@zande2016 I think it looks fine too! And chances of baby picking that bar to chew on is unlikely because there’s nothing for him to look at right there other than the wall. I feel like my kids only chewed when they were waiting for me to come get them.
Thanks for reassurance. I’m definitely just done buying things so it’ll have to do. @hillbillywife I wasn’t even concerned about chewing, I just wanted to cover the sticker and scratch for cosmetic reasons lol. I guess my priorities are a little off.
I finally have my space to share...it’s almost done in that the toychest/window seat my dad is building is nearly complete and will be delivered to be in a couple weeks. Once i see what color walnut he stained it, i will stain my blanket ladder and name sign to match. Also, maybe a white rug to tie it all together?
I guess our nursery is done. I don’t know, it’s kind of dark and needs more lighting but I’m kinda done spending money. Also we only got a couple wall hangings and I feel like it needs more decor, but again, done spending. I feel kinda meh about it. Also finally got the playroom/office/guestroom Combo sort of done (minus the dam baby gate), I think it’s as good as it’s gonna get!
@zande2016 Awww so cute! I ended up getting the prints on my wall from etsy and printed them off at work. Picked up some cheap frames at walmart and done if you are looking for something relatively inexpensive.
@nimmle that’s what we did with our first’s nursery. This time around I’m feeling really tired/lazy/uninspired. We also have really limited usable wall space to hang things because of the slopes walls so I might try to pick up a cute wall clock for one of the walls, and a side table and lamp for next to the rocker, and call it good. Or I might just leave it as is...we shall see.
@zande2016 Don’t be so hard on yourself! I’m a FTM and I’ve done less for my nursery so far than you have! Not a thing on the walls yet. Guest bed is still in the room. Dresser and changing table still hasn’t arrived (and won’t until after he’s born). I figure he will be in our room for at least 4-6m, so plenty of time to get a second wind, remove the guest bed once guests are gone, and make it special.
Sorry picture is huge... but literally this is all we’ve done! That’s not even the rocker we bought (it’s in the master for now)! Everything else is still en route or shoved in a closet and CS is Thursday!
@pretzellover that’s so true, the baby won’t even sleep in there for a good 6 months probably, it’s so illogical that I felt so much pressure to get it done. I think it’s part of this whole nesting thing. I love your crib!
@pretzellover I'm with you! I won't have a crib until my mom moves to the Airbnb, her bed is in the baby's room. Plus my friend who is designing the prints is behind on it...so yeah probably they won't be up until he is born or close to that! Don't be too hard on yourself @zande2016 you have a cute functional room and that's all that counts!
I only have a space in our room. We don't have the crib up and we haven't bought the mattress, and the space in our master is pretty big but its only got the changing table, the chair, a lamp, and some plastic drawers and wall hangers for storage. No theme, although we considered putting up the Super Mario decals we never put up for DS, lol. I'm not much of a decorator but +1 for second baby getting the shaft.
So it’s still not entirely done because Dd1 will have the crib for a few more months, but it’s white and will go below her name that’s on the wall. And then my mom is making curtains so these ones will come down- they were there from before and they kinda work! We need more wall decor
Re: Let’s talk Nursery!!
@nimmle LOVE the conoleted room! Your bookcase is wonderful!
Sorry for large images...

@zande2016 the room looks great! Don’t be hard on yourself.
@SmashJam thank you! I so wish my whole life could be this organized but it’s definitely not
