Re: PGAL check in w/o 4.11

  • @echo-charlietango I am.  Guilty.
@texas_t thanks for the reminder.  I did with mine, too.  But my brain...
@maureenmce <3 That's such a great reminder.  I know all this in my head.  But again with the PGAL brain...it's irrational and annoying AF.

  • @littlewhitecottage These early weeks are so hard, not knowing what’s going on! I’m not feeling much of anything either today. I’m really just trying to stay positive and assume this little bean is in there growing. Like @texas_t I didn’t have much in the way of symptoms in my healthy pregnancy either. Try to remember the symptoms are different for everyone, and every pregnancy.  <3

  • Thanks so much @rosebud332 <3 You're right.  I need to get control of my thoughts, for sure.
  • @littlewhitecottage I know it’s easier said than done!

    2. How far along are you? Any milestones coming up? 4 weeks 4 days

    3. How are you feeling (symptom or anxiety wise)? Boobs hurt

    4. Any appointments this week? No appointment. I have a phone appointment on April 23 (take down info so my in office visit goes smoothly) And then an office appointment on May 14

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): My HCG levels are good so far. I am going to keep getting them checked once a week (so if something does go wrong, I won't be surprised at my first doctor's appointment)

  • @asun123 Yay for good HCG levels!  I'm sure that's very reassuring to get to have those checked every week.  <3
  • @asun123 Glad things are looking good, levels wise! Man, I wish my OB would do weekly HCG checks! Hopefully that will help keep any anxiety in check, since you have to wait a bit for your office appointment. Hope the time passes quickly and numbers continue to be great!

  • I didn't know if I should post here or in the other thread but here we go!

Btw, I never know when the week starts in America, is it Sunday or Monday? (In France it's Monday :))

    1. Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc.

Hello there. My name is Sam(antha) and I'm 31. My husband and I have started TTC in January this year. I got pregnant right away but it ended up in MC. See spoilers for details.

I started losing blood during week 5; went to the hospital every other day during 2 weeks before they gave me medication to stop the pregnancy because it wasn't evolving normally.

     2. How far along are you? Any milestones coming up?

I’m 4 weeks + 6 days based on LMP. I just want to make it to next weekend because then I would be further along than where I was last time.

    3. How are you feeling (symptom or anxiety wise)?

I’ve got what resembles menstrual cramps… and I’m pretty tired. And super anxious.

    4. Any appointments this week?

No. First US will be on April 26th hopefully.

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):

Work stresses me out and I really don’t need that.

    6.GTKY: Who's your favorite band/musical artist?

I have so many. Let’s say Ana Free ‘cause nobody knows about her, yet she’s fantastic.

  • @samfromfrance our US weeks start on Sunday

    1. Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc.
I’m a FTM, and I joined the bump in 2016 with my first pregnancy. It ended in a mmc. The whole experience was rough. I had no idea. The m/c was diagnosed 2 weeks after the pregnancy stopped progressing, at my scheduled first u/s appointment (because my hormones were still increasing). It took another 2 weeks or so to finally miscarry naturally.

    2. How far along are you? Any milestones coming up? I’m only 3 weeks 4 days, according to some online calculator based on my LMP. I know I’m not out of the woods of a potential CP, but I am pregnant today, and I just want to try to enjoy it for now. I’ve had faint  bfps the last 3 days, and this morning’s was noticeably darker.

    3. How are you feeling (symptom or anxiety wise)? Occasional af like cramps and other general pms stuff for me, my arm keeps feeling kind of tingly- which has me googling worse case scenarios and freaking out. Feeling a bit nervous overall.

    4. Any appointments this week? I haven’t made appointments yet, but I’ll start on that tomorrow. In case my arm issue is something more serious than general pregnancy swelling.

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Just poas a lot, and being very surprised by the early bfps.

