I am super nervous to be joining this group. I got my BFP on Sunday, and was in total shock. I still haven't told DH. He works out of state, but I'm driving out to join him, tomorrow, so I guess he'll find out then. I have a blood clotting disorder and have to be on blood thinners. Kind of hard to hide those from someone (daily shot, and a I bruise). EDD is January 10.
@catlady2015 Thanks so much for the heads up! I’m still learning how to navigate the app. Can you point me in the right direction to update my screen name please?
Head over to theknot.com (thebump sister site), and log in over there. You’ll be able to change your name in your account over there. Log out of both sites and log back i here, it should update for you.
ETA: this is easier on a computer, not from the app.
Hey Everyone! I just got a BFP this morning and I am a little surprised but in a good way. I still have not told DH yet until he gets home. I am trying to think of a cute way to tell him. This is baby #3 for us. It has been awhile since I have been on this site but I look forward to getting to know you all.
hi all! I got my BFP this week with baby #2 with the EDD of Jan. 9. DH and I have an 18mo old DD. I'm really excited to be here and wishing for healthy pregnancies for all!
Hey guys.... got my BFP last week and positive betas this week. Tentatively joining here (RPL) and will likely hang in PGAL I'm Old 4 losses 7 IVF cycles 2 FETs
@dragonette505 I was so thrilled when I saw your second beta and I’m hoping so hard this little embryo is super sticky. Us RPL ladies will hold each other’s hands through these terrifying weeks.
Hello ladies of J19! I just got my BFP yesterday morning, after 3 cycles of TTGP. EDD is 1/10. This will be my second baby, third pregnancy. I have a son who is nearly 18mos old and my husband and I are both 33.
This baby will be a RCS and I’m hoping we can make it into January, if not a very end of 2018 baby— we shall see!
*TW* I had a second tri loss (pPROM at 17w) before I was pregnant with my son. PGAL brain is a really crummy thing, but I’m hoping this pregnancy is very uneventful.
Happy to be on this journey with all of you. Here’s to a H&H 9mos.
Hi everyone! Just found out this morning I’m expecting baby #2.. I was part of November 2015 board and we still all keep up with each other on a daily basis in a Facebook group now.. so excited to hopefully grow some new friends on here too!
Hi everyone! I've been lurking the last couple of days because I'm on pins and needles with this pregnancy. I had a chemical pregnancy in March. I got a BFP April 29 (my birthday). It has taken nearly two years to get pregnant. We have one son, who is almost 3 years old. I had bloodwork done Tuesday. I have another blood test tomorrow. I am completely on edge about it and have been compulsively taking pregnancy tests in fear of losing this one, too. I hope I can be of support to some of you and look forward to the journey.
Hi! Im 30 and DH is 35. We got our super surprise bfp on april 24th and our due (based on various calculators) on January 2nd!
We spent years ttc with no luck and eventually adopted two older children from foster care (our daughter is 13 and our son is 10). Almost exactly a year ago I got a surprise bfp which ended in a loss. We were actually planning to start the adoption process again this summer when we got our bfp! We are praying for a sticky baby and anxiously awaiting our first ultrasound on May 9th.

Hi everyone I am turning 39 in a month and have a 10 month old DD. DH and I were gonna wait until July to start trying for a second, but oops here we are. Both of us are shocked. Due date is January 10th based on LMP, but since I know the exact date of conception I’m thinking I’m like actually a few days later- though DD always measures ahead.

I had 2 MCs before DD and am very cognizant of the fact that I may miscarry this pregnancy given my age, but I’m feeling all kinds of symptoms I recognize already, so hopefully it’s a good sign. End TW*******
@chloe97 I know you’re cautiously introing here and I totally get those feels. But I still have to tell you how happy I am to currently be sharing a BMB with you!!!!

