Rants/Raves? She kept curling up and facing her back to the tech, but finally after some walking around they got all the pictures of the heart and spine they needed. It was a relief because these are 2 areas that can be affected the most with a diabetic mom. The tech also printed off a picture just for older brother to hold and have with his name on it. It was so sweet and special.

Rants/Raves? I'm so relieved! I'm not feeling much movement yet so it was reassuring to watch our little girl bounce and kick around in there!
Baby's name? None yet. Was waiting to find out the sex. Kinda partial to the name Sabrina but idk what DH thinks so it could be a no-go lol

Rants/Raves? Everything looked good, such a relief! I do have an anterior placenta, I am still feeling some movement but it's pretty subtle. So fun to see little man wave at us and squirm around.
Baby's name? We've got it set but are keeping it a secret until birth. I've got a sister who's an avid bumpie and she may creep this thread.

Rants/Raves? Not feeling much movement either with this anterior placenta so it was wonderful to see everything looking good! We had a student tech so we didn’t have to pay for the disc of extra images. It’s usually 10$. Also, now I can refer to her as baby girl
Baby's name? No first name yet, but we have Sigrid for the middle name. Carrying on the tradition of using a family name.

At 16 week anatomy scan they were 5 and 6 oz respectively. We go back for another scan on December 18th!
Rants? Everyone tells me I’m so small and it makes me nervous they aren’t growing well enough. Raves?! After 4 years of fertility treatments - I can’t believe how lucky we are!!!!

Scan was yesterday and everything seemed to be going perfectly and all organs were in the right spots, but then the doctor came in at the end and said the baby has no nasal bone, which is a strong marker for Down Syndrome. It's the only one he has, but it's a big one apparently. We had some initial shock and disappointment obviously, but now we're just trying to find out more (got further blood testing but decided against amnio) and preparing for our baby's future either way. Hopefully he doesn't have it, but the most comforting statistics I've found are on the happiness level of families/children with Downs, and almost everyone seems to have a more positive outlook on life from the experience, so it's not the worst scenario.
How far along? 20 Weeks

How big is baby? They didn't tell us, but said he's measuring exactly at 20 weeks
Rants/Raves? Worried about his potential diagnosis but so happy he otherwise seems happy and healthy! We got devastating pregnancy-ending news at our last pregnancy's anatomy scan, so we were really hoping this one would just be perfect and reassuring, but we're coming to terms with it and happy it's nothing life threatening.
Baby's name? Undecided/keeping choices to ourselves for now
Include a pic if you want! Pic in spoiler! You can apparently tell there's no nasal bone in the pic by the way the white line down from the forehead just ends before the nose. Hoping it's actually there and they just couldn't see it at this angle though.

Rants/Raves? Just happy to hear everything looked healthy, right on track. Only concern is placentia previa so have to go in in 6 weeks to see if it has moved away from my cervix, which sounds like happens most of the time.

Rants/Raves? Baby is measuring in the 19th percentile so we will have to have another scan in 4 weeks to make sure she is on a good growth rate. I’m petite so the Doc was not too concerned.
Also very surprised that it’s a girl! Excited but surprised, everyone had said boy except for DSD who is so thrilled she was right lol

Rants/Raves? We got horrible pictures that you can't even tell what it is so I won't post one. The tech would pause on a great pic and then not print it. The best we have is the crotch shot. I have to go back because they couldn't get one measurement and if I have a different tech I'm going to see if I could get better pictures.

Rants/Raves? My tech had to leave the room a couple times cuz other techs/nurses kept fking barging in and asking about labs & This and that for OTHER patients. So that really stressed me out.
Baby's name? We were gunna go with Brecken but now we aren't sure and talking about Grayson also. Lol never gunna settle on a name!

How big is baby? They told us the weight and now I can't remember! I think it was 13oz. I know he's overall 80% percentile for growth.
Rants/Raves? It's just such a goddamn relief after all this stress. Rant I guess is I had to come back to work and I have ultrasound jelly all over my pants.
Baby's name? Theodore St. Clair, we think.

Rants/Raves? She hasn't stopped moving since I first felt her at 18 weeks, but I count this as a blessing.
Baby's name? River. Still looking for a middle name!!
Team: green! We didn't want to know and baby was stubborn so it wouldn't have mattered anyways haha
Rants/raves: baby was super uncooperative. Tech couldn't get a good profile shot, had trouble seeing the spine, couldn't see the genitals. Hopefully not a preview of how he/she will be on the outside! Haha!
Also baby's head measures a bit big and limbs a bit small. Not much though. The tech said it's "probably fine" as the godmother of a kid with achondroplasia (dwarfism) I don't like his "Probably fine" so I'll be talking to my GP at my next appointment.
Baby's name: Memphis regardless of sex. Middle names are proving to be hard to decide on. For girl we like Memphis Mae or Memphis jean. For boy maybe Memphis Norman or Memphis Augustus. All are family names

They had to tilt the table to try and get baby out of my pelvis and it didn’t really work. My abdomen is going to be really sore tomorrow because the tech had to push really hard to get some images.

How big is baby? They didn't really say. The report said measuring 20w0d, but they didn't give an actual weight measurement.
Rants/Raves? MH is pretty much still in shock that we'll have three girls, but we're still really excited. It was so nice to see her moving all over in there, and confirming that what I've been feeling the past few weeks is actually kicks and baby moving. Rant-They said they would email my ultrasound pictures to me, but I haven't gotten them yet, so I need to call and see if they'll resend them.
Baby's name? No freakin' idea. We might still go with Natalie, but we're trying to throw other ideas around and see if anything pops out at us.
