That's true @acunamatada I didn't think of that. I don't think my O15 BMB ever moved to FB, instead we did a private board on Then Comes Family once TB imploded. I lost track of everyone and regret that!
@amylu914 I totally stalked O15 when I was pregnant with DS. I was in feb16 and it’s dead too. Kinda makes me sad. I know they had a fb group but I opted out of it at the time and I regret that!
I downloaded an app called BabyNames, it's basically Tinder for naming your child. You swipe left if you don't like a name or right if you do. You invite your spouse to the app and then it keeps track of names you both swiped right on. Pretty cool.
@julesf817 did u make the jump to TCF and come back here, or...? I didn't want to follow them when they made their second exodus over the spring/summer so I'm back here. With two moves the old community really died. I think there is another person here from May14 too but I forgot who.
I went to fb and pretty much left here. I heard about all the drama and the jump to TCF but I was off the boards long before that. I used to be super active on the May 14 board because i had an office job. It’s so much harder to navigate these forums on mobile so I’m struggling to o be active on this one!.

LOVE!! @amylu914 I am SO going to check this out! Was just thinking earlier today how we are nowhere on names.
@lindsayleigh1989 I’m sorry you fell! I hope you get some relief soon! I fell once years ago and landed in the middle of one of my butt cheeks. My whole butt was BLACK, and now I have a permanent crease in my butt cheek because of it. It’s so cute lol. Hopefully yours isn’t that bad!
Skimming to catch up and I legit read your post as "My butt whole was BLACK" and I was like, what the hell have I missed here?!?!
Obviously im going to ask the doctor but curious because the 22nd I go for the first part of a sleep study—— not sure if being pregnant will alter results because obviously being pregnant effects sleep quality
Hi ladies, if anyone is interested in prenatal Pilates Robin Long has her series on youtube. I was a member to her sisterhood earlier this year but had to stop due to surgeries. I love her videos since they are short but effective.
Can I AW for a second? After last night's horribleness (non stop puking and painful throat), my husband brought me amazing news today: we have officially paid off ALL of our student loans this month!! We live moderately with a moderate income but managed to pay off a massive amount in just one year. Our original goal was to finish by next Sept, then we bumped it up to Feb18. I'm so happy and immensely grateful for my husband's time and energy into making this happen, and being willing to take on my college debt as well as his. I joked that now we can afford that crazy country club membership I overheard a gymnastics mom bragging about. (JK, nms!) I'm just so happy that we don't have this debt hanging over our heads anymore. We started aggressively paying off the loans 4 years ago, and didn't get help from anyone else to do this.
@wildtot oh awesome! All of my pregnant friends are doing a prenatal yoga class that I’m not able to go to and I’ve been wanting to find something else to do! Checking this out for sure!
@flockofmoosen3 heck yes!!!! Congratulations, it feels so good to pay off a debt, especially a big one like student loans! Perfect timing to have more $$ for baby!
So seriously, I mentioned before that I got an infection in my leg from where I take my daily PIO shots. Yesterday I had an appointment to check in with my doctor and after consulting a doctor who specializes in infectious crap, they recommended that I get it cut out... so I went in immediately and now I have a one inch deep hole in my butt cheek
I am seriously just blown away at the garbage luck I am having this go around, but the baby looks great so there is definitely a silver lining! I am just moping about the scar to come, and having to deal with the grossness that is wound care.
Crystal321 that totally sucks. but wound care is no joke! stay on top of that. besides you can tell this baby "look what I went through for you!" lol flockofmoosen3 congrats! that is so very awesome
@flockofmoosen3 I don’t know what TCF is. Lol. It was a secret fb group of the women on feb16’s bmb. Yay for getting rid of that student loan debt btw!!! One of the best feelings ever!!
My random for today is at my appointment today (12+3) my uterus is UP TO MY BELLY BUTTON!!! That’s crazy to me! I’m already showing, like clearly showing, and I’m glad it’s not just bloat and chub like I originally thought it was!! Saw baby on the ultrasound and he looked great but wouldn’t cooperate, so I get to see him again in a week!
My son had an evaluation with birth to 3 this morning, I had referred him because of his speech even though his ped wanted to wait until 2.5. He got in, but for speech AND cognitive delay which I was totally not expecting. So frustrating because he's normally such a good listener, but he wanted nothing to do with the evaluation about halfway through.
I posted this on symptoms, but I'm putting it here because I'm an AW-ing loss mom who has been WAITING for this!!!! I'm feeling my baby! I thought I was a few days ago but told myself it was too early, and Player 2 was too tiny to make the regular feeling of pushing/rolling I was feeling for an hour, so it must be something else even though it felt exactly like a baby moving. But last night I was in bed poking my uterus, and every time I did P2 would roll around and push back, or do a little dance. Last time with my daughter it wasn't until after 20 weeks, and just felt like swooping or swimming, this is so different and strong! I woke up The Man to tell him and he reached over all excited, and I had to remind him that last time he couldn't feel anything until over a month after I started to feel her last time. Poor guy, he was so hopeful. I'm so grateful. I know I'll be annoyed at getting kicked in a few weeks, but right now I'm just happy.
@christycalifornia no worries I don't either! They said there's no need for a repeat evaluation because he was already approved for services and the price is the same either way. He actually wouldn't have gotten in on a speech delay alone, so it's bittersweet. He definitely has speech issues but he's smart and listens- he just can't talk! They came right before nap time so his attention was wearing thin, I'm sure that had something to do with it.
ETA thats awesome you felt it so early! I keep thinking I'm feeling something and I'll get excited, and then I'll pass gas, so I'm sure it's not baby yet lol.
@acunamatada hold on to the sweet, let go of the bitter. He'll get there! He sounds like a smart little sweetie, it's good he's getting help so he can get where he needs to be!
I lol-ed at the passing gas. I was sure a few days ago mine was gas; even though I knew there was no gas in the world that felt like that. FX you feel soon!
@acunamatada whenever you post about your DS it feels like you are talking about mine! He knows literally everything we are saying but has a limited vocab at 2 y 2 mo. I know if I were in your situation the cognitive delay diagnosis would sting especially because you know that's not true for your kid, but I'm glad he got approved. I'm unfamiliar with the program, is it state or federal? My ped is also not pushing an eval yet but I want to be proactive and help him communicate better.
@amylu914 I think it's my states version of early intervention. My ped wanted to wait too, she was convinced he would have a "word explosion" by 2.5 which still hasn't happened, (he'll be 2.5 next month) so I referred him myself. At 2yo I think he had like 20 words? He's got more like 50-60 now with some phrases but the words he does say aren't very clear so I'm always translating for him. I hope this helps!
In crazy news...on Christmas eve I got a message from my new half-sister on 23andme. I'm a sperm donor baby and we had the same donor. On top of all that apparently we grew up a few towns over AND now we live a few blocks from each other. My mind is blown.
@acunamatada thanks for the info, I googled and found something similar in my state. I am going to hold on to the info for another month or two to see how he progresses, but it is good to know that as parents we can take action without having to go through the ped. I look forward to hearing about your son's experience!
@nimmle that is INSANE and really really cool, especially if you are open to meeting her. Since you live so close it is crazy to think you could have bumped into each other before without knowing you are related.
@acunamatada@amylu914@lindsayleigh1989 I know it's crazy! We're planning on meeting after the new year when she gets back in town. So curious if there is a resemblance.

@TalesOfASocialIntrovert hahaha my life isn’t nearly THAT exciting lol.

@Crystal321 oh no, that sounds so horrible! And so scary! Feel better, I hope it heals well!
