Thanks so much, ladies! Still preliminary - I still can’t believe I even put it in writing (and thanks @crystal321 - I couldn’t bring myself to update my row in the spreadsheet just yet ).
@Bababatty Transfer day buddy! You make an excellent point about the PIO. I am just doing the Endometrin so that did not occur to me. It is still early and unreliable results can definitely screw with your head.

@Crystal321. I plan to do the same thing, only because after so many SWNs I want to get a chance to see a squinter!!! I found ones that are sensitive to 10 mou so hopefully I see a nice progression, too! ;)
@artemis618. Yay!!!!!! So happy for you!!!! What a nice feeling to get to see things moving in the right direction! ❤❤❤
Well I got called in to report for jury duty on Monday so I will definitely be testing no later than Monday morning... With my last pregnancy I had hyperemesis gravidarum and while I would like to serve on a jury I doubt they would give me enough barf breaks...
@adirat Transfer buddy! I'm sorry you got called for jury duty, I really hope you can be excused from it and that condition you had, although it sounded like a one of Harry Potter's spells, seems so serious. Btw, did you say you'll be POAS on Monday? Hmmmm... I'm also thinking to do the same... oh tough choice
@tinjp78 It's a super intense version of morning sickness...basically I vomited up everything I ate. Think 10 barfs per day I ended up losing so much weight (10lbs in three weeks) that I had to take anti nausea meds, which reduced me to vomiting twice per day but at least I stopped losing weight. I know Princess Kate had it and had to be hospitalized for dehydration -- fortunately mine wasn't so bad!
Don't feel pressure from me to test Monday unless you want to! Of course if you do want to we will be waiting with bated breath! You too @bababatty!
Thanks so much @tinjp78! Hope your wait’s going okay.
@adirat - Maybe you’ll get lucky? The trial for the last jury on which I served only lasted a day! Granted, the judge said he’d never seen anything like it - but it happens. Of course being pregnant would be a most excellent reason to request to be excused
I believe @bababatty’s beta is Monday! (And she might POAS the day before?)

@adirat I hope you won't get that condition again this time, it sounded so terrible. 10 barfs a day is ridiculous plus losing that much weight is alarming. Don't worry about me on feeling pressured, I was actually thinking of POAS tomorrow, it's our 5dpt right? I'm still thinking and praying if it's a good idea.
Atm, DH and I are in the hospital to see my Dr and get some more Progesterone vag tabs. They couldn't give me the meds last time we were here.
@artemis618 As much as I wanted to just do nothing and relax, I couldn't coz I've got tons of stuff to do. My grad school finals is on this weekend and the next and I have one last paper to submit. But the biggest challenge to my schedule is the meal prep for my DH. I couldn't move fast in the kitchen because with my non-stop nausea, I might fall while twirling in there. After the day's work I really look forward to my sleep but since after FET, I've been having a hard time to sleep. I kept waking up in the middle of the night, sometimes to pee or like last night, my eyes just opened at 3am and couldn't go back to sleep immediately. Did this happen to you too during this tww?
@tinjp78 Oh no, you have so much going on - it seems being busy would help the wait go by more quickly, but everything’s just miserable when you aren’t able to get enough rest .
I have been getting up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom every night lately - the insomnia was the couple of nights before transfer for me - but I’ve also been cheating taking a mg of melatonin with my nightly magnesium to help me sleep. Also the progesterone makes me sleepy too. How long have you felt nauseous?? I was mostly on “princess status” for the first 5 days post transfer - I’m very lucky that DH usually cooks (lunches to take to work and stuff) for me. You’re superwoman!
I hope you get a chance to take some time to relax (and hopefully celebrate!) after this term is over. Hang in there!

@artemis618 awww, your DH is so sweet! I think I spoiled mine a bit. But last night I asked him to cook some pasta for dinner, he's good at it and I was feeling some kind of pulling in my lady bits and some cramping on my lower abdomen and upper legs. While he was about to start, I asked if I could go sit on the sofa and rest a while. He said yes but after a minute he asked me to find the spatula, which of course was there at its usual place. I went back to the sofa, then a few seconds later he asked me to refill the paper towels. I began to get worried that I'd be assisting him until he finished cooking... luckily it was only those two that he needed. As for my nausea, I think I've had it since the day after my FET.

