That brown dog is me every morning. Especially today though because my brain decided to compound DST with not turning off enough for me to fall asleep until after 1am!
Omg so our phones don't hang up at work automatically and I almost yelled "that's right!" After hanging up with a vendor that was over charging us. They are giving us some credits. Then I heard the crinkle of their phone hanging up and realized they would have totally heard that. Thank god for self control.
I’m on hour 14 of work today....this should be a crime especially the Monday of DST. I also had to re-arrange my weekend plans due to a work trip next week. It’s going to work out for the better but I’m still bummed ☹️
I may have just turned his into my Monday BF instead of weekly randomz
I'm going to be late to work again because I'd rather sit on the couch and browse TB than get my ass out the door. Has everyone seen the mental load comic? I was talking about it with my therapist yesterday, and he was identifying with my husband. I told him he should go home and do laundry

@eleven_@galactickates yea, I knew it would be a long day but didn’t expect this long! I’m trying to think today will be better but it’s only 6:15 and my emails are already out of control.
on another note, thanks @galactickates...your FFFC was heard by the inter webs and I’ve had some good entertainment with reading the drivebys lol
@kns1988 I’m the same way, I’m not usually late but just not as early as I could be bc I spend too much time on my phone before getting out of bed
@kns1988 yes! That’s funny that your therapist didn’t get it. I hope he listened to you and got groceries on his way home and did that load of laundry and planned out what they would be doing that weekend and made sure they had enough toilet paper and that the cars didn’t need oil changes........

In other news, I am so desperate for spring. DESPERATE. Winter is lingering foreeeeeeeeeeeever and I checked the weather forecast and there is zero hope in sight. Just overcast and 40-ish degrees for the REST OF MY LIFE. I want to start my gardens, grill steaks and fish and veggies and pineapple slices, and feel the sun on my face, and breathe in the smell of flowers and greenery, and ride my bike down to the community trail, and take long walks during sunset, and walk barefoot through the grass, and see the butterflies and hummingbirds, and take trips to the zoo, and enjoy cocktails on my deck, and do one of my millions of outdoor projects I have planned, and buy a hammock to set up under the big tree in the corner of my yard, and damn it, I just want to feel warm and happy again *runs off to cry*
Meanwhile, I'm still thinking about Trump meeting with NK. I need to stop it. Last cycle, it was best that I didn't read the news.
I'm enjoying my newest binge watch adventure. Teen Wolf.
Oh and I did get off of my butt and clean some today from my list. I totally ordered grocery delivery and idgaf. Trump is in town and it's carmageddon out there. No thank you.
Stop thinking about the news. Breathe.

I'm over today. Left work late for lunch because Finance guy is slow to get me paperwork I needed for bank. Couldn't get out of the lot because of the snow cleaning mess (dealership). Finally got out, bank teller is suuupper chatty. Get home and eat. Stop at Dunkins for an afternoon caffine boost (on the go ordering is dangerous). Get to work and my hot latte is cold, grossly cold. I work all of 3 min, tops, from Dunkins, it should have been ideal drinking temp. I should have known when they questioned hot or iced that they were in the process of messing it up. And now the alarm system is malfunctioning and the beeping is maddening.
@eleven_ Daniel Levy is my spirit animal. Love him! That show is the greatest. I also adore Stevie. Whenever H and I get annoyed with someone we give them the verbal middle finger "warm regards" " best wishes" line.
I learned today that I could put my eye liner pencil in the freezer for 10 minutes before sharpening it. It actually keeps it from crumbling during sharpening. Why have I never heard of this before?!

Speaking of things just recently learned... I make tacos probably 1 once a week at our house. We love them. I had no idea you were supposed to heat the shells up. I learned this when I got taco salad bowls and they were kind of gross. Turns out there are instructions and you're supposed to toast them. Now I throw them in my toaster oven. Completely different experience.
@galactickates I'm literally eating leftover tacos right now, lol. I use soft tortillas, but I still heat them up in a pan before I use them. My husband doesn't like them toasted, which blows my mind.
Oh man, heated tortillas are so delicious. I usually go soft taco because of it... I never realized that if I had just heated my crispy shells they would be just as an enjoyable. Also for all the taco lovers out there... please tell me you've heard the "it's raining tacos" song. It's on YouTube.
taco bot! @galactickates We also make tacos in our house about once a week. Mh will only eat hard shell tacos I'm making them later tonight because of this thread. Y'all my chile relleno is good right now.
I also highly recommend work 'lunch' hio in a parking garage.

@galactickates We have been having corn tortillas lately (tacos every other week here). I should heat them. Once, I dated a Hispanic & he introduced me to warming shells&tortillas. He also taught me to make homemade refried beans. Yummmm
@prpl11butterfly That is so frustrating. The DD I go to messes up my order way too often. I've driven back there multiple times to have them correct my order. Mobile ordering IS dangerous, especially when they have that deal right now that a medium hot or iced is $1.29. I have been way more times than I'd like to admit.
@galactickates OMG. You've been missing out! I always heat mine. It melts the cheese to perfection and makes the tacos nice and crispy. mmmm
