R/R: AF is gone so I was trying to get something going with DH this morning but it didn't work out.  To use SMEP timing we have to start Sunday so no harm no foul I suppose but it's a nice way to start a Friday. Office is hopefully quiet today so I'm hoping to be extra productive!

    CS/Q: not today!

    @nitnat007 happy Friday!
@TJtheGoat that's an impressive lunch break lol
@chichiphin WFH is the best - enjoy your RHONY!

  • @MRDCle for SMEP - I'm reading and it seems to be based off of the traditional 28 day, 14 day O cycle. Is the general idea to HIO every other day about 8 days prior to the known O day? For example, my O day is 20-22 ish. So wi wouldn't start HIO day 8 would I?

R/R: I’ve been babysitting for a friend all week (9 hours a day while her H is at work). It’s been fun to sort of play house all week so it’s a little bittersweet that today is the last day. I have a lot of experience babysitting but haven’t had the opportunity recently.

CS/Q: I’m very proud of today’s stable temp LOL. No questions really, just crossing all the things for O soon!

  • @TJtheGoat What kind of work do you do that has such long shifts? Way to go for a productive lunch break.

@chichiphin Enjoy DW!! I haven't been in a really long time.

R/R: I'm so jealous of all the ladies that have like 4 day periods and only need a couple of the regular tampons to get through it. I'm over here like, what's up sex ed, I bleed way more than 2 tablespoons, and my period is around 8 days.

    CS/Q: Still not much.

Eek! I have no clue sadly, ha - I just heard of it yesterday! Maybe some of the more experienced posters can advise? My cycles have been about 25 days, with O usually around the CD14/15 so I'm fairly close?

R/R: Well my plan was to jump DH last night so that I could be sure we had some fresh and healthy swimmers for the FW but I was 1 step away from raving b$*%* so that didn't happen. Today is a new day and although I'm still exhausted I don't feel aweful. Found out our addition will possibly cost a lot more then we anticipated and will now be looking at buying again. Open house on lake front property tomorrow. I'd love that but the thought of buying and selling scares the hell out of me

CS/Q: Not really chart related but I think I'm going to start researching and tracking RHR in relation to my migraines. It got pretty low and then I had a migraine the days following. It's probably nothing but I am curious just the same.

  • @nitnat007 Enjoy your weekend!!
@TJtheGoat I can’t believe you’re still at work! Way to go with still HIO!

R/R: I was feeling better yesterday, but feel slightly worse today.  Also, I got a call on a job I applied for.  She called Wed evening around 6.  I missed the call, but called back and left a message.  I haven't heard back.  Should I call her today?

CS/Q:  Well FF thinks I ovulated based on temps, but I don't think so.  I never got a positive OPK or really any fertile CM or anything....but I also can't explain the high temps unless it's because I have been sick.  I am still getting a high reading on the digital OPK, but no peak reading yet.  Cheapies are close to positive, but not positive.  So much for having an easier to understand cycle this time.

  • @nitnat007 I need to do housework too, but reallllly don't want to!

@TJtheGoat Yay that you were able to HIO!

@chichiphin I love WFH even though I rarely get to do it.

@dogmomma271 Crossing my fingers you O soon!

@prpl11butterfly Buying and selling is so stressful!  I hope it goes smoothly for you.
  • @sparklingdiamond I'd hold off a little if you left a vm. If you have an email address, you could follow up with an email?

    WAYDTGKU: Did all the things

R/R: I went to a neighborhood block party last night and it wasn't bad. The food was good! I left early, but it was hot out and I didn't feel like making small talk with people any more. I need to make myself clean my house tonight so that I can sleep in tomorrow morning and wake up to a clean house. However, I am usually way too tired after work on Fridays to clean so I spend all Saturday morning cleaning instead. Hopefully I have motivation and energy after work!

CS/Q: I'm so confused, I thought I O'd yesterday but then I got some EWCM this morning. My temp rose slightly this morning, but not higher than previous temps this cycle. H and I didn't BD last night, but I hope we can tonight. I was hopeful that this FW would be straightforward, ha yeah right.
  • @nitnat007 Low key weekends are the best!

@TJtheGoat Way to go girl lol. Gotta get it in when you can!

@chichiphin I'm such a fan of the real housewives! Never a dull moment with those ladies haha.

@MRDCle Good luck with SMEP! We tried that for one cycle so far. I'm typically a late ovulator too so we had to revise our plan! If I were you I would start EOD on CD15 or so!

@dogmomma271 I hope you get your positive OPK soon!

@marebear15 Hang in there! AF is rude.

@prpl11butterfly Hopefully you and your DH can HIO soon! You and I are always close cycle buddies! Do you participate in the TTTC board? I'm thinking about moving there after this cycle

@sparklingdiamond I'd call again Monday! Maybe they have good news for you :)

@luckywife10 No harm in continuing to HIO!

  • @crookshanks10 we are super closen if I hadn't Od a day late last cycle we would have been dead on! And in all actuality, I think I miss calculated CD1. If I O on CD 16 this month I'll know I did for sure mess it up. I don't actually fit in TTTC *tw* Loss

While we have been trying for a year, I did have a MMC in March (which is why my count is skewed 12/9). It took 5m for that pregnancy and now we are 4th since the loss.
  • @prpl11butterfly Ohhh okay that makes sense. I'm not sure where I belong at the moment but I'll know more next cycle. I'm sorry for your loss.. I hope you get your BFP soon!
  • @crookshanks10 FX you won't have to worry about next cycle
  • @TJtheGoat why so long at work? Awesome job sneaking in a HIO
@prpl11butterfly  that’s an interesting possible correlation with the migraines. I know my migraines are purely hormonal related. I get them during FW annoyingly and for about 3 months after stopping BCP. But my BP is always low when I have one.

@TJtheGoat that's impressive what all you got done on your quick break!
@marebear15 my period seems to get longer each cycle, I was almost at 7 days this month. Ick.
@chichiphin @MRDCle for SMEP, if your O day isn't usually CD14 maybe start HIO EOD a week or so before your expected O day?
@sparklingdiamond congrats on the new job prospect!
@general_organa hahaha I like that saying! Hopefully since we took yesterday off we can HIO tonight and tomorrow.
@kiki047 I've always thought that about "O" too! It makes me giggle.

@luckywife10 my O day the past three cycles has been 14-16 so I think I should be good starting on CD8? All the sex starting Sunday.  Or tonight if DH plays his cards right :D

@general_organa I was worried that it would cause me to wake up too but it hasn't been to bad. My alarm goes off, I turn it off, roll onto my back, reach up and grab therm, turn on, wait a sec, insert and wait for beep, turn it off, put back on headboard, and go back to sleep. I enter the temp after I get up for the day. Just make sure to set the time right in FF so it doesn't keep an open circle. And now you all know how my morning starts  :D

  • @TJtheGoat that must be a super interesting job! I was really into CSI (the TV show) when I was in college and thought it would be super cool to be a detective or a crime scene investigator. I've worked a desk job since I graduated, not even close to the criminal justice field. I can definitely see how your job and being on call can get in the way of good timing!

@Sparty18 Sorry and hugs to you <3 Step by step. You can do this. Please be kind to yourself. We are all a hot mess when hormones wreak havoc in our bodies.

Does the clinic offer an email address to write and ask questions? I find that helps me because then I can go back and really absorb what people say, especially when I'm a hot mess <3