6.GTKY: Who's your favorite band/musical artist? I honestly don’t have favorites of music. I listen to a wide variety of genres.
  • I did post an intro with my story, but figured I'd jump in here, too.
    1. Introduce yourself and anything you think is important: number of loss(es), when you had the loss(es), diagnosis / conditions surrounding loss, etc. My name is Angi, and I'm 31. This is baby #4. I have a 5 yo girl, a 3yo boy, and a son, Micah who would be 1 on May 5th, but was taken in August 2017 by SIDS. He was my first ever loss, and losing him is the hardest thing I have ever had to endure. I got pregnant in Nov/early December, announced to the world immediately, as I have with all 3 of my other babies, too, but unfortunately it was a chemical pregnancy. Although I was sad for the pregnancy to end, I was thankful it happened early on if something wasn't right, rather than later in the pregnancy, or after baby had arrived. So this is pregnancy #5, and hopefully baby number 4!

    2. How far along are you? Any milestones coming up? Only 3w6d! Only a few faint tests so far, (and none with FMU), so hoping for some nice, darker lines over the next few days! Going to use FMU in the morning!

    3. How are you feeling (symptom or anxiety wise)? Just tired and a little crampy/full feeling.

    4. Any appointments this week? No appointments scheduled yet

    5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here): Not much. Just working and wrangling the other kiddos. Waiting for some darker lines to officially tell DH and everyone else.

6.GTKY: Who's your favorite band/musical artist? I'm mostly into Christian music. I love Elevation Worship, Jesus Culture, and Cory Asbury.

  • @antsangel1118 I'm so sorry for your loss

@mommythlegend Good luck! Are they pretty good about getting back to you right away?
  • @mommythlegend Those are great numbers! Hope everything continues to go well and you get a great ultrasound soon!

As for me, I woke up feeling awesome and barely nauseous, after two days of intense bloating, fatigue and nausea, so I am basically freaking out. I KNOW that symptoms can come and go, but since I am basically right at the point where the baby stopped growing with my MMC last year, I am just terrified that that's happened again. Just trying to take deep breaths and remind myself I can't control things either way, so anxiety does nothing, but I'm basically on the verge of tears. Just one more week and one day until my ultrasound. Focusing on that.
  • @maureenmce I understand, my mmc was 7 w 5 d.  That's why I wait to schedule my US until after that date.  I actually don't feel sick at the moment either. Hugs

  • @antsangel1118 So sorry for your loss. I can’t imagine.
@mommythlegend Yay for a great report!! One piece of good news at a time. Small victories!
@maureenmce Keep on trucking!! Symptoms are bs crazy and we know that. Today you’re pregnant and your baby is thriving. Take the break in symptoms as a temporary relief and keep yourself busy so you don’t think about it too much. (Easier said than done, trust me I know. I’m just echoing the words that you amazing ladies have given me to help in my times of freak out.) Huge hugs!!!

Thanks so much @texas_t and @littlewhitecottage - big hugs back to both of you. The first trimester is such a mindf*ck, can't wait until it's over!
  • @maureenmce it sure is. I keep saying that I need the first trimester to hurry up and be over, but December can take it’s sweet time getting here. Excited to hold my baby but sooo much to do in the meantime!
  • @antsangel1118 I'm so sorry for your loss. There are no words.
@mommythlegend Your numbers look amazing, keeping my fingers crossed!
@maureenmce So frustrated with my symptoms, and lack of, too -_-
@texas_t May I ask if you had an ultrasound before your mmc? I'm sorry to ask, I'm wondering... can an early ultrasound look perfect but the pregnancy still end up in a MC? I guess it can :/

  • @maureenmce I know what you mean. I am right in the window of my mmc too & my symptoms are mostly gone. Hang in there!

Dr did an exam & pressed kinda hard on me. Been cramping ever since :/
  • @samfromfrance I had the option of scheduling my US anywhere from 7-8 weeks. I ended up having mine @ 8w3d and baby only measured 7w5d w/ no heartbeat. That's why I am wanting to wait until that 8 week mark.

  • @mommythlegend Thanks! And I'm sorry you're having cramping after your exam. Hope it goes away soon!
  • @texas_t Okay, got it. Thanks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you.
