Re: Introductions
Baby #2 EDD is 9/20. Definitely a shock still, but a happy one! 2 under 2 is going to be interesting lol!
I'm a second time mom, 39, so advanced maternal age, previous history of preeclampsia. My kiddo is a rambunctious 2ish year old and is a delight and a terror as all toddlers are.
This pregnancy is way unplanned. Very much wanted, but way unplanned. Hopefully it's a strong sticky baby because it's already facing some challenges. Until yesterday I still had an IUD correctly in place. I'm told those bad boys are like 99.4% effective and there's no room for user error.... Hi! I'm the other .6%
I'm about 5 weeks along, so due towards the end of September
So, hello and nice to meet you all
MH and I have been trying and wishing and hoping since October 2016. I was on Letrozole since July and I was crushed and disappointed every month. In November we were blessed right before we were going to book and pay for an IUI with Gonal and Ovidrel for December. The morning of our appt, I would not believe my eyes, my period was a day late, so I thought well.. POAS and saw a faint positive. I was overjoyed and shocked and so so happy and unaware that my worst fear would come true. About a week later when I was told it was likely a CP and that I would miscarry in the coming days. I was an absolute mess over the holidays. Not us, we tried so hard, we fought for this in my mind, we did not deserve this. No one does. I had a feeling of hope around New Years and decided to try to be normalish again. New year new me..Take it day by day. We will get our baby. We will try again and do IUI in Feb or March after a break.
I got a BFP on January 16th. Another miracle. I was shocked ( since we tried every month since Oct 2016 and last few months were medicated cycles ). The loss is still so fresh for me. I am trying not to let the anxiety and fear of what may happen take over me. I am so so protective and cautious and just feel so incredibly lucky to be pregnant each day.
Wishing you all the best 9 months xox
Stephanie.

I'm a 37 year old STM in the Denver area. DH and I have a 20 month old DD, 2 St. Bernards and a cat. I was part of the May 16 BMB (did not stumble upon it until half way through my pregnancy though) and moved to the FB group after birth, but I took a year+ break from FB and I'm really missing those May mommas and babes! Anywhoo, we got our BFP Monday night after a really weird cycle and thinking I was moving on to the next cycle of TTC...a lovely turn of events! Wishing you ALL a H & H 9 months!
ETA: Thinking my EDD is 9/23, but will know more after my first appointment on 2/13.

Nice to meet all of you
I am a full time SAHM to my 2.5 year old daughter and 7 year old son. I had my first US appt at 8 weeks and got to see baby and flickering heartbeat ♥️ Excited to find out the gender already! Congrats to all you other mamas and nice to meet you all
Really excited for this journey, but also paranoid about every little pain I have. Looking forward to having a group of people going through it at the same time.
I’m 6 weeks, 3 days pregnant with my second child. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I was very active on the April 2013 board (different user name) and found it really helpful. Our group moved to Facebook and those ladies have become such great friends and an unparalleled support group - we even have yearly meet ups where 20ish women fly from all over the country to spend a long weekend together. My husband’s face was priceless when I told him I was flying from SoCal to Chicago to spend the weekend with a bunch of women I’d only ever interacted with on the internet. Anyway, I’m hoping this group will be as awesome, or at least as helpful on this new and exciting journey. A little about me, I’m 37 and love great food, wine, traveling, snowboarding, lounging on a beach... I was born and raised in the LA area, went to college in NYC, moved back to SoCal where I met my husband (been together 11 years, married 6). We decided to move back to Brooklyn where our daughter was born. I was lucky enough to have an uncomplicated pregnancy and was able to have the home birth I wanted. We’re back on the west coast and I’m hoping for another home birth this time around. Looking forward to getting to know everyone ❤️
I am pregnant with #2. DS is almost 14months old. My due date according to lmp was Aug 23, but ultrasound moved it to Sept 4th☺ looking forward to the months ahead with you gals
I go to the doctor tomorrow, but based off my LMP, it's look like Sept. 28. I would normally assume I'm going to be October since my cycles are long, but I also have a feeling I'll need a repeat C-section so going to stick around here for a while. Yay!
This baby is due Sept 21st, first OB appt will be Valentine's Day!
I'm 31. Hubby and I live in the Denver/Boulder area. Originally from the midwest. I work and hubby is a SAHD.
I have really been feeling the symptoms of the first trimester. Nausea has been a killer and to add to that, the fatigue makes me pretty darn lazy! I’m counting down the days to the second trimester but trying to embrace every moment.
I look forward to hearing all of your stories. Boy does it help to know I’m not alone in this!
I'm loving all the discussion here. I look forward to sharing with you all. Thanks for your posts, I am learning so much from you all.
Take good care!

TTC has been a journey for us. MMC before my daughter and then when I was pregnant the second time was diagnosed with a septate uterus which made me high risk and the likely cause of the miscarriage. In and out of the hospital last pregnancy, thought they’d have to take her at 30 weeks but she hung on tight and made it full term. Had a corrective surgery on my uterus this summer and am praying hard that that’s enough to make this pregnancy go smoothly! This baby is a Femara baby and we’re eagerly awaiting our first ultrasound next week. Can’t wait to get to know you all!
In addition it will be nice to tell people until the 12 week mark.
Looking forward to hearing from you all. And congratulations!
