OMG, you guys! Look at all these diapers! I'm more excited than I should be, but for $150 I have everything I'll ever need! I just need a sprayer and I'm set
There are 60 diapers + inserts, 11 wet bags (4 xtra large) and wipes/liners/flour sack towels. The diapers are "one size" from 8-30 lbs. I may have to do disposable before the cord falls off.

@hezzer78 no, her name actually starts with an H, but the alliteration is absolutely something I would do! I’ll have to keep that in mind for her next party! Hamburgers, hot dogs, and hot fudge sundaes
@derbysquirrel that’s awesome! I clothed DS2 for over a year and I loved it. I eventually stopped cuz my ex inlaws were our daycare and they refused to do it so it just wasn’t worth the work as a part time thing. Diaper sprayer is LIFE haha
My mom is coming over to marathon Grace and Frankie while DH is doing a day boys’ trip with some friends to see a college basketball game. I also realized that I bought my wedding dress a year ago today and now here I am lounging in maternity leggings and planning a baby sex reveal, time flies!
Wow, that's so fast! DH and I have been together for 13 years, and married for 5 1/2!
Me:32 DH:45 DSD: 20 DSS: 18 Team green baby due: Aug 6th, 2018
My sister gave me the fetal Doppler she used when she was pregnant on Christmas Day. This evening, we tried it for the first time. It took two YouTube videos, 20m of probing, and a lot of “no that’s me” and a lot of mini anatomy lessons for DH. But we found it! I never knew I would love a sound so much. And since it’s after midnight, I’m now officially 11 weeks. Time for bed tho.
Update: another night another dream. This time my midwife called and said “congratulations it’s a girl!” Went on to say that the risks came back good, in my dream I write down ‘720” lol. But after that she kept saying he and boy and I was like wait is it a boy or girl and she wouldn’t answer and then we got disconnected.
i really hope I hear earlier rather than later bc good lord.
Good morning! I did early morning duty with the kids this morning, and now that DH is up, I’m going back to bed. I even slept well last night, but I’m just...too...tired.
I really want want to go shopping for baby, but it’s so early. This pregnancy just doesn’t seem real to me yet and I feel like that will help. But, I don’t know what I’d even buy...some gender neutral onesies or something.
But, I promised a trip to the zoo to DS1. It’s the polar bear’s 7th birthday and she’s getting a special polar bear cake. lol
@F47 I'm in the same boat - want to to buy some stuff, but what do I get? I have a lot of friends that have told me they would give me a bunch of stuff, but do I want what they have? I saw in the paper this morning Target has a coupon for a 20$ gift card if you spend 100$ on baby stuff. I kind of want to do that - maybe I'll just stock up on diapers and bottles or something.

That sounds adorable. I want to go to the polar bears birthday!!!
DH went to jiu jitsu class, so I got up and made myself a snack and decided to lay back down. He won't be home for two hours, so I have plenty of time to get up and pretend I'm not horribly lazy before he gets in.
My all day sickness was the worst yesterday- I couldn't even finish my matzo ball soup or touch my pastrami. We're going to my in-laws for dinner tonight, so I'm hoping the nausea won't be so bad today. Especially because my MIL knows I hate fish but always makes fish.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
@F47 I’m itching to get something too. This is by far the last bfast I’ve waited to shop... every other kid I got something like IMMEDIATELY. So I have a few things squirreled away that I got from my losses... luckily all Hanna so I can easily sell or return (I got a boy and girl thing each time) since boy girl and seasons may be off - but I couldn’t bring myself to do anything with.
I have some girl things hidden hidden away I bought when I was preg with my youngest (who I *knew* was a girl... eye roll) when Vera Bradley was ending their baby (girl) line.
Once i I find out the sex I’m getting something immediately. I won’t need much if it’s a boy but I have a little outfit I saw that I love for fall. And if it’s a girl... yikes.
Mostly i am itching to start going through all my bins and purging whatever is wrong sex or season.
@F47 I feel the same way! It still feels a little surreal, so I thought if I buy a few things it’ll sink in more?! I’m not sure what I would buy since we will be reusing a lot of DS basic things until we find out the sex. That Target deal is always a good one though! We had a attach to the chair high chair last time since we were in a small condo and had a small eat in kitchen. We have more space in our house now, so I do want to get a normal high chair this time around. Any suggestions or tell me about ones you love? I want to stay relatively lower on cost since it’ll not be reused after #2.

