@zamora_spin I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. I was on the verge of calling the doctor when I got my last AF, too. I'm sorry you're in so much pain. :'( please trust your gut and call someone if it gets too bad. I took combo midol/ ibuprophen and drank RRL tea, and eventually I was able to fall back asleep... but it was easily the worst cramps I can remember. (((hugs)))
@BusinessWife That painted such a vivid picture. Why can't we just get a win? My Fingers are crossed so hard for you this month.
I so wish I was better at comforting words. I just never feel like I have the right things to say. Even though we're all going through the same thing, it's all so uniquely different to the person.
Ps all my love it's = hugs/I'm here, you're not talking to yourself. The bump really needs more responses.
@zamora_spin - I agree with @BusinessWife. It doesn't hurt to call the advice nurse/Dr on call. It's free and will put your mind at ease. Do you have a heating pad? Maybe that would help? I don't want to dismiss your symptoms because that's how I got into my mess. Usually there is a 24 hour person on call. I would definitely give them a shout and see what they say.
@zamora_spin I really like the idea of giving people three chances to support. I also think people just don’t know what to say with a pregnancy or child loss. I know we have definitely experienced that in the past few months. I have even reassured people through a fb status and our family blog that it is ok to not know what to say, but please don’t ignore our losses either. I had a bunch of people reach out after that. They were worried about making me cry which I totally get. But the three chances rule might be a great way for DH and I to get some closure with people in our lives.
@BusinessWife I’m sorry your DH is being such a poop head, but I’m glad you are getting support from the bump ladies. I love the bump.
And thank you everyone for being so welcoming in this thread even though we are not currently TTC at this moment.

@zamora_spin, I too like the 3 chances. And if I am being honest, I know when someone else losing someone, it is hard to give condolences sometimes (made this realization after my first loss) so I always try to be mindful and say something. But, I think it is one thing to not say "I'm sorry" when something happens and completely different to ignore the situation when someone reaches out to you.
AFM, the cramps are worse and tmi I I had brown discharge earlier this morning. I called into the OB office, most likely will be seen this afternoon.
@zamora_spin I agree with everyone else, if your cramps are too painful, you should definitely call. @holly321 Fx it's nothing. Keep us posted on what the OB says.
I just got off the phone with my OBgyn, he said that he is confident that I am having issues because the Depo shot, he said it is a not a BC he likes and has a lot of nasty side effects (oncologist is the one that made me get it) .
AFM, I went to get blood work done to check all my hormone levels and the phlebotomist was telling me she is planning on retiring in a couple of years and moving to Vietnam. At first I didn't believe her, but she was completely serious. Power to her, but it was a really weird conversation.
@galactickates, I didn't ask, but with all my health issues, I am a walking pharmacy.
ETA, my bleeding is heavier, so I think this may be my period. Which makes me really bitter considering I couldn't get a period when trying to get pregnant. Also, my doctor said I have to get blood work this week, then he is releasing me to monthly checks. I forgot to ask about trying sooner, but I am pretty sure he will be on board.
@holly321 ugh, that really stinks. I have been on drop before and it was probably my least favorite BC. Hoping your bleeding subsides soon!

@zamora_spin How are you feeling today? Did your cramps get any better? I loved your explanation about letting friendships go if you aren't getting the support you need. It's so easy to try to stick around even when the relationship ends up hurting more than it lifts you up. It's such great advice to pay attention to your own needs too. @ChloandCoco Is it your birthday this weekend or someone else's birthday dinner? Have fun on your date night tonight! @acciocoffee I'm so sorry for your loss. Take all the time you need to process your emotions. I was benched for a cycle after my recent CP and I thought it was helpful emotionally to take some time off from the stress of TTC. Hopefully it will go by quickly for you and you will feel ready to try again by the time you're off the bench. Random - I love your screen name! @holly321 So glad it's nothing to worry about, but that just sucks that you finally got your period after all this time! @ChloandCoco Was the phlebotomist Vietnamese or just randomly moving to Vietnam? How interesting!
@offtoneverland It's my birthday, but I don't really feel like there's much to celebrate at the moment. As for the phlebotomist, she's a caucasian Canadian. Her top three places to move to were Vietnam, Ecuador, or some other very random place. But she said Vietnam has a great healthcare system, and it's super cheap.
@offtoneverland It’s been a long 24 hours! I woke up at 4 something am to incredible pain. While getting some water I had so much pain I saw spots and there was like a static in my ears for 20 minutes after that. (TMI at one point I realized that I needed to pass a bm and the general fullness down there was making the uterine pain worse, I thought I might pass out or throw up). Anyway, finally managed to get it under control and back to sleep. Still have pain but it’s not as out of control. Admittedly I have been eating very little because I am afraid of that terrible pain. Did talk to the nurse today and she said if it gets to where I can’t do normal activities or if I’m filling more than a pad an hour or just if I need to to call back (finally started bleeding about 28 hours after the cramps started). Tbh I think it’s one of those things where they can’t do anything for me except maybe offer better pain meds.
Much as I wanted to stay home I actually had to drive two hours and teach a seminar today. Finally home and taking some rest.
@BusinessWife thanks for the midol tip, not sure I would have survived without it. Also drank RRL tea, no idea of that helped but worth a try. Sorry you had a similar experience!
@BusinessWife and @zamora_spin Thanks for the birthday wishes! @zamora_spin It’s good the pain is under control. Hopefully the worst has passed and you can have a better sleep tonight.

