding off until 36/37 weeks, and will likely install the car seat, set up the swing, and pull out all the gear around then too.
Once I’m on mat leave I plan to do most of the getting ready - my baby’s tend to hang in there way past their due dates so I’m not too worried about having stuff done early.
-alternately just burn it down.
- Order Breast Pump
1. Move guest room downstairs
2. Move DS to old guest room (and all that entails - painting the room, for one)
3. Re-organize baby room - dig out newborn clothes, restock essentials, etc
4. Buy stuff - double stroller, noise machine, second monitor camera, random odds and ends
5. Freezer meals - at least 4
6. Hospital bag sometime in September
7. Install car seat

-clean out my end table
-make appointments for PPD/A check in with my psychiatrist (every 2 weeks starting in mid-October, for at least 2 months)
Pre-birth to do list:
Baby supply list:
Disclaimer: Both of these are updated constantly and have probably been updated a few times since I originally made them.
That being said, after all the work I put into these lists...I'm currently pretending that they don't exist and that my due date is not steadily and rapidly getting closer and closer
Dandelion - October 2018
Angel "Aurora" - July 2020
Angel "Sawyer" - May 2021
Angel "Maxine" - January 2022
Angel "Violet" - March 2022
Baby Dove due March 2023
Get shit done.
But really, if you have a car seat, some
clothes and a safe sleep space you’re good to go.
I have no idea what I need to do. We have the car seat ready (but not installed yet), and some clothes. DH and FIL are hopefully finishing his room this weekend so then we can start furniture setup. Other than that...I have no clue! I’m going to try to put something together and use you all as my inspiration...we’ll see how it goes. I’m usually so organized but this is all so new...
My to-do list is actually waaay longer than what I put above. I always have a running to-do list (not just baby related stuff), and as I think of things to add to it, I do.
Mostly though, I agree with @cdepperschmidt’s comment that as long as food, clothing and shelter are taken care of the rest will sort out. I just want as little to sort out after Blast arrives as possible.
I have been doing research on strollers and car seat (have one picked out but not sure if I want to do new or used- leaning towards new albeit pricier) and checking FB marketplace for a crib and dresser. These lists are making me anxious though... 3 months!!
@tlmill speaking of wine, a month before my BFP we brought back 6 delicious wines from a wine tasting in Portugal and I was being so stubborn about opening them
I joke with my SO about that being the first thing I want once we get home with the baby- wonder how many sips I’ll need to feel tipsy haha
ETA: I realize by saying need it sounds like I have a problem, so I added quotes. If I don’t get to have any, I’ll be a little bummed, but it won’t be the end of the world or anything.
Also @laurasauruss totally in the same boat with you. DH and I bought a case of wine while on our anniversary trip (which is where/when we conceived) so now I have a full rack of wine waiting to be opened once this baby pops out! All of my mom friends said after 2 sips post-baby they were toasty so I'm guessing this stash will last a while haha
Party at my place after we all pop these kids out?
Baby
Birth/Hospital
Cleaning
Crafting
Baby Shower
After Birth
My list should be much longer but I have:
-Move into new Apt this week
-Furnish said apartment
-Order breast pump
-Update birth plan
-PRAY everything goes well!
