I had ultrasound and blood work this morning. Lining is 8.6 but estrogen is low so transfer got bumped by at least a day. I have to add vaginal estrace in addition to the 3x day estrace I'm taking orally. I go back in on Tuesday. Transfer was supposed to be Monday the 20th but it all depends on the right hormonal level. My RE's lab does close for the holidays so I hope I don't get canceled for taking too long.

Wow! So many updates. Exciting to hear about everyone’s transfers, symptoms and positive pregnancy tests!! BTW, add me to the vivid dream club. Couple of nights ago I dreamt that I was making out with one of the actors from Gossip Girl. Like eyo I’m too old for that!!
@funkykey that was a nail biter - I was trying to read through everyone’s updates as fast as I could to get to figure out if everything was on track for you. These REs should take a class on the mental status of women going thru IVF. Ugh.
AFM: I had my US today. Needless to say I was super nervous but we saw the Gestational sack and yolk sack. Per RE that’s all we would expect to see at this point. I go back on Nov 20th for a second scan and hope to see a HB.
AFM Looks like I’m dealing with some insomnia too. I’m up at 2:30am right now. Need to go to sleep because tomorrow is a busy day - DH’s birthday party. Still not sure if I will cave and test after the party or just wait for beta on Tuesday at this point. At least I don’t work on a Tuesday so don’t have to worry about dealing with a negative at work.
@funkykey OMG I am so happy for you that it was absolutely nothing! What a relief. Now you can enjoy your weekend and get increasingly excited for Monday. I’m glad you told your RE “off” slightly. How hard would it have been to say, “Nothing major, just want to confirm something for Monday.”? You should have said, “Listen, it’s not even just for me. You had like 10 other women extremely stressed out for me all day.” Hahaha. :-D
@artemis618 GL with your beta today, transfer buddy!
@BusinessWife Wow, your numbers keep getting better and better! Just a few more days….
@tinjp78 Personally, I haven’t temped since our third IUI, which was a little over a year ago, mostly since it was stressing me out because it always seemed my temp increase didn’t line up with the IUI itself. Then I never started again because we were always waiting for something and not really trying on our own. But I agree with @adirat, if it keeps you less stressed, then definitely keep doing it.
@sunnyrain2 Ahhh I know the frustration of having one of your levels be too low. FX that your additional estrace brings it back up and you can move right ahead!
*TW*
Well, I got tired of trying to guess if all this light cramping—which has admittedly been going on for pretty much the entire TWW—was period or pregnancy related or whatever. So, I caved and took a HPT (my last FRER) this morning. I got a faint second line, which did darken slightly so it’s clearly there and pink. I’m so used to stark white tests that I think I’m still in shock! Luckily, I have a small stockpile of Wondfos to tide me over until Monday. I'll take my estrace, prometrium, and PIO with a renewed vigor!
@Bababatty omg!!!!!! So happy for you! @artemis618 FX for your beta today!! @sunnyrain2 you still have a week! And the extra meds will bump it up for sure. @rainbows2018 how exciting!!
what are everyone's weekend plans?? I feel like cleaning the house from top to bottom.
also, question, are you guys still exercising? I was told to take it easy and I'm kind of going crazy. Not that I'm all that into intense workouts, but I would love to jump on a treadmill and go for a brisk walk, not just walk the dog around the neighborhood.
@Bababatty. Yasssss!!!!! This is happening!!! <img alt="" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/4a/nz4zgqgrpwn9.gif"> That's what I'm talking about! So happy to see that second line!!!! Don't stop believing!! Also don't let perfect progression worry you, especially with wondfo - PLEASE! There are so many different batches and variables. If you do keep testing, try to remember, a line is a line!!! Aaahhh!!! So happy for you!!! ❤❤❤ <img alt="" src="https://us.v-cdn.net/5020794/uploads/editor/pi/yqrfjojsyejr.gif">
@Bababatty That’s awesome!!!!!! Congrats! I feel like words don’t to a justice! Amazing
@funkykey I just read all the updates and I have to admit, I scrolled to the end to see what in the world was going on! That’s insane. What a relief. I bet the SIL and BIL thing was a little sting. I feel like I’ll always get a little annoyed by people who get pregnant so easily.
You guys are tempting me now! I’m really praying that this is the board where everyone gets their bfp and take home baby!
@coco305 I think a brisk walk would be fine. As long as it’s not more activity than you are used to.
@Irisheyes81 props to hubby for a good job with the PIO! Mine did all my shots and I told him he deserves a nursing degree now lol. He felt so proud of himself. I’ve been wondering if I should switch over to PIO myself because crinone is so gross. Good to hear it didn’t hurt much and hope it stays that way.
Oh @Irisheyes81 I'm sorry, I totally get why people take a break from the boards and stuff while they are cycling, bc it's like impossible not to compare with others when everyones throwing numbers around. :/ but congrats on starting PIO! I am really nervous about letting DH anywhere near me with a needle... :# I am really hoping beyond hope I can just do them myself
@ businesswife I actually freaked out when mine was at 6 and yours was over 8 the other day and wrote the nurse. She was like, wait, so there is another patient at another clinic in another state that has thicker lining than you and now you’re worried when we told you it was fine? Haha. I’m sure they put a sticker on my chart that says crazy. My husband stabbed himself with a needle during IVF class so I had my doubts too. I know it’s possible to do it yourself and I’m sure you can!
@safire3 I bet you could switch to PIO if you wanted to. I can’t imagine why not. I’m so excited for you to maybe test

