Nothing crazy. The worst is the terrible morning headaches I've been having. I noticed some light swelling in my hands and feet over the weekend but I was in Colorado and think the altitude and not drinking a ton of water had something to do with it. I also have been feeling super breathy... especially when I give site tours of my property at work!

Back pain but that's a constant at this point and what's new is like acid reflux which has been pretty gross!!
  • 20 weeks 3 days. Lots of movement and heartburn. I do feel really good. I'm glad that I'm past the halfway point but also dreading it as it gets closer to 40 weeks. I'm terrified to have 2 babies. I have finally gotten excited about having another boy and love him a lot. This is gonna be an exciting pregnancy and a great journey. Idk how I'm gonna hold my son soon, I'm holding him on my hip but sometimes he pushes on the baby a little and then holding him facing outward in the front im holding him way up high to avoid pushing down on the baby again. Its so hard.

The aforementioned spotting (hopefully gone for good) and I seriously can't go into the freezer section of the grocery anymore or my nipples feel like they've reached level five frostbite! Wth!?
  • 19 weeks. +1 to back pain.
  • 20+4
sciatica is beginning to rear its ugly head again, along with some BH contractions. Had one day of spotting and cramping that really freaked me out, but it stopped with rest so doctor isn’t concerned. Still vomiting a few times a week but can’t tell if it’s pregnancy or prior health issues related. Getting some energy back though!
  • 18w5d today.Reflux starting earlier than last pregnancy, boo. Had my ultrasound today and I have an anterior placenta this time. Also potentially a cyst on my ovary they are going to monitor. So that’s fun and not at all giving me anxiety.

@koala1107 sorry about your spotting and cramping scare, but glad to hear it sounds like it's settled down and doc isn't concerned!
@HoosOnFirst will keep fx for your cyst and that everything's okay!
  • Thanks @chopchop25 I’m glad your news was good today!
  • @HoosOnFirst Sorry to hear about your cyst! I had one with DD and one this time as well. They both were/are a little smaller than a tennis ball. They usually just keep an eye on them and make sure that it doesn't get any bigger. Just thought I'd let you know my experience and no issues!

Headaches and round ligament pain and insomnia.

Thanks for this! I know they are so common but still was unexpected to hear since they didn’t see it at the last u/s. This puts my mind at ease.

  • At my AS last week the said I had a placental lake which is maternal blood pocket in the placenta and an anterior placenta. They said the lake is nothing to worry about unless you have a lot. Just saying in case anyone else has them.
  • 20w5d.

Not sleeping well- I lay down and close my eyes and keep them closed for several hours, but when I open them, it is as though they were never closed.

Also- kind of grouchy.  I’m not particularly good about things being late, or people not making/keeping commitments, but it is really getting under my skin right now.  So, I am either confronting people head on, or trying to anticipate the issue and planning ahead for how to handle it - both of which mean more work, and I don’t have time for that- which makes me grouchy.

I’m pretty sure I felt Blast kicking this morning.

Dealing with a bit of heartburn.

    Otherwise...?

Newest symptom is restless leg type feelings at bed time. Terrible!

Moving is getting more difficult. Runs are harder and picking things up off the ground takes unexpected effort. Headaches are common but today mine went away when I realized I was just dehydrated and drank more water  (thanks @sammierose464 ) and  last but not least of course I just love feeling the movements.

    +1 for restless legs!
  • 19w 4d
I just love this new thing where I wake up around 3 or 4 am and can't fall back asleep. /Sarcasm

Overall the same. Tired, uncomfortable, occasional headaches. I'm feeling occasional movement which is awesome.

  • @knottieamusements yay for feeling a kick!!! And also - I could’ve written your post myself, minus the baby kicks part.

18 +5 - peeing all the time, and that’s about it. Still waiting for my baby kicks.

18w 6d alllll the heartburn! Feeling sporadic movements which is enjoyable just want to feel them more regularly for reassurance.  I've been pretty uncomfortable and I'm getting more out of breath when walking to my car after work. I had a few dizzy spells this weekend but chalking those up to dehydration. I also started feeling this weird clicking or popping in my hips/pelvic bone especially at night when I am turning from either side.
  • 17 +3 Feeling pretty good. RLP is no joke the past couple weeks. I think I spend more time in the bathroom than at my desk working lately, I just always have to pee! I had some ice cream last night and I think I may have felt her move for the first time... could have been gas too.
  • 18w5d Still tired but ok otherwise. Some heartburn but nothing terrible. The worst thing I can complain about is the carpal tunnel but I just got my new braces in the mail so hopefully they help. I've had some sporadic movements but nothing consistent. AS is one week from Thursday so really looking forward to that for reassurance.

I get out of breath SO easily. It sucks.

Still not feeling movement, but he sits very heavily on my bladder and cervix throughout the day.

After our move this past weekend, I am ridiculously tired and sore. Struggling to stay awake at work and it's only 10am.
  • 20 +4....   leg cramps.  Holy smokes   I am getting the worst Charlie horses in my calves at night while sleeping.  It wakes me from a dead sleep and I cannot get the cramp to ease up.  OUCH.  Lots of heartburn too.  Bleh

  • slizteesliztee member
    Drinking enough water, @linssears4?
  • @sliztee I could probably be better about that!  I'm trying!
  • slizteesliztee member
I've said it before and I'll say it again: Nalgene bottles! I keep three at work (I'm way more inclined to drink cold water, so I keep them in rotation in our office fridge) and have two at home  :D@linssears4

That's where mine is sitting too. I can't sit up straight for long at work because it gets so uncomfortable.

Is anyone else having issues with their hands/arms falling asleep while sleeping? Is that carpal tunnel related?
  • @sammierose464 I know if I wake up from being on my back my left hand is typically going numb. I have noticed occasionally the fingers on my left hand tingle so I try and make sure to shift positions as I figure something is putting pressure on an area it shouldn't be!
  • slizteesliztee member
@sammierose464 Yes to the hands/arms falling asleep! Weirdly, I think my hand recently fell asleep simply from my arm being bent too long while sleeping.
  • 19 weeks. Still have some nausea. The acid reflux is pretty bad and is probably what is making the nausea so bad. Besides that I'm just enjoying lots of kicks. I think I'm really close to the enjoyable part of pregnancy!

19+5; sciatic pain on one side, I had Charlie horse a couple of weeks ago but nothing since, then yesterday and today both my legs feel crampy and just kind of sore. Trying to think if I did anything over the weekend. Had my husband massage my calves last night. Overall my whole bottom half is getting uncomfortable already. And my nips have started burning/hurting like they did kind of in the beginning. Acid reflux, constipation... But overall, honestly, I feel great and can't complain too much. AS on Thursday, hurry up!

ETA: I do feel lots of movement, which I love. I smile every time. It feels like even more than kicks, it almost feels like little flips or like I can feel it squirming.
  • @sammierose464 I was thinking of asking the same thing this morning! My hands keep falling asleep because they're under my head/pillow when I'm on one side or the other, but I don't know where else to put them!
  • chyviechyvie member
@sammierose464 and @sliztee My left arm/hand falls a sleep when I sleep on my right side. I chalked up to my left shoulder rotator cuff injury. I had surgery on back in September and is still in physio to recover. I also don't sleep on my side normally until the last three months. Maybe it is more pregnancy related than I thought
