Hi ladies! My husband (29) and I (27) have been TTC our first for three years now, and we found out we’re expecting on April 28th. My EDD is Jan 9th.
*TW* I am an excited ball of stress and nerves hoping that this is our take home baby! I’ve had two back to back miscarriages, both at 10 weeks, on top of my infertility issues. Also, my EDD this time around is the exact same EDD as my previous miscarriage, so not quite sure what to think about that! *End TW*
Hi Ladies! First time mom here!! Got the BFP about 2 days ago (4/27)- EPT a few days before came back negative but I guess I just got anxious and took it too early. Took another when I missed my period and there it was! EDD around Jan 6. I'm super excited and trying to resist the urge to tell everyone until at least my first dr appt. I'm a teacher and DH is an engineer. We're both 27 and live in eastern PA.
@thecolddoesbotherme YAS! needles in my butt all day every day! Also your name is hilarious!
Beta results came back positive for us! This is really real! SQUEEEEEE!
My wife and I have conceived a babe with my body and frozen donor sperm through IUI, with medication support (clomid, ovidrel, and injections of progesterone) IUI #1, #2, and #3: Dec 2017, Jan 2018, and Feb 2018 - all BFN HSG Test: April 2018 - all clear! IUI #4: April 15/16, 2018 - BFP!! EDD: Jan 7, 2019
Just got a blood test confirmation today! I'm 30 years old and this is my first pregnancy. date is December 28, so I thought I'd join both the December and January boards.
Hello! I am Larissa! My husband and I have been together for 7 years (on Sunday) and have two amazing daughters. Blair (4) and Eleanor (2). This baby is quite the surprise. EDD is January 8th! Very excited but scared. I have hard pregnancies and worse births.
Hi all! This will be DH and I's 2nd child. We had our BFP April 29th with an estimated due date of January 5th. Our DD was born October 2015. *TW* We have suffered 2 losses since DD. One in November 2007 and one in February 2008. We are praying this little rainbow sticks!
Hi everyone! I’m probably the resident “big family” momma. This is our seventh. My EDD is 12-29 but will most likely be a Jan baby, if all is well.
Along with having firsthand birth experience (lol), I have studied childbirth in a career path so I’m really excited to talk birth in the coming months.
Hello everyone, I’m a 32 year old momma of 2, a DD who will be 5 in a month and a 20 month DS. My husband and are are excited and hopeful that this sweet little babe number 3 will complete our family. We aren’t going to find out the sex this go around which will be different from our previous pregnancies I am a pediatric nurse practitioner and worked three years as a labor and delivery nurse prior to finishing my masters and have a special love for all of maternal-child health ❤️
Hi all, After 3 long years of ttc, 4 failed iui's, two miscarriages, 1 chemical pregnancy, and two rounds of ivf, here I am! Bfp 4/28-4/30 with an EDD of 1/7. This will be our first child. Looking forward to getting blood confirmation Thursday.
Cautiously optimistic and posting here. Just got a BFP this morning at home, but haven't been in yet for blood test yet. *TW loss in spoiler*
I had a MMC in late Feb so am excited to be pregnant again but also very nervous and already second-guessing the sushi I had yesterday, the glass of wine I drank last weekend, and generally freaking out about the ways in which I've already fucked up this possible-pregnancy.
At any rate, after that I was active for about a month on the TTCAL and TTC I'm hoping for a happy and healthy 9 months to us all, and very excited to see some ladies from those boards over here. (GalacticKates I'm super excited for you!!!)
Hi! I am introducing myself with some caution. I am 35 and DH is 34. Yesterday I found out I am expecting my 3rd baby after experiancing a miscarriage in September. According to fertility friend my edd is January 12th, but I will be having a scheduled csection.
Hi Everyone. So nice to join the group. EDD is January 4. This is my third pregnancy and, universe willing, will result in us welcoming our second living child in January! I am a working mom of an amazing little girl born May 2016. My daughter was my second pregnancy. **TW**my first (a son) ended in 2015 at 20 weeks in a termination for medical reasons (tfmr). Trying to approach this pregnancy with less anxiety and more enjoyment. Happy to be a support or "old hat" reference for anyone.
Hi guys. I am 36 and DH and I have been ttc our first since March, 2017. **TW I had three first tri losses last year. end TW** My EDD is 1/5/19 by LMP and 1/3/19 by ovulation. We have three beautiful rescue doggos and one cat who poops everywhere.
Hi All! Cautiously posting here too, but there seems to be a lot of infertility alums, so that is encouraging. I'm 31 and DH and I have been TTC for the past three years. Ended up going to the donor sperm route and we got pregnant on our last IUI (total of 7!). Appears lucky number 7 has stuck and my tentative DD is January 2nd I think. My betas all looked great, so doc said we could wait until the first ultrasound on May 18. Anxiously waiting until then!!!
