@LC12261012 no lights here, it's actually back in a room we use for storage since DD wouldn't leave it alone during Christmas. I took all the ornaments off and packed them, but breaking it down and wrapping it up just seems like a bigger chore than it's worth!
I love ambrosia salad but have a pineapple and coconut allergy. I'm not above eating mandarin oranges and mini marshmallows in cool whip, though. That might happen this weekend

I am a fan of 70s Soft Rock favorites and all this Ambrosia talk has "How Much I Feel" By Ambrosia stuck in my head! https://https//youtu.be/MOo9iJ8RYWM
I didn't used to like oatmeal raisin cookies, as I thought the raisins ruined a perfectly good oatmeal cookie. But I grew up I guess. Just don't put too many in and we're okay. And drunk raisins (raisins soaked in bourbon overnight) are a necessity for my bread pudding. heh
All this food talk has me really hungry this afternoon. Give me all the nuts, raisins, chocolate or vanilla flavored things, and jello you all don't want! Anything is better than this apple that is sitting on my desk and is my only afternoon snack option.
Don't think I have an UO today. I will eat basically anything as long as it is something that is traditionally food.
Just checking in today and I got all excited that UO was already on page two. I'm really disappointed that it's just jello, chocolate and marshmallows lol
haha @hardlyhannah I worked for a Catholic company before. I think they just assumed based on my looks. I played along because the company was doing good things, regardless of religion.
On the Nutella topic: I have heard multiple people in this country pronounce it "Noo-tella" and not "Nut-ella" - like wtf?? Is it made from frigging Hazelnoots??
@LC12261012 definitely not lit anymore, but the ornaments are still on. I finally started packing up Christmas decorations last week but very slowly. I basically will do any other chore first. The last time I did this was when I was pregnant with my second - so maybe it's one of my pregnancy symptoms? Lol
ha, DS will eat the raisins for you all day. Raisins are great kid snack! No need to keep cold, don't have to cut them, I almost always have a small bag in my purse. How much does that gross you out?

My kids actually love raisins too and I give them to them all the time but don't you dare make me eat them or even think about eating them.
I used to be in the "medium well" camp for the longest time - then I stopped eating red meat all together for a while. NOW I love a good medium steak with lots of fat! Yum, we're taking the fam out tonight to surprise everyone with the sex of the baby and now I might just have to get a steak!
I like vanilla AND chocolate but my favorite is mint chocolate chip. Also, now I want a root beer float.
YES I hate it when people ruin perfectly good desserts with nuts. DH puts nuts in his side of the brownie pan and mine stays clear and nut-free. I do like a certain salad from a certain restaurant that has almond slivers in it and it's DELISH.
I like egg salad, and potato salad. I usually hate eggs but LOVE them if they're hard boiled with a little bit of salt.
I also like Jello, but only the orange flavor. I had kidney stones back in September and for about 2 weeks all I wanted was orange jello and snack pack chocolate pudding cups.
I guess my U/O is that I HATE Dunkin Donuts coffee. I know a ton of people prefer DD over SBUX, but it tastes like an old rotten tire to me.
We don’t say that where I’m from. For example: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=5Fv5c3YuWMk (from the official UK and a Ireland Nutella channel). And in that article it says: “In the UK we call it and pronounce it ‘Nutella’ as do consumers. The US pronunciation is just for them.”
I suppose we’ll have to agree to disagree. I’ll go bake some brownies with some noots in them as a peace offering. Maybe I’ll add peanoot butter too.
@hardlyhannah Woah that's magic! I don't examine things too closely when they come out but I've never noticed that. Beets however, will make a scary lookin diaper!
@scottishlass1213 Yeah, I'm gonna have to agree with @Firemanswife11 and say you're way wrong. Although salsa (or Cholula) on hashbrowns and eggs wins over every other condiment.
@calimom2524 I make fun of H because his mom was the one who always passed out boxes of raisins on Halloween. His family was the super 'healthy' house everyone else would avoid.
Re: U/O 3/8
I can’t believe anyone still has a Christmas tree up in March. I take mine down before the new year so that is so crazy to me. Do you still light it?
@mrsbubbles-2 I don't get the Nutella hype either.

I loved whipped cream on jello, but Cool Whip absolutely ruins it for me.

Cool whip is a cruel imitation of what whipped cream is supposed to taste like.
Just no.
