Hey everyone! I also got my BFP on Christmas Eve and somehow kept the secret from my husband for a full 24 hours so I could surprise him on Christmas Day. I am a STM, with a 13 month old DD. My first appt and ultrasound isn't until Jan. 22nd, so I think that's when this will really sink in. My EDD is September 4th. I lurked a bit towards the end of my first pregnancy and learned so much so I'm excited to participate in a BMB this time!
Hi, Mom of two girls (10 and 7) and so happy to finally be expecting number 3. EDD is 9/8; first ultrasound is on the 25th. Trying to update my username...I set it as this when I just wanted access to the information.
Hello! I’m a STM. Our son is 15 months old. The new bean’s EDD is 9/8. Got the BFP on 12/29, and we will have blood work retested on Friday. Our first u/s will be in the week of the 25th. So far everything looks positive, and we are so happy to be expecting again.
Hi - my name is Cyndie. I am 36 years old so AMA plus high risk for multiple other reasons
I’m cautiously joining - first beta was today but I’ve gotten multiple positive hpts
i hope I get to stick around

I am an RN and I work in trauma/ER and a little bit of ICU. We have two girls, our first is 3.5 and second is 1.5. Looking forward to getting to know everyone!
@southernlady07 and @BusinessWife Congratulations! It's so good to see more TTGP ladies on BMBs. I know I wasn't on TTGP long, but everyone was so nice to me and I'm rooting so hard for everybody.
Hi everyone! Took a pregnancy test New Year's Eve and well here I am! Due date is September 1 based on my last AF but I don't have a doctor appointment for a couple weeks. I have an almost-5 year old who has been asking me for a sibling for the longest and a husband who is super excited. I'm still in a little shock!! Congrats to you all
What a way to ring in the new year! Are you going to tell your 5 year old the news in a creative way? I’m sure their reaction will be priceless since they’ve been asking for a sibling.
@xxkberxx You know I haven't decided how to tell her yet. I think I'll wait until I'm ready to tell people because I know she'll tell anyone she can haha. I can see being out with friends and her blurting it out, or telling people at her school...so I have some time to think about it, but if you have any ideas please do share!
@Lucky2K13 I’m in the same boat with my 5 yo DD! I would love for her to be the first to know, but she will definitely tell her friends who will tell their parents (our friends) before we are ready. We are going on a trip with my family for my Mom’s milestone birthday the week before our first appointment and are planning to tell my parents then, and then will probably tell DD after we hear the heartbeat. Would love to hear how your DD responds when you tell her! Is she asking for a little brother/sister or a sibling in general? Ours really wants a little sister!

Hey ladies! STM and very excited to be expecting #2! I got my BFP on 12/26 after trying desperately not to think about it for 2 days. Planned on some elaborate way to tell DH but I basically blurted it out 5 minutes later.
DS should be about 2.5 by EDD of 9/3, but he was 13 days late so I'm anticipating closer to mid Sept.

Hello everyone. I am a STM living in the Baltimore area MD. I am a nurse but not currently working. Our EDD is Sept 6, 2018. Been waiting for the Sept board to come up.
I found out on Christmas eve when DH was getting ready for work. (I cheated before blood test). We couldn't believe it. Beta on Tuesday was 1146 @14dp5dt. 2nd beta tomorrow. RE is worried about twin pregnancy because we transfered 2 embies.
I have 3 yr old DS. This is our third pregnancy and fourth cycle through IVF. Our 3rd cycle failed in Sept 2017. I have PCOS and I've been growing polyps like weed. I have had 4 hysterescopy. I'm currently on Metformin till 10 weeks before switching to something else. I was a very high risk with DS pregnancy in and out of hospital due to GD and PIH, preterm labor. I'm super anxious this time around because I'm going to have a cerclage due to preterm labor.
TW Loss** I miscarried triplet pregnancy back in 2013. So, I'm anxiously taking it one day at a time. ** End TW - Sorry for my long story. Excited to get to know all of y'all!
@megnwingate That was a very good beta. As long as it is doubling every 48 hrs. Hopefully, they will check the 3rd time which I believe will be perfect as well
Hi I'm Kat I'm 28 and live I the UK. I'm due on the 4th of September but by my opk dates I think it should be the 9th.
This is my second pregnancy, with my previous ending in a loss at 7 weeks in July. Hence feeling quite scared about this one but also excited. It's been a bit tough since I found out last week, I had complications with my misscarriage and was very I'll, being pregnant again has brought back a lot if stuff I'd tried to forget about.
Trying to let go though and remember that this is a new egg, a new sperm and a new pregnancy. The signs are all good, I've had symptoms faster than last time and never felt so glad to be feeling sick. After a few days of being very worried I'm starting to feel more positive.
@bissie17. Congratulations!!! Keeping fx for a great beta for you today ❤
@knottie3e566d94ffbb15fd. Welcome! I love your attitude about reminding yourself this is a new pregnancy and a fresh slate. (((Hugs)))
You may want to take a moment to head over to the Knot, update your username to something easier for us all to tag, log out of the Bump, and then log back in again. Phew! The knottie+alpha-numeric usernames are just so tough lol
I’m expecting our second. Found out on 12/22 after my first cycle of having my Mirena removed. Surprised DH on Christmas. I live in Colorado and am a WAHM.
Hi! STM here. Got our BFP on New Years Eve-Eve (Saturday). Our son is 4 so it’s been a long time since I’ve been on these boards. My old stomping ground was Oct. 2013 BMB.
EDD is Sept. 8th. Will have blood work done this coming week to confirm pregnancy.
Live in Ontario, Canada. I’m 33 and a Florist. Our son was diagnosed last February with Autism. We are at a higher risk of having siblings with ASD so we are a little nervous of the unknown but excited all the same to give our son a sibling.

