People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

R/R: AF is gone so I was trying to get something going with DH this morning but it didn't work out. To use SMEP timing we have to start Sunday so no harm no foul I suppose but it's a nice way to start a Friday. Office is hopefully quiet today so I'm hoping to be extra productive!

@nitnat007 happy Friday!

R/R: I’ve been babysitting for a friend all week (9 hours a day while her H is at work). It’s been fun to sort of play house all week so it’s a little bittersweet that today is the last day. I have a lot of experience babysitting but haven’t had the opportunity recently.
CS/Q: I’m very proud of today’s stable temp LOL. No questions really, just crossing all the things for O soon!
@chichiphin Enjoy DW!! I haven't been in a really long time.

R/R: I'm so jealous of all the ladies that have like 4 day periods and only need a couple of the regular tampons to get through it. I'm over here like, what's up sex ed, I bleed way more than 2 tablespoons, and my period is around 8 days.
CS/Q: Still not much.

R/R: Well my plan was to jump DH last night so that I could be sure we had some fresh and healthy swimmers for the FW but I was 1 step away from raving b$*%* so that didn't happen. Today is a new day and although I'm still exhausted I don't feel aweful. Found out our addition will possibly cost a lot more then we anticipated and will now be looking at buying again. Open house on lake front property tomorrow. I'd love that but the thought of buying and selling scares the hell out of me
CS/Q: Not really chart related but I think I'm going to start researching and tracking RHR in relation to my migraines. It got pretty low and then I had a migraine the days following. It's probably nothing but I am curious just the same.
@TJtheGoat I can’t believe you’re still at work! Way to go with still HIO!

R/R: I was feeling better yesterday, but feel slightly worse today. Also, I got a call on a job I applied for. She called Wed evening around 6. I missed the call, but called back and left a message. I haven't heard back. Should I call her today?
CS/Q: Well FF thinks I ovulated based on temps, but I don't think so. I never got a positive OPK or really any fertile CM or anything....but I also can't explain the high temps unless it's because I have been sick. I am still getting a high reading on the digital OPK, but no peak reading yet. Cheapies are close to positive, but not positive. So much for having an easier to understand cycle this time.
@TJtheGoat Yay that you were able to HIO!
@chichiphin I love WFH even though I rarely get to do it.
@dogmomma271 Crossing my fingers you O soon!

WAYDTGKU: Did all the things
R/R: I went to a neighborhood block party last night and it wasn't bad. The food was good! I left early, but it was hot out and I didn't feel like making small talk with people any more. I need to make myself clean my house tonight so that I can sleep in tomorrow morning and wake up to a clean house. However, I am usually way too tired after work on Fridays to clean so I spend all Saturday morning cleaning instead. Hopefully I have motivation and energy after work!
CS/Q: I'm so confused, I thought I O'd yesterday but then I got some EWCM this morning. My temp rose slightly this morning, but not higher than previous temps this cycle. H and I didn't BD last night, but I hope we can tonight. I was hopeful that this FW would be straightforward, ha yeah right.

R/R: Rant: No rants today! It's Friday.. yay! Rave: I have an RE appointment booked for next month! Super excited about that. Still crossing my fingers that this cycle will work but if not, at least I there's an appointment to look forward to.
CS/Q: Too early for anything interesting.
@nitnat007 Low key weekends are the best!
@TJtheGoat Way to go girl lol. Gotta get it in when you can!
@chichiphin I'm such a fan of the real housewives! Never a dull moment with those ladies haha.
@MRDCle Good luck with SMEP! We tried that for one cycle so far. I'm typically a late ovulator too so we had to revise our plan! If I were you I would start EOD on CD15 or so!
@dogmomma271 I hope you get your positive OPK soon!
@marebear15 Hang in there! AF is rude.
@prpl11butterfly Hopefully you and your DH can HIO soon! You and I are always close cycle buddies! Do you participate in the TTTC board? I'm thinking about moving there after this cycle
@sparklingdiamond I'd call again Monday! Maybe they have good news for you
@luckywife10 No harm in continuing to HIO!
Wait, tuna sandwich before or after BD? lol.
@chichiphin I like your attitude. I flip flop depending on the day but today is a 'drink til it's pink' day.
@MRDCle some days I have to remind my SO that his adolescent self would kick his ass if he knew how many times he'd turn down sex in his 30s because of X Y or Z reasons. Still doesn't get me anywhere, lol.
@dogmomma271 Glad you've been enjoying your week helping out your friend. That's really great of you to do that for her. FX for O soon!
@prpl11butterfly ugh, buying/selling is the worst. I am so glad to be almost through the hellish last few months. Hopefully you find something perfect though, and it'll all be worth it in the end. That's what I keep telling myself.
Re: your RHR relationship to your migraines, that would be interesting to track if you can establish any kind of pattern. Keep us posted!
@sparklingdiamond I'm with you on that one too, I'd wait another day or two to see if your temps stay high and if you get your peak reading on your OPKs. FF only knows so much, once you have more data those CH can change again.
@luckywife10 glad the block party ended up being fun. I hope we have something like that in our new neighbourhood. FX your cycle figures itself out soon.
@crookshanks10 that's great news about the RE appt. FX you won't need it but definitely nice to have something booked either way.