@coco305 I asked my doctor this before, his answer was bedrest for 3 days after transfer, then nothing more intense than walking until he gives the all clear. I am normal also in aspects of weight, health, etc. He tends to be conservative on this stuff, but why risk it? Especially when you got a positive
ETA
@funkykey I am glad it was nothing bad good luck Monday!
@BusinessWife it's easier than you would think. Sit on a couch or loveseat, twist, and relax your muscles. Also they make a lidocaine patch my doctors office let me try. It made it super easy, but my insurance doesn't cover them so I just tough it out
@Bababatty WOOOOOOOO HOOOOOO! Yay transfer day buddy! Congrats . I probably should have waited as I hate squinting at faint lines. I’ve actually found the wondfos the least assuring and whatever dollar store ones I got the most (at least easiest to see). This morning I took a digital in addition to the wondfo. Incidentally, I saw what I hope was just late implantation bleeding Thursday night and early yesterday morning (with my natural BFP I also had it 12-13DPO). My blood’s been drawn and now I wait... Hopefully you can breathe a little easier now (though I know it’s easier said than done
@coco305 I’ve been taking it easy - I haven’t even walked the dog around the neighborhood because she’s 67 lbs and if she pulls hard and suddenly for a squirrel that’s potentially “high impact” (activities which I was advised to avoid until pregnancy test). I actually tried to return to the gym for yoga (Equinox gym yoga is reasonably legit ) for the first time since before transfer yesterday morning only to find that the class had been cancelled for Vetrerans Day observance. I plan to go back to ballet class next weekend, but maybe will skip turns during which I could fall (I’m a pretty clumsy ballerina!) and grand and maybe petit allegro (impact).

