Ugh--first day back to work after spring break. I just want to go home and snuggle with ds and my puppies. I think it's the weather maybe. It's cold here and cloudy...like it's been..since December.

It is snowing here today, but should be around 80 towards the end of the week.

We have a ridiculous amount of doctors appointments this week, it is going to be long and miserable.

@holly321 *hugs* A week full of doctors visits sounds rough. Are you getting more testing done?

Ugh yes to this weather. I wish it would just make up it's mind. I hate this stage where you need all your winter clothes but also need all your summer clothes out.

Hello all! I’ve seen this board mentioned a few times on TTGP and finally tracked it down - what a fabulous idea!

We are supposed to be getting a ton of rain this week - it has been so wet and gloomy the past while...definitely a downside to living in the PNW. I am ready for some dry weather!

Sorry I've been a bit MIA this past week - been lurking like mad though.
Hope all you ladies had a wonderful weekend!

It's been cold here too. And the wind was enough to blow you away yesterday. I almost couldn't get into my office because the wind was so strong I couldn't open the door! A lot of our neighborhood lost siding too. Luckily we were fine.
Luckily I'm 4.5 weeks out from vaca!! I can't wait!

I would LOVE some nicer weather. I miss the sunshine and wanting to be outside. I've been day dreaming about it being nice enough to start gardening eventually, although that's still a ways out.

Also, I have to finish this custom cross stitch order someone requested. Originally I said I'd have it done by Wednesday. I have ZERO motivation to get it done. Maybe it's because I don't love the design, or what, but it has been a struggle to get myself to work on it.

@craftyg yeah I put up an Etsy a month or two back. This was my 2nd request/customer so far. Hopefully they'll continue

I have a few completed items up but so far the only interest has been from the "custom order" type posting which is cool

I am super proud of it

I'm so glad that other people can enjoy something I made enough to display it in their home

@CraftyG YES!!! I keep getting a "Permission Problem" screen whenever I try to do anything. I had to switch to a computer. I emailed their customer service people about it and got a generic reply about how new members have a wait period. Dude, did you actually read my email? I've been on the boards for years!

@meggyme That’s exactly it! Every time I go to like something it takes me to an error page and yesterday it wouldn’t even let me look in spoiler boxes! I hope it’s just a bug that they’ll fix soon I don’t like not being able to love tit haha

Hi all! So I was creepy lurking and checking out @lurvleybunchococonuts Etsy shop (can't resist a good Etsy buy!). Hey hey guys--sorry I've been absent-ish. My app isn't working except to lurk (which appears to be a multiple problem per others!), we're packing to move next week, and I'm still working full time...plus I don't really feel 100% mood wise yet so I'm a little spacey. My husband said I am horrible right now...I'll call things different things than what they are and just space out mid sentence. I suck LOL

Buttttttttt on the brighter side, DH saw a video last night about a little boy going to the hospital to see his new sibling for the first time and I may have him convinced to try again. I sure hope so.

@lalala2004 I think it was shut because of ‘unwelcoming tones’ I just glanced but there was a comment saying basically you put yourself in this position you need to deal with the consequences. But it just sounded like harsh reality

@craftyg @lalala2004 the wording was more along the lines of clearly you should get an abortion or put the baby up for adoption, you put yourself, your child, and your future child in this abusive situation so deal with it. It was a *bit* on the harsh side, but no more extreme than some of the other things I've seen posted before. *not exact wording, but the general gist of it.

True or not, that’s not really at all helpful to someone in a situation like that.

@lalala2004 agreed, that response was not beneficial. It's like when my husband will say something rude and then back it up with, "well it's the truth" I don't care if it's true or not, tact goes a long way and that's no excuse to be blatantly rude to someone.

Do you guys think it's gross to use the dish scrubber on things that aren't dishes? Things like the dog bowls and shoes? Brought to you by an argument DH and I just had.