@ChloandCoco Happy birthday! Totally understand you not feeling like there's too much to celebrate, but I hope you still manage to have a great weekend with your family. @zamora_spin Oh my goodness! You still managed to teach a seminar with all that going on? You are hard core, girl! Hope you were able to curl up with a heating pad last night and relax and I really hope the pain subsides soon.
Sorry I haven’t been replying commenting/ I caught my Fi’s bug just as he started to feel better so I’ve been sleeping a ton but hugs and loves to you all!
@holly321 Today I woke up and hardly had any pain at all, slept with the heating pad all night. Then a couple hours after I woke up the pain came back (still not as intense as Thursday night/Friday morning). Now it is back under control again. I hope it just lets up altogether soon. Thanks for checking on me.
The fertility clinic just called to tell me that my endometrial biopsy came back positive for ureaplasma.
*TW* I asked if it can cause MC and she said yes. Reading online it sounds like it's a common infection, but having it in the placenta and/or endometrium can cause all sorts of problems including lung issues in the baby and pre-term labour. *End TW*
DH and I are both starting on antibiotics today. We have to both take it at the same because otherwise we'd keep reinfecting each other.
I have my next cycle monitoring appt tomorrow and will ask if we should abstain this cycle. They would want me to repeat the biopsy in 2 weeks to make sure the infection cleared. If I'm KU I read online that they can take a cervical swab and prescribe pregnancy friendly drugs. I guess we'll find out tomorrow. I really hope this is the answer to all this trouble and heartache I've been through.
Does anyone here know anything about ureaplasma or have any stories/experiences related to it??

Just wanted to see @holly321 and @zamora_spin how you guys are holding up today. Hopefully better?
@ChloandCoco - wanted to see how you were doing to, I know I how I felt on thanksgiving (not thankful, or happy). I feel like special events can be so hard. I hope you were able to have fun hopefully you get lots of delicious cookies today!
@meatballs37 - I hate to even ask the dreaded "how are you doing?" question so I won't. But instead I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you.
Basically I'm thinking of all of you, even those who I didn't tag and wanted to reach out and see how everyone was doing. It's been pretty quiet and I just wanted to say I'm here, and I care.
@starla, FX the antibiotics do the trick for you! @galactickates, the cramping has stopped and I was wrong about getting my period, just minor spotting here and there, other than that, just dealing with other emotional crap and trying to not let stuff bother me so much. thanks for asking. How are you doing?
@galactickates ❤ Today was okay. The hardest part was getting up the nerve, positivity, holiday spirit etc. to get out the door, but we made it to SILs party in one piece. (After another ridiculous outburst from DH but whatever. Thankfully he blows over quickly,) Turns out the baby, (16 mos), wasn't there, so that made it a bit easier, hate to say. Gave his present to his grandma for him and that was that. Apparently the parents are taking a trip soonish, and then planning to, "start trying again," ...so now here we go. No pressure. I hate to say it but if they do happen to get pregnant AGAIN before we get a sticky peanut... that's going to be really tough. :/ It is always sweet/bittersweet to see DH with his nieces tho... :'( Glad it was mostly pretty low key tho without too much awkwardness. How was your weekend?
@galactickates I’m actually doing really well today. I think if I didn’t have a supportive DH and DD at home to chase after, I’d be doing not so great. My August 16 moms from the bump have been a great support too. That’s why I am back here on TB. I know how great it can be.

@BusinessWife - well hopefully your wait isn't long! I know you have transfer coming up right? My fingers are super crossed for you. I feel like we all will be doing the care bear stare at you. Lol I'm glad your holiday get together was a little easier on your heart not having that reminder in your face. My weekend was actually good. We had an ugly Christmas sweater bunco party which was a lot of fun. I got the prize for most buncos. DH won last bunco prize. Today we watched the seahawks lose which was a bummer and about to have dinner with my neighbors. It was a full packed weekend which was exactly what I needed. I'm tired of being sad. It's exhausting. If that makes sense.
@meatballs37 - I'm glad you have a good support system. My DH has been really amazing too. I feel super lucky. Plus all the bumpies. Having a supportive team mate is everything.
@galactickates Super sweet of you to check in on everyone. I'm glad you were able to lift your spirits some this weekend and have a good time. @BusinessWife Good for you for mustering up the courage to go to the party even without much motivation to be there. So so so hoping you get your sticky peanut with your next transfer so you don't have to worry about your SIL getting there quicker than you do. I always feel like it's a bit odd when people announce that they're going to be trying for a baby (especially before they've even started)...so much pressure! I didn't want to tell my family at all that we were, but I had to because we had a big family trip to the Caribbean planned for the fall and I had be honest with them so we could cancel it (because of zika). I wish I didn't have to tell them though because it's just so much pressure. Self-inflicted pressure, though. They don't ask me about it at all, I just feel it on my end, especially because I made everyone cancel their vacation and it makes me feel bad that after all of that I'm still here! @starla I've never even heard of ureaplasma but so hoping this is finally your answer! FX so hard for you.
@offtoneverland. Ugh. Isn't that just the worst B of it all, how IF makes us put our lives on hold??? Up-end our plans? People really don't get it who haven't lived it. DH still doesn't get it, and he DID live it. He just thinks I'm crazy botb. Gahh!
