Because it is hard to move on to more random randomness after a post like that, but I do value and appreciate you all for the support that was there right when I needed it, here is my random post for the evening...
My three year old just called me a stupid because he asked for a bowl of cereal but then did not want it so I ate it only to find out that what he wanted was for me to eat the cereal and then feed him the leftover milk by the spoonful. High maintenance child.
Couldn’t resist looking with my Doppler today even though I thought it would be too early, but I found it the heartbeat!! Twice! I even got a video! I’m a great big ball of happy.
@DunkinDecaf My OB got a heartbeat today too at only 10 weeks!
I'm overweight and it's so early, I didn't even want them to try. But I was in the ER on Saturday and the doc there didn't do an ultrasound. My OB was livid. She was going to have to order one if I didn't let them try. I was surprised, I had no idea you could hear anything this early!
I know the food to avoid conversation is a little old, but want to add to it. Last pregnancy, my dr said just be reasonable with stuff (cook soft cheeses u til they bubble, etc.), nobody sits there with goat cheese eating it out of the tub (I did!) & a little is fine, it’s pasturized anyway... and a month later, there was a huge thing in the news about pasturized ricotta being contaminated with listeria. Not trying to scare anybody away from eating anything, but I feel like it’s a good reminder that just because it’s pasturized doesn’t mean it is absolutely safe (& unpasteurized doesn’t necessarily mean it’s unsafe).

My boyfriend just had this conversation with his sister and her wife. The wife is very anti vax but her only back up for her side was the mma fighter whose kid died. And if she were to do her research, they never determined that vaccines caused it.
They are both going to be upset when I ask them to get the TDAP vaccine before this one is due.
I am soooo ready for this weekend. I want to decorate Easter eggs with my toddler who probably won't give any shits. Its more for me but I don't want to have to clean up later either...Hmmmm. Maybe I can convince DH into this too then make him do cleanup. Our local Kroger has an in store egg hunt coming up too, we may try that as well. Anyone going to do anything special for Easter coming up, religious or otherwise?
None of my pants fit. None of them. They're all, like, comically too small. I've been having little meltdowns every time I try to squeeze into my pants because logically I know I can't be any bigger right now because the baby is the size of a raspberry at this point. With my DD, I didn't move into a new pant size until I was 20 weeks and even then I didn't *need* to, I just wanted to wear maternity clothes lol. On the bright side, I tried on a pair of jeans that DF got me that were way too big and they're still way too big so I can't be *that* much bigger already, right?

About a week after my BFP, I went through my closet and literally disposed of half of my clothing because it was too small or I hadn’t worn it in so long. Yesterday, I pulled out a pair of black slacks (that fit six weeks ago), and there was absolutely no way they were going on.
Thankfully, they were not actually the black pants I meant to pull out- because the ones that I meant to pull out are stretchy and comfortable.
@knottieamusements that makes me feel better! Logically I know I shouldn't be that concerned. I know I'm not gaining weight because I'm barely eating. But it's really not fun having nothing to wear! Thankfully DF has been wanting to replace my entire wardrobe since we first started dating, and now he has a reason to

I cleaned out my closet too. Clothes that I've been hoping I'd fit into soon that I know won't fit for the next year. I've already started wearing maternity pants. They're just so much more comfortable. I have a belly to begin with, and I feel like the 5lbs I have gained has all gone there.
Am I going crazy, or did the bump push through an app update? I’m now getting notifications when I open the group (as opposed to only when I was already active in the group), and there are icons showing who has loved comments. I totally don’t remember the icons before....
@sammierose464 I'm currently wearing those way too large jeans because there's no way I'm squeezing back into those hell pants. No way. I already have quite a large tummy from being overweight + being pregnant before. I didn't gain any additional weight besides the weight of my uterus + DD + fluid with DD but my belly is somehow bigger regardless lol

@knottieamusements I’ve always had the icons. But I hate the app so I just keep it open in my browser. The app was garbage last time around. I just gave up.
@ninji15 Our local mothers of multiples club is having an Easter Egg hunt at the football stadium. Hoping I don’t feel awful, because I really want to go. We missed the stadium tour this year because we were out of town and my guys (including my husband) love checking out the locker rooms etc. (although I’m not sure if we’ll be in the locker rooms this time or just eating in the cafeteria and then hunting on the field).
My cat is being so nice and sitting on my lap whenever I sit down, which is a lot right now. But she's the typical cat that will let you pet her three times then bite!! And her breath stinks! Seriously, don't name your cat after a vampire. Even a nice, loving, mother figure vampire.
We're at work with DF until midnight and he ordered five guys for us but they RAN OUT OF CHEESE so I can't get the grilled cheese I ordered and my only other options are pretzels and clementines. I am in tears. Ridiculous, hungry, hormonal tears.

what on earth is with all of the fast food ingredient shortages lately? this is UNACCEPTABLE.
I told DH that I really wanted an Auntie Anne's pretzel tonight. We had to drop SS off with his mom and when we left he headed for Meijer to get me one... But forgot the one where he was headed doesn't have the stand inside. Instead he took me to speedway to get me one. It was heavenly.

Who else is having food aversions to all non-fruit food all day every day? The only way to sneak protein into my stupid nauseous face is by putting Greek yogurt in smoothies. My whole house smelled like bacon today and I had to open windows in 30 degree weather because the smell of BACON was so gross. I’m losing my mind.
