Did we ever decide if we are doing daily ticker change threada or the weekly due date threads? I was about to throw the Wednesday check in up but don't want to mess up our organization.
I think the most votes was for dailies. I was gonna start one if no one else did.
Jumping into the this is us convo...we watched Tuesday's episode last night and I cried so hard. Even my husband said he "almost" cried at the end. Pregnant women should not be allowed to watch that show!!
It's raining and I'm feeling super nauseous. So tempted to skip work today.
Here is my thought we did a candle loss thread dedicated to moms who had a loss and we would do a single tag for them in it. we would post pictures or gifs of candles to honor the loss. I think that is a great idea.
I do suggest if you do comment on a loss post say for Junabug, maybe write out the sn but dont tag simply because notifications to bring them back could be painful right now? thoughts?
Would a thread like that make moms feel like they couldn't post their own threads? I think it's important each mom gets her moment to specifically be recognized in her own thread.
usually it is after their post so that they for sure get their own thread but some boards also due an hour of silence so no posting on the board to honor them as well.
Then the thread sounds good, if a bit repetative. But it would help to not lose those names. I think an hour of silence would be really hard to do, because people come on and can go through several "trending" topics before seeing there's a loss, or may be new. I'd hate for someone to unknowingly post, get reamed for it, then feel like they're unwelcome. That bit seems like it's almost asking to start fights or make people feel like they overstepped.
Anyone else waiting for the August 2018 board to get started? For some reason I'm excited to no longer be the youngest board, like it's proof that things are really moving along. Or maybe I'm just nuts...
I can't think of one instance in which we started anything. And as to their question of "lurking like I do or are just that predictable," The choices are to be board stalking you or it's somehow predictable that we we would against you?? Ummm, okay....self-obsessed much?
BTW Every new board gets the "crazy" label. Until the nest one starts. I was on a legit crazy board last time, and it was great. Honestly TB are such board nazis now, I don't honestly think any real crazy can get off the ground.

Oh man, I lost it during that part. He was such a good, but misunderstood man. And I am a social worker by trade so I am always a sucker for a good "take a chance on him" scene. I haven't watched this week's yet. I'm not sure I am emotionally prepared, as I caught some spoilers and I don't want to see it!

I'm torn on this. I like the daily ticker change because it's more organized (to me anyway) but I'm a Sunday ticker change and weekend ticker change threads are always dead lol.
We could also do a weekly GTKY that includes some baby related type questions?

I'm also pretty sure they're referring to the HDBD shenangians too, which was almost entirely started by lurkers...
@acunamatada OH. You're right! I read that as starting the thread, and you meant starting trouble. yeah, that was literally a bunch of bored board lurkers who, I'm sure, just wait for a new board to pop up so they can tell newly excited moms how dumb they're being, and burst their bubble. Jerk-faces.
