@charlestonchew I'm the same way, though I find u have more of them a night now. Most likely because I get up to pee and interrupt the one going on. Sometimes I have a hard time figuring out if what I'm remembering is a dream, memory, movie, or book I've read. My dreams are all very hyper realistic, I was once explaining a dream to mh and he said, that wasn't a dream I was there too. I must say the pregnancy ones are less realistic though, like running from zombies while trying to care for baby.
For me, even before pregnancy I had about 2 dreams a night. I think they say this is normal even if you aren't remembering your dreams due to REM. And I've always had off the wall dreams too! My very first dream I ever remember when I was like 2 or 3 was me sitting on santa's lap and I went to shake his hand and his hand came off lol. I tend to have a lot of anxiety dreams (which I think is me working out issues from the day time) like running from something or I want to do something and I can't. I have flying dreams, zombies, tornadoes...you name it. Because of my vivid dreams, dream lore and science has always fascinated me. I STILL have school anxiety dreams to this day and will be back in my high school and can't remember my classes.
  • @charlestonchew I have school anxiety dreams too, like it's finals and I realize I forgot to go to class for the entire semester. I recently had a realistic one that my high school found me and told me I didn't actually graduate because I was missing a history course and they were going to take away my high school diploma. Which meant they also took away my BS and MEd and I wouldn't be allowed to teach. I had to convince them to let me take a course at the high school I teach at because I figured I'd be an easy A because I knew how the teachers chose worked. When I walked into his class he states in going to be teaching differently this year, and you need to find a partner. I ended up with a student in not a fan of and was really pissed.

  • Went to the OB this morning and he referred me to a neurologist because of the constant dizzyness, headaches, and the fact I have to keep sitting down before I pass out. Kind of freaked out about it all. Anyone have anything similar? He said he doesn’t want to just prescribe something for the headaches until they rule out something serious.
I had the same problem last week and my doc checked my bp and it was very low, so he advice i take ORS for 3 days stretch and that helped alot, so i will also advice u check your BP with ur ob and be sure its not low, again i was placed on iron suppliment.

  • Can we also avoid the p word for women's underwear???  (I know it's weird, and I've mentioned it before, but it seriously makes me almost gag every time I see it.)  The m-word doesn't bother me, though, strangely enough.

  • @sandbar517 my 13 year old niece calls them "underpants".  I love her, and I hope she never stops that.  It's so funny to me everytime I hear it.
  • People tease me relentlessly when they find out, and I can't even explain why it gives me such heebie-jeebies.  I'll accept any of the alternatives-knickers, underpants, unds, bloomers, whatever.  Just please not the p word.   :s

  • @sandbar517 I only every use it when using the phrase "getting your p****** in a twist."  Other than that, I hate it.

Yep, all for avoiding this word, too! These are by far the two worst words in the English language.

  • My bp typically runs low, but I didn’t even think about replacing electrolytes! Duh. So much for nursing school when you’ve got pregnancy brain. I drank a couple bottles of Gatorade and will be making a trip to the store tomorrow to look for the packets. Hopeful that helps because the neurologist is booked until December 21st.. not that they’d be much help anyway. Thank you @Escardoe
  • Panties, panties, panties!! Lol just being otherwise here  :p I can't stand the word M-... but I always thought panties sounded cute.

I have a question- anyone have their nausea come back just as you thought it would go away? I've been feeling better since 10 weeks but yesterday at 13w4d I just felt like shit all day!

  • Heartburn. Heartburn. Heartburn. I had it so bad last night it made me sick and I actually threw up stomach acid. This was after taking Zantac. It was terrible. Hoping that I won't have any issues today, so I can eat, est, eat!

Anyone else feeling good? I feel great today and I'm just having anxiety that somethings wrong. I'm 13 + 2 and have terrible anxiety.

    Happy Thanksgiving all!
  • @mmb4532 in feeling good today 13 +2 as well. I skipped breakfast because bil is a bachelor who is on business trips more often than he is at his house so all I could find this morning to eat was, beer, soda, water, raisins, shake and bake, and the stuff for Thanksgiving dinner. Normally if I don't eat in the morning I'm puking or feeling like I have to buy noon. Today I'm surviving maybe because I know I'm going to be eating yummy food soon!
  • @babydreams88 Yup with you on the nausea going away then coming back! Mine started to fade around 12 weeks-ish, then came back with a vengeance a couple weeks ago. Now it seems to be fading again (16 weeks) so I hope it's for real this time!
  • @mmb4532 & @jhysmath, 13 weeks 2 days here too. I've been feeling much better! I had a terrible headache yesterday but I haven't been drinking enough water, so it's my own fault. Yay for feeling better!

Cramping is very common throughout pregnancy unfortunately. As long as it’s not severe, or accompanied by bleeding, it’s usually fine. Definitely call your OB’s office in the morning if you’re concerned though. If it helps I had cramping a lot up until the end of October with this one, and my previous pregnancy had unexplained bleeding twice and lots of cramping.
