Its funny, I was thinking about taking my diclectin (diclegis), to help sleep but yeah, seems odd to take as a sleeping aid? I guess not though. I will def see what my doc says at next weeks appointment. I am still suffering from nausea in the mornings so maybe that will provide some relief there as well!
@kiwi2628 oh yeah! Either a takes my breath away sort of feeling, like @pumpkinpancake said the unsettled roller coaster feeling, or sometimes it startles me.

Diclegis at night will definitely help with nausea in the morning! Double bonus.
I'd also describe it as a roller coaster feeling, the really strong ones. I've had a few where it must be a really hard kick and it kind of slides across for a second so it feels kind of flippy. Some have been so strong. It's such a weird/wonderful feeling.
I've been able to tell that something weird was up with the back of my neck. Mostly felt like a scab or something in the crease. It started sometime after I got pregnant. Today I asked DH to look and he took a picture. it looks like my skin is all discolored. It doesn't hurt but occasionally does feel rough.
I know that I should ask my Dr, but I don't see him for a few more weeks. Anyone familiar? I figure it's probably just another weird pregnancy symptom.
@sammierose464 - Have you changed/added hair care products? I know several of the ladies have done so because they were concerned about chemical exposures, but I cannot remember if you did.
When I grew my hair out, I changed up my routine. It didn’t start right away, but I had an allergic reaction to something in one of the new products I had started using. Despite the fact that I used it on my whole scalp, it only had a reaction along the base of my skull like that.
@sammierose464 it could be anything tbh. I had I stop using the deodorant I've used for literally the past 10ish years because I started having an allergic reaction. Maybe make extra certain your conditioner is being washed out?
@sammierose464 I get that occasionally and I been told it has something to do with PCOS. Strange that it is showing up while you are pregnant instead! It also could be heat rash.

17 weeks and my new symptom is.. varicose veins. Nicely compliments my legs that I only manage to shave every other week or so. Thank goodness my husband is mostly oblivious and doesn’t seem to notice or care.
Ugh I feel like I have bronchitis. On a holiday weekend when we hosted dd’s birthday party and none of my docs are around. It’s annoying and I can’t stop wheezing and coughing!
Anyone else dealing with wicked cervical pressure? I’m carrying so fricken low and it’s making me insane. It’s uncomfortable to have my legs together if I’m sitting. Thinking I might look into a support band but idk if that would help. He’s still so tiny, it’s just that he’s bundled himself right down into the bottom of my pelvis. It feels like he’s trying to escape! Sit still there kid, we’ve got a solid 4 more months of this.
@HoosOnFirst ugh I’m sorry. I hope it’s not bronchitis. I’ve been dealing with a wicked head cold for a week and I’m going bananas from all the coughing/sore throat-iness.
@DunkinDecaf I am. Anatomy scan also confirmed he’s so, so low. Like hiding under my pelvic bone and they almost couldn’t finish the scan. I have pressure and achiness and I’m so over it. Like, will these kids PLEASE move up?!
@HoosOnFirst seriously!!! They tilted the table backwards (angled so my head was lower than my hips) trying to get gravity to shift him up a bit, and it barely worked enough for them to get the pictures. He slid right back down when I got up. I may have to start doing regular hand stands throughout the day.
@DunkinDecaf and others with low sitting babies look into pelvic rocking and after you do those lay on your side for about 15 minutes. Bonus points for laying on your left side. Also check out spinning babies website they have more things you can do daily to help shift baby. Mine was snuggled low during the us and there are some times I know for sure I need to do some rocks but overall the kid feels fine. I am up to about 250 rocks a day. Also really really go to do 30-50 before bed. Helps get baby in the right position as when you are rocking the have more room to shift around.
@krzyriver the skin around my mouth is so dry too! I thought it was due to my previous skin condition that I had finally cleared up three months ago. Maybe it is more pregnancy related because it isn't as bad as that condition was.

@sammierose464 yes but you don't need to do the cat/back arching part. Can't remember if they suggested against it or just said you don't have to. Back flat and then stretch down and back to flat.
@krzyriver@chyvie I have tiny cracks at the corners of my mouth too that WON’T heal no matter what I try! It’s weird because the rest of my skin is amazing right now.
@krzyriver is it kind of red and itchy some times? I have that and I forget what it's called p....dermatitis I believe. I'm going to talk to my OB about it because it's getting worse.
@nmadjeski It's definitely red and it's all scabbed up now. I haven't noticed itchiness, but I had to have been scratching at one point for it to be a scab now, right? I'm ready to just slap some Neosporin on it and hope it heals because it looks gross. Let me know what your OB says!