Hi everyone! I'm 25 (26 next month), been married to my incredible husband, Brian since August 2013. We have two amazing children, Brian Aedan (2.5yo) and Aletheia (9.5mo). We got the shock of our lives yesterday when two lines showed up on my test! Based off date of conception, I'm projecting due date to be around January 2nd. We had thought maybe a late summer/early fall 2019 baby would be nice... apparently God had other plans.
Hi everyone! Got my BFP on Saturday. DH and I just celebrated 4 years married on Thursday. This would be our second. DS is 10m old today. EDD is January 9th which is my birthday, so that's pretty awesome. Looking forward to meeting you all.
Hi guys, I'm 35 and DH is turning 35 in 2 weeks. This will be our 2nd as we have a 5 y/o DS. I was active on the Feb '13 lovebugs board and still keep in touch with those ladies so I'm super excited to get to know you all. Both DS and this pregnancy are IVFs and I got my BFP on 4/20 after having a 5dt on 4/15. I've had 2 betas so far with #3 tomorrow and hopefully an ultrasound early next week. EDD is 1/1/19 but DS came 2 months early so who knows (and his birthday is 12/20 so hopefully NOT another xmas week baby!!!).
@joniandtoe congratulations and welcome to the board. I lost my son in february due to a forced D&E for medical reasons. Hoping these will Be our bring home babies
Hi Everyone, I am 38, and DH is turning 39 next week. We have been trying for #2 for almost 2 years, did some IUIs that didn't work, and were waiting on doing IVF in June when we were surprised with this bean. I'm technically due on 12/31/18, but feel so behind in December, so I hope it's OK to join in here (hi @zamora_spin and @rooonilwaazlib !) I have one DS (March 2013). I was on TB with him (long time ago!) and this time around on TTGP since August 2016, but mostly in the IF thread the last year. First U/S is next Thursday, so hoping to see my bean with a HB! Nice to "meet" you all.
@berg and @BitterBetty12 I remember you all from my early lurking days. Congrats on #2!
Ahhh so happy to see so many TTGPers in here!! @galactickates, @Whitmore1027 and @zamora_spin (and anyone else I missed) Congratulations!!! So happy for you!!
Hi all! I'm 30 and DH is 31. We have a 2yo DD and I was a serious lurker in the May16 board, almost at an embarrassing level of lurking. DH and I were NPNT and planned to seriously start trying for #2 in a few months. I woke up on DD's birthday and decided to take a test and what do you know.. positive! EDD is January 9th. I'm a late December birthday myself, so I guess I'll be really thoughtful about celebrating this LO's birthday near the holidays. It's tricky for sure!
I've been battling severe PPA since about 10 months after having DD and while it's no where near as debilitating now, I'm concerned about how the pregnancy and PP period will go this time around. I had absolutely no anxiety during my last pregnancy so FX. Any other anxiety momma's here?
@RVAmom315 when I saw your post earlier I knew your username looked familiar and was trying to figure out where from! It makes sense because I was still around in TTGP until October of 2016! I’m sooooo happy to see you here now!! All the FX!!
@mommaluey Fellow anxiety and PPA sufferer here! I am a bit nervous to see how things will go but I’m still on a low maintenence dose of medication from DD and hoping that will help this time around!

Hello everyone! I am super new to this so bare with me lol. Still trying to learn all the new abbreviations and everything. This is my first pregnancy and I’m not exactly sure how far I am but I believe I am about 4 or 5 weeks! I am 25 and my boyfriend is 24. Our first U/S is May 29th, seems so far away but I’m praying that a slightly earlier appointment opens up. I actually had signs that my period was coming (bloating, slight cramping) but something told me to take a pregnancy test last Friday....and guess what!? To my surprise, it was positive! I couldn’t believe it, so I went to the store and bought 2 more (as if things were going to change lol) and of course they were positive too! I am excited to be on this journey with you ladies!
Hi January moms! Newbie here, and FTM! I got my BFP on April 27 at 11 DPO, after 9 months TTC with a short luteal phase. The due date calculators put me at January 6. This is my first pregnancy, and every little twinge or cramp makes me scared I’m going to lose it. I am also high risk, with a history of blood clots. But in spite of all thw worry, I’m so excited to become a mom, and to be on this journey to mommyhood with all of you!
Re: Introduce Yourself Here!
@galactickates YOU FREAKING DID IT! YEEEESSS!!!
@galactickates SO HAPPY FOR YOU!!!!
