@runsomewhere I actually love my hair short too, and I kind of miss it, but sometimes I have to go for practicality. For example, I love wearing front bangs, but I live in Southern California- which means it's basically too hot to have hair sitting on my forehead from May to October! I wouldn't cut my hair short if I didn't like it that way too. I'm kind of indecisive at the moment! Leaving it long for now since it looks nice and healthy.
@Crystal321 I find with very long hair, stylists seem to either get scissor-happy or get too nervous to take anything off! Sorry your unhappy with your cut but I bet the prenatals will boost your growth, speeding it up!
My postpartum hair was horrible, the texture just got really gross. It stayed that way until I got pregnant this time, and now it's better than it ever was. Not looking forward to what it does post baby.
So I'm lying in bed awake at 1:30am because I just had the most terrifying experience. When my son was an infant we used the Angel Sense monitor, which has a motion detector under the crib mattress with an alarm that goes off if baby stops breathing. Well when he got older we removed the motion sensor but kept the nursery unit in his room for the nightlight but kept the alarm part turned off. Every night before I put him to bed I always check to make sure it's firmly on the floor and not touching anything because I'm paranoid like that and want to make sure nothing will switch the alarm on. Tonight was no exception, especially since my husband had been vacuuming in there today, I specifically remember checking. It was on the rug touching nothing. I was the last person in there. So at 1am, we are fast asleep and get woken up by an alarm going off in the nursery. I bolt in there terrified and see the Angel Sense is knocked over, inside one of his toy bins!!!! Thankfully I turned it off and my son fell back asleep quickly after crying some, but I can't for the life of me figure out what happened and can't sleep. How did it move from the rug, into a toy bin, and suddenly get switched on hours later? And knocked onto its side? Anyone here believe in ghosts...?
