Its just something to keep me occupied since its all out of my control (and I hate that) lol Its like, in a process where we have so little control or power, one thing I CAN do is type some dates into a calculator I haven't looked at a due date calculator yet (saving that for after transfer), but Ive looked at the When To POAS calculators lol

AFM…I was fine, I was okay, relaxed abou this cycle…very
aware that this is our last embryo and if this time doesn’t work, then we will
sell the house, move to a condo by the beach, be DINKs and retire early…NOT
ANYMORE!!!! I am a week away from transfer day and old crazy IVF lady is
back!!! I am overthinking everything again and extra anxious…last night I got
10 (yes! 10) HPT from the dollar store and then started panicking about Friday’s
appt, the thawing process, implantation and googling all kind of info.
mama2b1974 Guuurl... nothing about this process makes you feel like a normal person! lol That's why I do so many things as busy work. I pretty much have something to do each day as a project. Most of it is related to the transfer, but it makes me feel like I'm involved and not powerless. I can definitely suggest meditation apps (I use them to have something else running through my brain besides the FET), exercise and/or whatever is distracting for you! You've got this!!
@mama2b1974 Girl you aren't alone!! That's how I always start out...nice and calm then the crazy hits! I was watching Hawaii Life while getting ready for work. DH and I say if this doesn't work, then we'll move far away to Hawaii and just enjoy life. @mcgeeva. Happy transfer day! @mama2b1974. This is totally me right now. I have spent all day googling how to aid implantation. I am obsessed. I told myself this time I would be relaxed but I don’t think that’s possible.
shae44 I just read this morning that their was an Australian study saying sex on transfer day raised the viability, but most clinics advise against it... I would consider trying before hand though.
@shae44 I was JUST coming here to ask the same question! We must be telepathic. I read a study where women who had sex before FET had a higher pregnancy rate than those who abstained (or used condoms....can't remember the exact deets). They theorized that it was something about sperm in the reproductive tract that signaled the body to not attack foreign bodies (like the incoming transferred embryo). My plan is to try it this cycle but I'm kind of feeling uncomfortable with the whole semen/leakage in the vag thing right before I'm going to have my legs in stirrups...ewww

tosh24 I imagine it would be the same (except that like you said it would probably be hella uncomfortable during a fresh transfer). I definitely had sex around my last transfer since I had that semi natural cycle and I figured, hey maybe I can catch that egg too (although I hear the trigger can make that one egg over mature). My last doc used an antibacterial wash on day of transfer, but with my using this stupid antibiotic gel, I would probably kill off all the goodness from my hubs. I will probably still try it, but wait a couple hours before using the gel to let the swimmers get into my inner lady areas! lol
So DH and I had that conversation last night. He refuses to have sex after my transfer. He says we are paying a lot and he doesn’t want to “knock it loose.” Haha. So tonight’s the last night for awhile. Hey maybe it will help! I can’t imagine doing it RIGHT before though especially with the vaginal progesterone I have to use in the morning ew. I’m on antibiotics so not worry about an infection.
@mama2b1974 I just used my last $ store hpt this morning (yes, I’m still POAS - but now I’ll just do every other day to get thru the few wondfos I have). I fully walked in to the dollar store last Thursday intending to buy 10. But then I found a few other things I wanted to buy (including the candles and gift bag for DH’s birthday yesterday) and reduced the number of tests partly because I couldn’t carry it all (could have just thrown it all in the gift bag, I guess), and I had in my head for some reason I was only going to spend $10, so I only ended up with 6. But 10 was the intent

So I’d get that BD in at least for fun! Alas, we didn’t make it happen right before. And we actually used condoms around ovulation because we didn’t want to risk an abnormal one taking/messing with the transferred one when we still have “normal” ones available. So counterintuitive.

Okay so few things.. transfer almost got cancelled why I laid there since my bp was 166/110. I have to go see someone again tomrorow. Told me I have to check it again tongiht so I’m definitely freaking out. But... positive is I did my transfer and she was hatched and has a placenta and here are my socks I’m so scared to be excited. To know it’s technically as a baby but may not stick. I don’t think the blood test if postive will bring me any peace until I see an ultrasound. Anywho.. hiding in my room watching trash tv. How is everyone else doing? I was just told by someone not to share this pic or talk about it because it’s bad luck. Thoughts?

Thanks ladies! Maybe?! But it’s been high a lot lately and with previous bp issues when pregnant that caused a placenta abruption don’t want to go down that route again. Too scary.

I was cleaning out a closet and found a ton of pregnancy tests leftover from my IUIs last summer. I mean who am I kidding. Now that I know they are there they will get peed on
@mcgeeva Congrats on being PUPO High bp is scary, take good care of yourself and stick to lots of trash tv and meditation apps or anything in the world that can help you relax (videos of puppies help me )

Married: 5/09 ~ TTC Since: 10/10 ~ PCOS ~ Progesterone from 10/10 - 2/11 ~ HSG on 3/18 - Clear ~ Started Metformin 1000mg & Clomid 50mg 2/11 ~ Metformin upped to 1500mg 4/6 ~ 6/7 Now going to SG and put on Clomid, Ovidrel, Gonal F, Prometrium, Estrace ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP!!!!!! March 6th our little man was born.
6/17/13 - Ovidrel, Follistim, Prometrium ~ IUI #1 7/2 = BFP! March 17th our St. Pattys day baby arrived
10/29/17 - Started process for IVF, got pregnant & miscarried a 2nd time since summer. 2/22 started stims - Menopur, Gonal F, Cetrotide - retrieval 3/6 - , PIO, estrace 3xday - FET 4/18 = Beta 1: 616; Beta 2: 1342 = BFP