I am a STM, from the frigid midwest! I have a 10 month old daughter and was active on the February 2017 BMB. This pregnancy is a semi-surprise as we were NTNP. Based on LMP, my due date is September 15, but based on OPK (and, in turn, when I first turned a home test positive), I think it'll be closer to September 11. I'm a little nervous for 2u2, but it took us over 9 months to have a healthy viable pregnancy with our first so I feel incredibly blessed by this surprise and have my fingers crossed this is also a viable pregnancy.
I am also incredibly excited for a summer pregnancy! I was not thrilled with winter coats, shoving my swollen feet in boots, and the ice/snow during the last pregnancy...bring on the maxi dresses!!
southernlady07 She has actually been referring to her "baby brother" for maybe 4 or 5 months now. She says things like "this toy is for my baby brother" or "I'm going to share this with my baby brother." In holiday projects at her daycare she'd draw 4 people- my husband and I, her, and a baby. Wouldn't it be crazy if it was a boy?!
@AdmiralKitty yes I was N16, although I didn't find the board til late in my pregnancy and don't think I posted much. Doesn't seem that long ago so it's crazy to be back here now!
Hi everyone! Im a STM but this is my first pregnancy. My wife and I adopted DS as a newborn and he is almost 2. For baby #2, we decided to pursue fertility treatments and have me carry. We did medicated IUI cycles and had one CP before getting this BFP on 12/22 (EDD is 9/1). We would not trade our adoption experience for anything, but I’m extremely excited to grow and carry a little one myself this time. Ive been really anxious that something will go wrong and am not letting myself get too excited or attached until after our first ultrasound on 1/10. Counting down the days!
Hello everyone! I'm a pregnant with my second. 5weeks exactly today and due Sept. 6 based on ovulation day.
My first is an awesome 5 year old daughter. We have been trying for many years and have finally beat secondary infertility. This is my first pregnancy in almost 6 years!
Im 29 and the weirdest part to me now is being so much more aware now if everything. The good, the bad, the worst case scenarios. I worry now about everything but seriously need to get this anxiety under control.
So so glad to be here with all you wonderful ladies and I can't wait to learn more about you and watch us all grow. My original Birth month board from 2012 is still an active group of wonderful ladies even though they've now moved over to Facebook.

Hello ladies! I am a STM with my son being 11 months old... So yes, I'll have 2 under 2! I must be crazy. I received my BFP on Christmas Eve and am due 9/6; had been trying for 5 months. We did not know the sex of our first child before his birthday, but this time we will be finding out! I currently work part-time as a Risk Manager living in Milwaukee, but will be quiting to be a stay at home Mom just before we have this baby. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
Hey y'all! Can't believe I'm back on TB! EDD is 9/5 based on lmp, but I'd guess 9/6 or 7 based on my tracking. First appointment is 1/24 and I think I'll have a dating US. Ugh, why do they make us wait so long!? I'm a 30 yr old SAHM from upstate SC. DD is 17 months old today and our world currently revolves around her so this will be an interesting adjustment! I am really close with the ladies from my Aug16 BMB (on fb now) and I'm really hoping I'll strike gold twice and find another wonderful support group with you ladies!
*snip* Im 29 and the weirdest part to me now is being so much more aware now if everything. The good, the bad, the worst case scenarios. I worry now about everything but seriously need to get this anxiety under control.
@mmeross This exactly! I also have a 5 year old daughter and am so much more aware this time around. I am also already worrying about her dealing with the transition to kindergarten and then welcoming a sibling a month later. Trying to relax and not worry so much.

Hi everyone! I live in SoCal with my husband, our 2 kiddos (6 and 2), 2 dogs, desert tortoise and bearded dragon. I’m finishing my final semester of grad school and graduate in May with my MS in Speech Language Pathology but am fortunate enough to have been working on a waiver for the past year and a half on a 60% contract. We experienced secondary infertility with our daughter and did this time as well but it seems that after 14 months, we’ve done it! Shout out to Femara and progesterone! I found out super early at 8dpo and am 11dpo today with a due date of 9/16. Both of our kids came at 37 weeks though due to pre eclampsia issues, so it’s likely that this baby will come at the tail end of August. I had my first blood draw yesterday at 10dpo and my HCG was only 15 so I go back in the morning to see if it’s doubled. I really hope it has because I was finally able to get a positive on a digital this morning and I think my lines are getting darker. I use to be active on TB when I was pregnant with my son 7 years ago and am still really tight with his birth month group
Hi everyone! I've been getting faint BFPs this week (damn my need to test early), but my line at 12DPO is convincing enough so my EDD is 9/16. I'm 28, have an 18 month old DS and 2 crazy labs with my DH. I'm kind of in shock since this was our first cycle trying and it took 3 months last time, but I'm hoping I'll get to stick around! I'm a Registered Dietitian, working and living in upstate NY. Looking forward to being a part of this group!
@starla and @born2run911 this is exciting. My last BMB had no one even remotely close to me. I was like 1 of 2 Canadians on the board. Congratulations ladies!!
First time parent, 32 y/o married lawyer who always thought I'd be childless or adopt until about 6 months ago, going to my doctor's for confirmation (2 crystal clear tests last week) but I think I am right at 5 weeks.
