Re: Weekly Questions 12/18

  • Thanks @abhphilly, that’s really helpful. I’m sorry that you have to take it too, but glad I’m not alone. I’ll be taking the vaginal tablets. My OB wanted to do the gel, but we can’t get it here.

  • @doraleigh35 In that case, I think those are the same that lots of early pregnancy moms use, so there should be a couple people on here that did them and can answer with side effects. :)

  • What are everyone’s thoughts on crib bumpers? I’m nervous because I’ve heard horror stories about children suffocating with bumper pads, but I also don’t want my sons legs/arms to go through the slats.
  • @mmb4532 we did not use them with DS and never had an issue with his arms or legs getting stuck.
  • Thanks @mileswithmyles

I'm starting my registry and as a FTM, I'm overwhelmed with what to register for!

@mmb4532 - We never used them and never had a problem. Our crib set came with them but my MIL make them into valances for the windows. They do make breatheable bumpers but I personally never had any.
  • @cups4

That advice just blew my mind! Thank you!
  • doraleigh35  I took progesterone vaginally for 13 weeks.  NO side effects for me.
  • We did the mesh crib surround as DS got a bit older also probably around 1.  I actually found them to be helpful in his binky not falling between the wall and the crib.