@tinjp78 I hope all that pulling is a good sign! I had the same thing last night -- some uterine tenderness/feelings and a bit of cramping. Really hoping we are on the same track transfer buddy! And too funny about the husband-cooking story...
@businesswife Your post about getting a squinter and seeing it darken really got to me! I am thinking about testing earlier now... I need to go count how many Wondfos I have left...
@artemis618 Progesterone makes me have to get up and pee in the middle of the night too I would be certain it was a pregnancy symptom if it hadn't started before my FET...
Anyway the only reason I had the willpower not to test this morning (4dpt) is because I woke up and had to pee at like 5 AM.
@tinjp78, @artemis618, @adirat I have also been getting up in the middle of the night to pee every night. I was attributing it to my unfortunate habit of taking my PNVs right before bed, but obviously that’s not the case with the rest of you.
I am enjoying the vivid dreams, though. Last night I dreamed Kate Middleton and I were becoming BFFs. If only that were even remotely true.
Hi you guys! I’m so excited for these bfp’s! It’s so encouraging and exciting. I wanted to give a quick update on my phone (it may or may not post haha) since my appointment was this morning. I’ve been reading but not able to respond. My lining is at 8.6 and multilayered (trilinear). I had vitamin D, thyroid and estrogen checked and should get that back this afternoon. They gave me the trigger in the office and I start PIO tomorrow! I also go to 4 patches and estrodiol twice per day. The nurse said, “Pretty exciting you are going to be pregnant next week.” I couldn’t help but tear up. It’s been such a long journey and Thursday I get my perfect cold little baby back! Thanks for all your support!!

@Bababatty - that is a good point re: the PIO shots. I hate the PIO shots. I've only had the one (so far) and even though we warmed it, etc, all yesterday it ached.
In your dream, were you and Kate bonding over your pregnancies?
@tinjp78 - GL with your finals! I've had trouble sleeping during IF, but I think it's more because of the stress than because of the hormones. At least for me.
@BusinessWife - Are we married to the same man??? - made me laugh!
@adirat - Oh man, I am on eggshells waiting for you to take an HPT. You must be itching!
AFM: I am anxiously awaiting Monday. I'm a ball of nerves.
My RE himself - not the nurse or patient coordinator - called me last night at 6pm and left a message asking me to call him back. He said he has "one thing to discuss". The last time he called me it was to deliver the ol': "your fresh transfer has been cancelled" news. So I am (obviously) beside myself.
I've called back like 3 times but apparently he's in procedures all morning. I'm really hoping my transfer isn't going to be cancelled. DH was like: "Honey, don't panic." But it's hard not to. Ugh.
@funkykey oh my gosh! What did he want? That's awful that they are leaving you in suspense.

Add me to the insomnia train. Maybe we should all get together and chat at 4am . I'm up worrying about weird stuff like "am I eating enough fruit?" When the eff is this exhaustion supposed to hit??
@Irisheyes81 omg you're sooooo close!!! Sounds like a nice fluffy lining. GL with PIO tomorrow.
@tinjp78 you're a saint for cooking while being nauseated and tired! GL with your exams! It must be a good distraction in the TWW
@funkykey that is nerve wrecking. Update us when you hear. FX he's calling with good news or he was simply helping out with calls. You're up on Monday right??
@businesswife your comment made me literally laugh out loud.
@Irisheyes81 exciting stuff! Best of luck on the upcoming transfer!
@funkykey Did they cancel your freah for a medical reason?? You may have said before and I missed it, but surely they aren't cancelling again. If they do, I would throw a fit
@tinjp78 I’m glad your DH was (mostly) able to prepare a meal for you . I must have jinxed myself because after I got up to pee early this morning (2AM) I couldn’t go back to sleep either. Ugh.
@funkykey Fx it’s no big deal - did you already advise them regarding what you want to transfer?
@coco305 My betas are tomorrow and Monday, @Bababatty’s is Monday, and I think @safire3’s is on Tuesday and @adirat on Wednesday per our handy dandy spreadsheet. Along with a few transfers scheduled, it should be a big week!

