@sjn00 That's so true. Offices are so different. My office is fantastic but anytime I have to deal with their quest diagnostics lab, there is always an issue.
Still haven't heard anything so I'm hoping that I passed.
I passed! Woohoo! I failed the one hour with ds and had to do the 3, but no problems at all with the 1 hour this time.
With the ones who are retesting for borderline results, when I failed with ds the labs cutoff was 140, and my reading was 138. My doc said the false negative rate above 130 is like 30% so she prefers to be overly cautious and test again vs running the risks of going undiagnosed
@btm013 omg I failed my 2nd pregnancy glucose test by 3 points!!! Passed my 3 hour one but it was awful. Failed this one by 9 points so we'll see. Still waiting on lab paperwork in the mail. Feel weird almost 30 weeks and this isn't resolved. Don't remember doing the glucose tests this late in my other pregnancies but may be I did?
I pushed back on my doctor about the 3 hour test for an alternative and they are going to finger stick me this week instead. I didn't get the exact number of how I was "slightly over" but I'll likely hear about it at my Dr. Appt on Thursday. My luck...I'll probably still have to do the three day diet/3 hour test. Sigh...
Just got the dreaded call from my hospital! I took my 1 hr last night, and they called today to say it was borderline so they'd like to do the 3 hr test. I passed the 1 hr with my first son, so I don't know what to expect this time!

@growingournest sorry to hear that. Bring snacks with you so that way when you are done you can eat something. Also I don't know if your hospital will let you have water during the 3 hour but I would bring some just in case. Good Luck
Just did the three hour this morning and thankfully passed all four draws! It wasn’t the that bad. I highly recommend Netflix or Hulu to pass the time! Good luck!!
I failed by 1 hour by 9 points.. Took the 3 hour and passed it fine. My last draw on the 3 hour was extremely low, but my doctor didn't even mention it to me. I only know bc results posted on my online chart. Makes sense though. By then I hadn't eaten in 15 hours. All in all the test wasn't that bad til the very 2nd when I got really dizzy. Drs said no food or drink but the guy at the test said water was fine as long as I sipped on it. And gave me an orange juice when I was done. Didn't feel good the rest of the day but it wasn't as bad as I expected and good to know I passed.
@Dumbgurl04 Thanks for the advice to bring snacks for afterward and water in case they'll let me have it! When you did the 3 hour, did you feel crappy at all from having to fast and then only have the glucose drink all that time? I'm trying to decide whether it would be wise of me to take the whole day off of work in case I am not feeling well after.
btm013 Yay! Congrats on passing! Great idea bringing netflix to pass the time!! I'm hoping to do some serious damage on writing my sub plans for leave with all that free time too!

@growingournest I took the whole day off every time I had to do a 3 hour. I didn't feel completely awful but I was in no mood to go to work and try and focus. So taking the day off and being able to go and eat afterwards (without having to rush) and then going home for a little bit to just relax was very much needed. Also my work was probably a good 30-45 minutes away from my hospital so wasn't really worth it to drive that far to work for a few hours then travel another 30 minutes home.