@Firemanswife11 I feel the same way about this "fat stage." One of the great things about people knowing that im pregnant now is that I'm hoping they will assume its baby and not just me being fat. I had put on ~8 unwanted pounds in the year before I got pregnant, so its definitely only compounded the problem!
Hoping to be bumping along soon and feeling better about it!
I woke up today and I feel like a new person. I got laundry done, cleaned the bathroom and cleaned my daughters bedroom from head to toe. This was all before 12:00 pm. I am so happy, I am starting to feel better. I hope I don’t pay for it later. I am two days from 11 weeks so I hope this will last. I have neglected my house for the past three months.
We were super busy yesterday so today we're basically being lazy. My mom called and said she wants to take the girls for ice cream today and would I want to join.
Ummmm, would there be any other answer other than yes?

I am a day ahead of you (will be 11 weeks tomorrow) and feel the same, yesterday I did laundry and some cleaning while watching TV instead of laying on the couch like a lump and today I am doing some work and don't feel like going back to bed/dying. FX it lasts for both of us!

@ssthomps and @legallykate I have been feeling the same way! I'm 11+1 and have felt much better energy wise (with only 1 bout of real nausea) the last 2 days. FX that it sticks around for all of us!
@hezzer78 Thanks for the heads up o the Target deal. Never a bad idea to start stocking up on diapers! And, maybe they will scratch the itch a little.
@pghctwife totally with you. I’ll need very little if it’s a boy, but if it’s a girl...all the clothes!
We also will need another crib because DS2 will still be in his when #3 comes along. I’m just planning to buy a cheap one for baby to use until DS2 outgrows his.
DS and I both came down with colds. I have body aches, an awful cough and a low grade fever which I’ve practically kicked. But poor DS he looks miserable. His fever just won’t get below 102 even though we rotated Advil and Tylenol.
I haven't had caffeine since the first week of December, and I just drank a quarter of a bottle of Honest Tea Black Tea Lemonade (my fave) and I feel super energized. I also feel like Satan for drinking caffeine while pregnant (even though it's only 46mg per bottle), but I'm so tired of water and ginger ale.

Get the $20 one from ikea. It's so easy to clean and doesn't have all the nonsense you don't need. Light enough to bring to different rooms super easily or bring outside during the summer and hose it down to clean. I love it

Seriously, don’t feel bad. I have coffee almost every day. The fact that you survived so long without caffeine is a miracle.

@jsnakehole with DS I didn’t drink caffeine until the second trimester and then I would get a small latte from Starbucks like once a week, which I looked up before hand to make sure it was okay. This poor kid. I drink a cup of coffee daily. And it’s a big cup, so not an actual cup at all. You’re totally okay!
@Krysta6 oh no! I hope you feel better soon and that your son does too! I hate when fevers won’t go down!
I want to buy something for the baby too, but now that I know it’s a boy, we don’t need much. Once I sort through DS’s stuff, I can figure out some things I want to get.
I'm excited for these football games! I made deviled eggs for a game time snack. My diet has consisted of little to no protein lately so I'm glad these actually sound good to me.
Who are you all rooting for and whatcha snacking on?!
@amac12999 my mom keeps reminding me that she drank coffee and smoked cigarettes the whole time she was pregnant with me, so I shouldn't worry. I told her that's why I have horrible anxiety- my heart rate has been elevated since before I was born!

made DS buff chick dip and we’re gonna order pizza too. We also have cookies. So yeah

@jsnakehole I am impressed you can function without caffeine! I max out my 200 mg every day, I figure if my OB says 200 mg is safe that is probably a conservative estimate. Pre-pregnancy I probably easily drank 500 mg, so functioning with only 200 mg has been a struggle, I think I would be catatonic if I went cold turkey.

@legallykate I used to be on 20 oz of Diet Coke a day. I started reducing when we started seriously TTC and then cut it all out after my Clomid cycle. I'm barely functioning most days.
I already told my best friend that I need her to bring me a Diet Coke when she comes to visi me in the hospital. That, and a cheese and charcuterie plate.

@jsnakehole I'm on no caffeine as well. I'm high risk and under the care of an RE right now and she has said to avoid it all together. Probably being overly cautious, but I follow what she says - except some mornings I have a 1/4 caff/ 3/4 decaff cup of coffee I used to drink a lot of coke zero, though.
@F47 We went to target and I ended up not using the coupon. It felt a bit premature buying stuff at 9w - I think I need to wait til 2nd tri before I do any of that. Just for my own piece of mind, I guess/