@Irisheyes81 AHHHH! That’s so exciting! I love that you’re nurse said “you’ll be pregnant next week” because it’s true and it’s a really nice way to look at it. Go get that embie!
@funkykey Whhhhyyyyy??? I am so anxious for you. DEFINITELY update us when he calls back!
@Crystal321 - yeah, I was supposed to do a fresh transfer but they called 2 days before my ER and said they wanted a closer look at an abnormality they'd seen on my U/S earlier that day, which turned out to be a polyp. I had to wait 3 months for the surgery to remove it. (Thanks, insurance.) I was a wreck last night.
My SIL just called my DH with the news that she's pregnant. Ugh.
I mean, I'm happy for them; I just wish I weren't getting the news while in suspense.
@funkykey Ahhhh I am stressed on your behalf. I hope you get the call back VERY soon. Hopefully they just want to ask which embryo you want or something Sorry for the news...that really is inopportune timing.
@rainbows2018 I think you had your 1st U/S today? How did it go?
@Crystal321 and @artemis618. So so exciting about your HPT results! I've never done the POAS for my prior transfers - I'm torn and DH is totally against it. Maybe I'll succumb this time though we'll see. My beta wouldnt be until 12/1 so I may not be able to wait that long after hearing from you all!
and all of you with betas coming up - @tinjp78 @safire3 and @adirat good luck!!! I'm feeling positive about this board.
@funkykey- awww that is so frustrating!! They better call soon! so many prayers for it to be nothing that causes a delay!
So happy to see all the BFPs and I will definitely be stalking for the beta results! This month is on a roll! Cheering you all on from the bench

Thanks guys... Still no news. Just... suspense and self-loathing. Like: "I should have known there would be another delay. I can't believe I got my hopes up." and then: "Maybe I'm panicking. I hate that I'm panicking. Why can't I just chill out?"
I keep thinking about all of the reasons he might call me. Pretty sure it's not because the pharmacy didn't include a sharps container with my progesterone injections, you know? My clinic is massive - I've maybe talked to my RE 3 times during this whole process: once when he said: "you have unexplained infertility", once when he said: "we recommend moving to IVF after these IUI results", and once when he said: "your fresh transfer is cancelled". So, you know, really only the most painful parts of this journey...
Even thinking about that makes me feel like: "Stop panicking. Maybe it's nothing. Past performance is not an indicator of future outcomes. Maybe he's just calling to say 'good luck'."
I swear, in the rest of my life, I try so so hard to not be a high drama person. I try to avoid high drama people. But it really feels like with this there has been so much suspense! Like: "Surprise! No transfer!" or "You have one embryo." "Wait, actually 4 embryos." And every time, it happens at the same time as some "we're pregnant!" announcement.
@artemis618 - Fx it’s no big deal - did you already advise them regarding what you want to transfer? Yes! I've talked to them about it like 3x! Not a good day. I just want to go home and cry.
@funkykey omg I can't believe they are making you wait like this!!!
@irisheyes81 yay!!! Next week it is! WOW!!!
My nurse called and said Estrogen was good at 303, P at 0.3, lining nice at 9.3! So we are cleared to add PIO Sunday morning, and also cut Estrogen back to 2x per day. It's getting real...
I’m sorry @funkykey, I was just trying to think of things about which I’d actually talked to my RE directly during the transfer process - and that was really it. I only saw him personally the day I started Estrace and then three and a half weeks later for transfer.
I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Everything about this process is so emotionally loaded as it is. They deal with women on hormones on a regular basis - they should realize how not cool making you wait is

