Preseed?

Thoughts on preseed? Anyone ever have any luck with it? I don't get... ahem...as "wet" as I used to, I think because ttc is kinda getting stressful. Sorry if TMI. I've never noticed much cm throughout the month... is that bad? I don't want to wait any longer than I have to to be preggers!!!

I didn't want to wait any longer than I had to either and here I am quickly approaching 2 years.

Also, read the newbie guide, lurk, intro on the weekly thread and join in on the dailies. We frown on one-off posts like this, which you would know if you'd lurked like many of the regulars on here did once upon a time.

Gee, thanks for all the support. Didn't realize everyone was going to get butthurt so quickly around here... this is a ttc board after all..? Nothing like yelling at someone who's already down on themselves. But that's y'alls business not mine

This board is actually pretty damn amazing when it comes to giving support. But you also have to give support to get it. Which you would know if you actually lurked. If you want to experience that kind of support then take the advice I gave above. As for "yelling" at someone who's down on themselves, there are many people on this board that are struggling in various ways and incredibly down right now so please don't try to play the pain olympics with the ladies on this board.

@sholmes17 yes, this is the Trying to Get Pregnant Board, not the Rainbow and Unicorn Farts Board.
a) If people had luck with preseed they wouldn’t be here anymore
b) you have to give support to receive support.

Lurk around and maybe offer some support to someone else that needs it before posting a AW one off that you could have googled and then getting butt hurt when the regulars don’t want to be used as your personal search function.

I wasn't trying to play the pain Olympics with anyone at all, but also don't appreciate you downplaying what I'm going through either. Let's not even get into the fact that not a single person a) knows my story so don't try and tell me I'm not struggling (I didn't say that to you!) or b) answered the question. Can I at least ask what is wrong with this post? I thought I posted it in the right place, and I don't understand why the last sentence of the post was so terrible. I mean, don't we all feel that way? That's the whole reason that we're all here after all. All I was looking for was some positivity but this is what I got. Happy freaking Tuesday.

@sholmes17 First of all, I don't think anyone said you weren't struggling. I'm very sorry for what you have been through and even sorrier that you had to experience it on your birthday.
As far as what is "wrong" with this post is that this board has it's own set of rules and organization. We don't do one-off type posts like this because if everyone posted a separate thread each time they had a question then the board would be cluttered and no one would ever get to know anyone else. I wasn't kidding when I said that the support on this board is amazing. I really do encourage you do do a little more lurking, intro on the weekly thread and then jump in on either the daily threads (WTO or TWW depending on where you are in your cycle) or the TTCAL thread. This board truly is amazing and has helped to keep me up in my nearly 2 year TTC journey.

The reason this post was bad is that you didn’t introduce yourself, so we have no idea who you are or what you’ve gone through. This easily could have gone in one of the dailies threads or if you had used the search function you would have found several responses to your question. Your last statement was insensitive because while we all want to get pregnant ASAP, that’s not a lot of people’s realities and preseed isn’t going to help. It just makes the required sex more comfortable without making it any more difficult for the sperm to move.

I've been using preseed for 3 years and it has done nothing to help my tired, useless ovaries do their job. Good lube tho.

@sholmes17 the issue is that most people who come here and post these 1offs are people who are only here for 1 month and then gone on to a BMB. Many many of these ladies have been here for a lot longer then is fair and it gets old really quick to watch that happen.

As for what is legit wrong with your post, (which if you had read the Newbie posts and lurked a little bit, you would know) is that there is a specific thread for questions. Or you could ask this question in a daily thread. And as Meggyme pointed out, anyone who has had luck with that would have moved on by now.

Your 100% right that we don't know your story. You haven't given us the chance to get to know you. And you didn't get to know us either. If you had, you would have known not to make a post asking a question AND that a statement like you made would upset quite a few in here. I assure you no one wants to spend any more time on this board then they have too. And yet here we all are....

Thank you for explaining. It would have been helpful if that was said at first so I didn't feel like people were jumping down my throat. I want to help all of you stay positive on this journey, because it is difficult and stressful and can really suck the life out of you. I won't be posting here anymore. I'll just Google my life away and suffer in silence instead. Wishing you all the best and good luck. I truly hope we all get our babies soon.

As @meggyme said, you didn't introduce yourself. I am new here, so I will not pretend to even begin to comprehend what these women have gone through, but what I do know is that they have welcomed me. I introduced myself and I slowly worked into the boards, and they have never once made me feel excluded just because I do not have the same story as any of them. That's the beauty of this community; they support each other no matter what each individual is going through. If you respect their rules and the rules of The Bump itself, you will be rewarded. But don't feel entitled to come and say insensitive things that are triggering to other women and disrespect the way that this community is designed. If you try as best you can to follow the flow, these amazing women will support you and answer your questions, even if they have seen the same ones 100 times over.

I disagree. Preseed is sh*t lube and feels disgusting. Like shoving a hot dog in a jar full of mayonnaise. It’s also never done anything to help me get KU.

ETA: I mean a skinny jar of mayonnaise. A glass perhaps? It’s not cavernous in there, or anything.

No one suggested at any point that you suffer in silence, that's not what this board is about...at all. The women on here have been some of the most supportive people in my life and I know I can come on here with the most ridiculous question ever, and I'll receive legit advice. Or they'll tell me it's ridiculous but hey, we all need a reality check at some point. This board is caring and we really want to see eachother succeed and everyone helps wherever they can.

We like GIFs and helping eachother, not drama

Agree to disagree I guess. I still keep a tube next to my bed even though my ovaries are tiny trash cans filled with literal trash.