Excited to also join. I’m a bit of an older mom at 38. Had my positive on 4/26 with a EDD of 1/3/19. Our son (2 1/2) was born after PROM at 37 weeks so I anticipate a December delivery but who knows! So far feeling decent. Struggling with some insomnia issues. No problem staying asleep but 4am roles around and I am wide awake. First ultrasound isn’t until the end of the month at 9 weeks which seems like forever! I work in medicine and I know that early testing and ultrasound will tell you nothing about whether a pregnancy is going to stick but I still can’t wait to see this little being.
Hello! I’m finally getting it together to post here. I’m Jules, I’m 36 and my DH is almost 35. Our little dude is turning 4 at the end of the month. I teach dog obedience classes. We live south of Boston. I got a positive test on Monday, so an 4 weeks 1 day if my dates are right.
*TW*
we had a missed miscarriage at the very end of December at 12 weeks. It sucked. We weren’t exactly trying yet because my periods haven’t been normal since my D&E (very light) but apparently that one time was it. I was pretty shocked to see the positive test. Anyway fingers crossed!
I’ll also jump in and cautiously introduce. OH MY GOSH I FORGOT EMOJIS DELETE EVERYHING ARGHH
Ok starting over! I’m 29, DH is 30, we’re both lawyers in the Midwest and we have three dogs. We also have a 9 mo old DD from July 17 (where I was moderately active). Got that “BFP” a couple days ago but it was weak so I gave it a couple days and now I’m undeniably pregnant. Just in time for Cinco of course!!! We were only trying a couple months so it all feels like it happened super fast and way too easy. I haven’t really stopped to register allmy feelings yet because I think I’m mostly in shock? But I’m very happy to be here with all of you and looking forward to getting to know you... and this human thats allegedly in me.
Hey!! I’ve been dying to post here but it’s made me wait a few days since I joined. I just got a BFP on Tuesday and we were shocked! We had been off birth control for just a month a had somewhat actively tried to avoid a pregnancy since we just landed in London for a 10 day trip where I was really looking forward to champagne... but apparently the universe had other ideas!
I am 27 and DH is 28. I grew up outside of Buffalo NY and we now live in the DC suburbs. By my calculations we are due somewhere between January 4th and 10th. This is my first pregnancy ever so I’m totally scared and know nothing about what I’m doing or feeling, but we have had massive baby fever for ages so we are totally cautiously pumped! Hoping all of you can help guide me though this!!
I was active on TTGP for a little over a year. We then decided to have a short break before starting IF treatments, and I dropped off TTGP. This was our 4th medicated cycle and 2nd IUI. I'm 30, and DH is 32. We live in the Midwest. DH works for a hospital and I work for an aerospace engineering firm. This will be our first. ***TW*** I've had one M/C and two CPs so there's a lot of anxiety. ***End TW***
Hi everyone! I’m 31 and DH is 32. I got my BFP on 4/30 at about 10dpo. I’ve been super nervous about posting because I’ve been spotting for 7 days straight and on 5/2 I had a FRER come back with a slightly lighter line than my first one did, but I took another this afternoon and it was positive right away and quite dark. So I’m hoping all the spotting is just a weird me thing. If all goes well my due date is 1/11, which is coincidentally a day before my mom’s birthday. This will be our first. I’m excited to get to know everyone!
Hi everyone! FTM, 30, here who was very surprised with my positive result... on the first month of no birth control. I was super shocked with the news, and still am, but I'm getting more excited every day. I'm planning a fun surprise to tell my SO.
Yesssss We Did it!! My husband(31) and I(24) have been married for 6 years. We have a 3yo Son and we’re expecting our 2nd blessing Jan 5,19 first appointment May 10th we’re so excited CONGRATS LADIES
Hi. I’m stepping my foot in cautiously. I’ve been around TB forever it seems but the last year has been pretty hard on my family so I come around for a BMB when I can and then peace out for sanity if I have a loss. I only lurk after a loss. So I’m here because the one time DH and I were able to have sex In our window it seemed to work. I thought for sure it wasn’t our cycle but my period didn’t show as expected yesterday so I tested last night and got a definite line. I’m still in shock. Background on us. We’ve been married 8 years this month. I’ll be 37 next month and we have a 7yo and almost 5yo. We’ve had 3 losses. Two of them occurred last year. So I’m scared and this is our last go no matter what. If we are lucky enough to take this baby home I’m done. If I lose this baby I am done. Based on conception I’ll be due on 1/13. I know the doctor will move that for now to 1/10 because I’m going to pretend I have a normal cycle. I don’t really care at this point which date is chosen as long as I have a baby in January. I really want this baby to stick.
Alright, I'm doing this. My heart is racing but I'm forcing myself to intro anyway. *TW loss mentioned*
It has been a long, 6 year battle to get here, but I'm trying to stay positive that I will get my THB this time. DH and I have been struggling with secondary infertility, likely due to endometriosis. After 4.5 years TTC, we had a spontaneous pregnancy in October 2016. I lost that baby very traumatically at 9+1 in November 2016 due to a large SCH. It was devastating for me and I am still in therapy trying to deal with the loss. The miscarriage forced DH and I to go back to an RE (we had done treatments before but they really stressed DH out). In 2017, we did 5 IUI cycles, had a MMC @ 6w as a result of the 3rd IUI, and finally completed an IVF cycle in December 2017/January 2018. My first FET in February was a BFN. My second FET in March was a very quick CP. My naturopath put me on a bunch of supplements to combat inflammation and toxins from the endo and increase endometrial receptivity before my next transfer. This pregnancy (my 6th) was a result of my 3rd FET in April. First two betas were great and I have my 3rd on Monday. Due date is January 6, 2019. I am currently a basket case due to PGAL brain but am trying to remain positive. My participation may be spotty at first due to my anxiety but I guess I'll take it day by day. I recognize a ton of you here and am super excited to be sharing a BMB with so many IF/PGAL ladies.