@prpl11butterfly that’s an interesting possible correlation with the migraines. I know my migraines are purely hormonal related. I get them during FW annoyingly and for about 3 months after stopping BCP. But my BP is always low when I have one.

@TJtheGoat I am so sorry you've been at work for so long! I hope you get to sleep soon (or are sleeping now!) Remind me what you do for a living? Are you a lawyer? Also, nice work on the lunch break!
@chichiphin yay for trashy reality TV! Also thanks for the compliment on my name and avatar haha. I'm a bit of a nerd - I love Star Wars and other nerdy franchises.
@MRDCle I loved quiet office days when I still worked in an office. I hope no one bugs you and you can get things done!
@dogmomma271 glad you've been enjoying babysitting. How old is the kid you've been watching?
@marebear15 wow, we really are cycle buddies. My last day of spotting is usually CD 9. It's the worst.
@prpl11butterfly sorry the addition isn't going to work out. GL house hunting, though! When we were looking for our house I think I dragged DH to like 8-15 open houses per weekend. I know it can be grueling!
@sparklingdiamond I'd give the temps a few more days. I've had cycles where I never got + OPKs and still ovulated based on temps. Sorry for the confusing cycle!
@luckywife10 that sounds like my FW last cycle. I always say "when in doubt, hump it out!" haha.

WAYDTGKU: lots of the things
R/R: My mission to quit coffee is not going well. I had a coffee this morning. My body is happier lol. I've moved to maintenance stage on WW for about a week and I don't even know how to handle the extra points. I weighed in yesterday and I was down 0.2 lbs from the week before even though I' still bloated from AF, so that was cool. And then my family decided they wanted pizza for dinner last night and I had 3 pieces. Apparently 3 slices of pepperoni from a large pizza is 10 points each. I only get 28 points per day, and had 30+ points for dinner! I can't handle this new point allowance change lol. I do too much or too little, apparently. We're also meeting friends for ramen on Sunday - a bowl of which is like 18 points haha. Ugh, oh well.
CS/Q: My temps have been crazy low so far this cycle. I had low temps after ovulation last month and I'm wondering if that is any indicator of things not being quite right with the egg release. So I' a bit worried about this month, too. Ugh. I just can't bring myself to temp vaginally because I get temp anxiety and wake up at 3:30-4:30 and I know temping vaginally at that time of morning would wake me up WAY too much and I wouldn't be able to get back to sleep!

WAYDTGKU: Everything except O'ing
(Ok, can I confess something? It makes me giggle that "O" on TB stands for ovulating, but IRL it usually stands for orgasms. This may be totally TMI but being persistently an-ovulatory and feeling super bummed about it month after long GD month, my SO tries to lighten the mood by reminding me how many other kinds of O's we've had by counting the BDs on my chart and it's so immature but it always works to cheer me up, lol)
R/R: No rants today! House closing day! Too excited to concentrate at work. Slept in my condo for the last time last night, which was so therapeutic for me because we've been moved out of there for almost 7 weeks. I don't know if I've shared the story of why we're moving, but I'll put it in a spoiler just because it's kinda long and not really relevant to the daily thread.
Going back there last night was nice. It was just the two of us, it was quiet and clean and pretty much the only time we've had alone together in 7 weeks. Even though we didn't even manage to BD because someone fell asleep on me, it was everything I needed to get some closure. I bought that as my "bachelorette pad" when I was single and now that we've bought our house together, this is all coming full circle and it's the greatest feeling.
CS/Q: I was really hoping yesterday's temp drop meant maybe AF was coming but had another average temp today. I think I had been awake for close to an hour at that point though because I had to pee but didn't want to get out of bed but I couldn't hold it so I took my temp before I got up, whatever time that was. Apparently not at a time FF liked.

