    We are lucky in southern California and it's in the upper 60s today, upper 70's starting tomorrow (yay!) BUT I'd never know it because my office is temperature controlled like it's Antarctica. I am typing right now in a sweater dress, tights, full winter coat and wool scarf and STILL COLD. Ugh.

    (Edited to realize this probably should've gone in Monday Bish Fest, but I was chiming in with the weather talk, haha.)

    @galactickates I was watching old episodes of it and I really hope the designers have improved their aesthetics. I feel like they were more going for the shock and aw factor back in the day but I would have hated most of the transformations and would have just redone them. I hope they actually take a really ugly space and turn it into something functional and beautiful.

    Oh, this is random - if anyone is looking for new beverage suggestions, I'm not usually a huge fan of La Croix (think it's a bit overrated) but the new Key Lime flavor is really, really good! Better than the normal lime flavor by a lot! I've been drinking it all day while I try to kick diet coke.

    @catlady2015 kitty purring is such a relaxing sound! DH is always telling me to "turn her off" when mine comes to bed. He says the sound isn't consistent enough for white noise *eyeroll*. My girl knows how to help me fall asleep and he just needs to deal.

    My kitten is a big cuddler, except his favorite way to cuddle is to drape himself across my face and purr with his nose in my ear. If I get lucky he pretends to be a scarf.

    @doxiemoxie212 ours do too! Lucy always finds a way to snuggle in the middle of the night.  If I'm freezing I find her.  She's like a safer version of an electric blanket.

    @doxiemoxie212 ours do the same!  Lol I've woken up and realized I'd been sharing a pillow all night lol. She manages to tuck herself in perfectly. She also does the bunny kicks but to my head if she wants petting. She's so spoiled. Do you ever go to any doxie meet ups?  I feel like we've talked about this?

    @galactickates ugh we did when she was a puppy -- it was SO cute, like a million dachshunds all running around together. But our girl is scared of other dogs, and she just hides, so we stopped because it wasn't fun for her. She doesn't get aggressive or anything, she just literally hides or asks for "ups" (she gives the saddest look and puts her front paws on any human knees she can find like pls pls, pick me up.) We think it's because when she was about 7 or 8 months old a random dog tried to hump her, and she did NOT like it, so now she's scared of all other dogs. Do you bring yours?

    Also do you have a nickname for dachshunds? We call them all weasels. I met a girl a while ago who called them all noodles lol.

    DH told our dog he needed a friend the other day. We use to be a 2 dog house but our oldest passed about 2yrs ago. I kind of want to be a 2 dog house again but fear a second will pick up the crazy if the current....

    @prpl11butterfly Our old dog has separation anxiety. She always does better with a second dog in the home. Maybe if y'all get a chill dog, it'll help level out the crazy? Haha. What does your current dog do?

    @galactickates I feel the same about Trading Spaces. I used to watch it all the time as a teenager. I am also super excited that Corner Gas is coming back in animated form!

    The dog we were watching went home yesterday and now my puppy looks lost even though all she did was annoy the other dog. She is a goof!

    @doxiemoxie212 We used to take them to the meet ups all the time but haven't since we got Lucy. I'm sure now that life is calming down we will go back. She doesn't do well with strangers so it will be interesting to see how she does with other doxies. 

    I don't have a nickname besides doxies. I love yours though! H calls them wieners which I hate. I'll never get my head out of the gutter. 

    Do you ever blow on yours. Lucy hates it. We call it plugging the hole Lol because if you blow on her she'll get right up to your face and block your mouth with her body.  It's sooooo funny. "There will be no wind on my watch"

    @SkilledSailor he's just a pain sometimes. He us super cuddly but as soon as you start to pet him he spazes and rolls around like a maniac  (out of excitement). He's too protective and barks at leaves blowing by, cause ya know, their dangerous... We have 1 neighbor who walks by daily during lunch. Daily. He's at the window barking at her every single time. And he doesn't do company well (okay, really just MIL.....). I do think he'd like having a buddy since he cries when we leave for work everyday. But we wouldn't  be able to adopt because both we work full time. Places around here frown on that because then the dogs are "locked up all day". I don't think me going home on lunch for an hour will be good enough for them. And I don't want to go full puppy again. A "teen" dog with some chill would be great.

    @galactickates omg she haaates being blown on. Sometimes if she's in my lap or I'm holding her, I'll blow on her ears and then pretend I didn't. It infuriates her. And she hates if the wind blows from behind, but she loves it if the wind blows on her face.

    @doxiemoxie212 I'm laughing so hard because I do the same thing. I always try to pretend it wasn't me because I'll get the "How dare you!" face. Lol but same thing loooooves sticking get head out the car window.

    @galactickates omg omg, does Lucy like whimper and whine for the window to go down? Wookie will ask politely, and then less politely if she's ignored, and then she'll just start crryyyyyiinnnggg if whoever is holding her won't put the window down for her. But like, girl, I'm not putting the window down on the freeway for you! Shush! Dachshunds are so funny.

    @doxiemoxie212 of course she does!  She has the whimper then "listen to me" bark down.  Buster on more then one occasion has just helped himself and rolled the window down. Lol sometimes we have to lock them.  Omg seriously loving our doxie love fest right now. Buster does this thing where he gets on your eye sight if he wants something.  Lol he'll no joke be across the room trying to get your attention stamping his feet. "I know you see me"  :D

    @galactickates I just find it so hysterical how similar dachshunds are. They're such goofballs. Ugh I want another one, but Wookie would just get so mad.... we keep thinking maybe she'd be fine with a puppy because it might not try to sniff her butt, and it would be so much smaller, and she could be the boss... but IDK.

    @eleven_ Based on his size, he's probably a mix but we did get him from the Aussie rescue in our state. We think that's what Sasha is mixed with as well! Such cute, fun dogs!