Ah! He was just calling to talk about which embryo! @artemis618 - you were right!!! (And @adirat too).
I was like: "I talked to one of the nurses about this yesterday." I guess they didn't pass it on/write it in my file? Which, is its own issue. He was like: "Oh, that's odd. Hm." And I did give him a bit of a rough time for not mentioning it on the voicemail... would it have killed him to be like: "just confirming which embryo" instead of: "I have an issue to discuss with you."?
Anyway, I'm still in it for Monday. FET, here we come!
I'm honestly so excited for everyone's BFPs and the next week's betas! It's a big deal, making it to an FET!
@funkykey What a relief! Thank goodness! I'm so thrilled you are moving forward! But geez he could've said "Just checking on something small, no big deal" in the message!!
@funkykey phew... what a relief! Yay! You are good to go... it's getting so near!
@BusinessWife Oh you have great numbers over there. Yeah, it's getting so close. Fx on the PIO. I'm cheering on you
@artemis618 sorry your sleep was disturbed last night. In my case, I got a little progress. I woke up at 4am instead of a dreadful 2am.
Question: Do any of you still check your BBT regularly? I still do, I'm just worried that the results would just cause me to have emotions like when taking HPT's.
@tinjp78 I haven't temped at all for my FET cycle. My understanding is that the progesterone medication would elevate your temp artificially.
For what it's worth... I was temping the cycle of my natural BFP in February. In fact the reason I took a HPT was because my temp was staying up (I had pretty much given up hope at that point). I stopped temping the day after my beta with the RE, because a friend on here told me that there could be normal temp fluctuations during a pregnancy that could make you worry. I know some people prefer to keep temping for peace of mind, but for me, it would have caused me more stress so I stopped. I think whatever makes you less stressed is right for you.
@funkykey. Woo hoo! I’m so glad to hear all’s well. That delivery certainly left a lot to be desired though. My clinic can be a little questionable with the internal info sharing too sometimes.
@tinjp78 I haven’t temped in months. I started wondering b/c the last time I was *TW* pregnant I remembered running hot (but some time later along) and don’t feel that at all at the moment (in fact, maybe the opposite). And then I told myself that since the progesterone via suppository doesn’t get into the blood stream as much as when your body’s making it on its own, maybe that’s why? But really I have no idea and am mostly trusting that the docs have done this before. So my short answer is “no, I don’t temp”

Atm, DH and I are in the hospital to see my Dr and get some more Progesterone vag tabs. They couldn't give me the meds last time we were here.

Are we married to the same man???
@businesswife Your post about getting a squinter and seeing it darken really got to me! I am thinking about testing earlier now... I need to go count how many Wondfos I have left...
@artemis618 Progesterone makes me have to get up and pee in the middle of the night too
Anyway the only reason I had the willpower not to test this morning (4dpt) is because I woke up and had to pee at like 5 AM.
I am enjoying the vivid dreams, though. Last night I dreamed Kate Middleton and I were becoming BFFs. If only that were even remotely true.
Also @tinjp78 @BusinessWife that sounds like my DH, too, haha!
@Irisheyes81 - gah!!! So exciting!!!!
@funkykey oh my gosh! What did he want? That's awful that they are leaving you in suspense.
2017 - egg retrieval #1 - 3 eggs, 0 embryos appropriate for transfer; ER #2 2 eggs, 0 embryos on day 3; ER #3 1 egg 0 embryos
moved to donor egg in summer 2017; 35 eggs retrieved; 19 fertilized; 9 total embryos
Fresh transfer Dec 2017= BFP! baby boy born 8/22/18
May 2019 - surprise natural pregnancy ended in MC
Nov 2019 FET; MC at 9 weeks
May 2020 FET; BFN
July 2020 FET; CP treated with methotrexate
Oct 2020 BFP!
Take a look at my blog
Who's up for a beta this week??
@funkykey Did they cancel your freah for a medical reason?? You may have said before and I missed it, but surely they aren't cancelling again. If they do, I would throw a fit
@Irisheyes81 Yay for starting progesterone tomorrow! You and @businesswife are getting so close!

@funkykey Whhhhyyyyy??? I am so anxious for you. DEFINITELY update us when he calls back!
My SIL just called my DH with the news that she's pregnant. Ugh.
I mean, I'm happy for them; I just wish I weren't getting the news while in suspense.
@funkykey Ahhhh I am stressed on your behalf. I hope you get the call back VERY soon. Hopefully they just want to ask which embryo you want or something
@artemis618 GL with tomorrow's beta!
AFM...just trucking along and symptom spotting like a mofo over here.
@Crystal321 and @artemis618. So so exciting about your HPT results! I've never done the POAS for my prior transfers - I'm torn and DH is totally against it. Maybe I'll succumb this time though we'll see. My beta wouldnt be until 12/1 so I may not be able to wait that long after hearing from you all!
and all of you with betas coming up - @tinjp78
@safire3 and @adirat good luck!!! I'm feeling positive about this board.

Back for # 2!
I’m really sorry you’re going through this. Everything about this process is so emotionally loaded as it is. They deal with women on hormones on a regular basis - they should realize how not cool making you wait is

So happy you are moving forward!
