Hey everyone! We hit a heat wave in Green Bay today of 45°! So we went to breakfast and then the Zoo. Great family day! I then motivated my 5 year old to clean the living room (since Momma is lazy right now) by letting her have the new playdoh her Godmother got her. It worked GREAT! Trying to bunker down for the fun snow we are supposed to start getting tomorrow.
I'm a NCAA fan, so I don't have any football to look forward to until the baby comes! I may watch when I get home just to see the outcome. I don't have any particular allegiances, though.

Watching the playoffs (also a Pats fan!!) while DH and DS take a nap together. Unfortunately with the flu cleared up, my food aversions are in full gear so no fun snacks here. Oh and I’m getting way more excited than I should be about celebrity Big Brother!!!
I love me some Big Brother too!! Are you watching the Amazing Race with Jessica and Cody?
Thank the Lord that the Pats won. I would have been fucking miserable living with my husband for the foreseeable future if they had lost. A lot of F bombs were dropped in front of the kid today #oops
@scottishlass1213 I don't watch Big Brother, but I love The Amazing Race. Last week DH said to me "For a reality show couple, they seem pretty normal, or at least functional. " I agreed with him. Were they ok on BB? They seem to get along and not scream at each other, making them better than 99% of all reality show couples I've seen.

I watched Big Brother until DD1 was born, but then she was a June baby and I just didn't have time to keep up that summer, and I wound up just dropping it all together. The celebrity version they do in other countries uses an extremely loose definition of the word celebrity so I wonder how that will go. Also I will be pissed if they consider Frankie Grande a celebrity for this thing. That guy was the worst and I don't think "dude with a you tube channel whose sister is famous" qualifies anyone as a Celebrity.
I'm thinking it will be a lot of random reality TV stars. Like Scott Disick level reality stars, at best.
@mrsbubbles-2 I thought Cody was the biggest douche to start with on B.B. but then he seemed almost he most normal by the end and he was cracking me up
I’m with @msmonalisavito. I only pretend to care about sports for the snacks. And I only pretend around others because FFFC/UO I hate sports. If DH had been a huge football fan I probably wouldn’t be with him. Sometimes he’ll turn on a game and I start interrogating him like a detective “why are you watching that? What’s wrong with you? Is this a new thing because it better the hell not be!?”
I don’t watch much tv that isn’t NFL football. Lol. I can never chime in about tv shows. i didn’t use to be this way. But three kids and I just don’t have time anymore.
I called my insurance to see if they'll cover the NIPT and they said I'm covered so now I have to check with my doctor that it will get coded right. I'm crossing my fingers it's taken care of, since it will give me such peace of mind (and knowing what we're having will be pretty nice).

Sorry I was mia, I refuse to look at my phone while my team is playing haha. What a game, huh @ecwk and @mrsbubbles-2?!? We watched the game at my parents house and it was so much fun curled up on the couch with DH and my dad pacing back and forth. He almost broke the ceiling light again like he did last year during the Super Bowl from throwing his arms in the air lol. Poor DH is so upset about his Vikings but the kiddo decided last year he’s an eagles fan so he was all happy when he woke up and I told him. Now I just need to find him an eagles shirt to wear when we watch the Super Bowl!
I'm late catching up on this thread... busy weekend since the weather was finally warm (50F, which is warm for us!) and also GOOOO EAGLES!!!
@derbysquirrel Squeee! Fluff butts forever! That's a great score. I have avoided getting a sprayer and use my shower head instead. It's a little bit of a pain, so i'm thinking of getting one soon. But, I viewed it as another way to save $$.
@brzvice I LOVE deviled eggs. I don't make them often enough really. Last time I made them, they were super watery too. It was just us, so I just got out some salami and smoked cheddar cheese and some pita chips. It was really delish. Then, we ordered pizza.
@hoodwink89 We went to the zoo on Sunday too! This January heat wave feels so incredible! Our zoo has a baby gorilla that my DS (and me!) was enamored with.