Without putting tooooo much of my life on the internets, I am a detective. I investigate mostly gang-related shootings and the occasional robbery. I’m on call this week, so if it goes down in the middle of the night, I’m the one who shows up at the scene and interviews the suspects etc. I love my job, but the timing sucks this cycle.
@kiki047 FX that it’s almost over!!
@general_organa my temps have been super low this month too. I’m not really sure if I should care yet, but I will probably bring it up to my doctor if I have a couple more unsuccessful cycles.
@prpl11butterfly Ooh I would be very interested to see if there is a correlation to RHR and migraines. If I could sort of predict one, I could try to pre-treat by hydrating and rating and possibly minimize it. Now I need to google scholar.

R/R: Ugh, I'm a hot mess. I knew CD1 was coming, so whatever, but last night my H and I further discussed starting treatment. Like a 90 minute discussion of all the facts and emotions, involving lots of tears on my end. I called the RE office to ask some further questions and talked to the nurse, but she wasn't the most helpful. Hoping to talk to the doctor to clear a few things up before going in on Monday... assuming we don't change our minds in the meantime.
CS/Q: Nope.
@TJtheGoat I'm often up past midnight here
@sparklingdiamond I agree with what prpl11 said. Wait until Monday. When you call, if she doesn't answer, leave a message with what prpl11 said. If she doesn't call back within 3 days, dust your feet off and move on. Why someone would call if they weren't interested in interviewing is beyond me, but it says nothing about you.
@prpl11butterfly Oooh that is interesting. I'm curious to see what happens next time you get one and if it can be used as a tool to show one impending.
@kiki047 Awww how sweet is he?! That really is absurd that the building did that. I would've been like, my dog gained weight
Month/Cycle: we're not going there
CD: 15
WAYDTGKU: pnv, coq10, vitaminc, opk, bbt, sex
R/R: first +opk a little while ago. It was negative this morning. I knew it was going to be positive because my ovaries were on fire! Hopefully we can get some sex in tonight after we go out on a date. We found this really great place downtown that has a fantastic creole style seafood boil.
CS/Q: No questions but here she is in all of her glory! I had a lot of skipped days because I just didn't care too much. I decided that I'm not going to obsess this cycle. Last cycle neared the limit so I took a step back. That's partially why I haven't been posting about my cycle in the dailies lately.

@suzycupcake Woot! Date night and a positive OPK sounds like a good Friday. Have fun!
@tjthegoat What are you, Superwoman? Impressive!
@chichiphin I’m interested to hear what the Dr. says about the Vitex/B6 – also, totally jealous of your drinking around the world!
@sparklingdiamond I’m curious to see what your temps do the next few days. I wonder if being sick effed everything up? Did you end up calling the woman at the job back?
@luckywife10 FWIW, I’ve O’d before and then had a little EWCM the next morning/day – but if you can, HIO tonight can’t hurt!
@kindbytealikat Your Saturday plans sound like Heaven
@kiki047 I’m glad this a-hole cycle seems to be finally ending. I do think your H is adorable for trying so hard to cheer you up. I also totally agree about feeling weird when I type Oing. Lol
@sparty18 I’m sorry about CD1 :-( I hope you get answers soon.
@suzycupcake Hooray for +OPK and date night!

R/R: My boyfriend hurt his toe and is kind of being a huge baby about it. I'm happy to dote on him but he needs something. every. second. And then there was a car accident in our town and we lost power and it annoyed me even more. I'm ready for this day to be over.
CS/Q: Nope!