Aww, @irisheyes81 that's funny tho, I'm sure if they have your filed under C for crazy, then mine do for me too lol. When I told my doctor I was still temping during stimms, she was like, why am i not surprised! Lol. But the truth is everybody's different and there's a whole range of normal, so theres no need to worry as long as were falling in range. ;)
Thanks for all the support guys. Sometimes it really feels like I actually am losing my mind. Although my H likes to remind me that "it was lost way before IF". LOL! I was kind of a stress case to begin with, and IF has not helped matters at all!
@Irisheyes81 - I think I have a crazy sticker too. LOL. I think your lining is fine though!!! So excited for your FET!
@coco305 - I don't plan on doing no exercise. I mean, I'm going to take it easy, but "easy" will involve a few brisk walks and maybe some gentle yoga.
@artemis618 - you go to Equinox?! I'm so intimidated! I mean, I'm fit but... I saw this campaign and I was like: "I don't know if those are my people." (That said, I am currently trying to convince DH to join what he thinks is an "extremely overpriced" gym - just a local one. Except it's overpriced without the Equinox results/marketing... Maybe joke is on me?)
Thanks @BusinessWife and @funkykey! (Edit: and @rainbows2018 It’s the first time I’ve had a beta and actually had a chance at being pregnant (I’ve only previously seen results in my records to confirm that I WASN’T) so betabase has been my only frame of reference.
@funkykey LOL I saw that campaign and was like WTF? I am definitely not those people - I am a hick from Central CA who happens to be Asian. Although (maybe creepily) DH could maybe pull it off if he grew his hair out, put some weight (muscle) on, and could keep a straight face :P I remember when one of my girlfriends joined Equinox maybe 10 years ago I thought she was crazy to pay that much (but she actually likes working out and does the whole fitness/bikini competition thing - which is kind of awesome ‘cause she’s a month older than I am and a mom). I’m really not a gym person at all - I don’t like exercising (dancing is an exception) and the only other time I’d previously belonged to a gym was for two months when I needed air conditioning for tri training (which was only happening because the coworker who asked me to do it with her caught me on a day on which I was feeling guilty from eating too many Girl Scout cookies) because it was too hot outside (over a decade ago). But I started commuting for work a few years ago and needed to avoid traffic in the morning - and since I don’t like exercise I don’t really know what to do with myself at a gym, the classes at Equnox are mostly what sold me. I mostly do spin and yoga - even their proprietary classes are too pure a form of exercise for me (not distracting enough) and cause me pain. It is very comfortable - with the Kiehl’s products and eucalyptus towels and not having to bring yoga mats or towels. I initially got sucked in because I get a very slight discount through work and had been good about going every weekday until the exercise restrictions from four IVF cycles this year. In retrospect, I guess it’s a little odd that I felt compelled to defend Equinox yoga classes - people are a little fussy about their yoga in LA (I lived a block away from the original YogaWorks location for 14 years).
How excited are you for Monday?? Almost here!

So DH has a buddy, not sure I've mentioned him here, but he was staying with us a while back.
Last night, I was a little bummed when DH said he had to work this weekend instead of help me paint the dining room for the holidays, but not surprised. Okay, so I got my much-needed mani-pedi instead and whatever else. Then he says, oh btw, so-and-so is coming by so they can work on his truck, AND STAY THE NIGHT! Cue me clearing all my stuff out of the guest room and generally de-babying the whole space (the two other bedrooms share a door and I have basically taken them both over with all my stuff lol), and setting up a little sewing table in our bedroom so we can discreetly start PIO in the morning. With him here! <<<grrr>>>
But I will say I'm glad to have the guest room nice and ready for company. Next big step is rearranging all my clothes and things in the spare room so it doesn't look like a tornado hit it, getting all the summer things back into the attic etc. But first, I'll be clearing out the dining room, so hopefully with him staying over, we actually have someone to help us PAINT in the morning. I will be so happy and it will totally be worth the inconvenience if this room get painted, but still! Gah! WTH DH???!?!
First PIO is done! DH did a great job too, I barely felt a thing. ;) now enjoying pineapple and pomegranate with RRL tea before heading out to grandpa's for brunch.
DHs friend actually had to leave early this morning for work, so so much for getting help painting today...(!) at least this visit to grampa is early enough, we may be able to start cutting in tonight. I hope! :#
What's going on this weekend? How are our pupo ladies doing??? ❤❤❤ *AC

Kiehl's products, eucalyptus towels, and avoiding a commute?! Say no more!
All of the IF treatments have put a damper on my exercise routine. There was this hot yoga studio I loved going to, and then during one of my early clomid cycles, I was actually dizzy during the class (unusual for me) and had too much tenderness in the abdominal area for any of the floor series to be comfortable. So I started going less. And now I'm not in the habit, and I'm afraid to go if/when I do get pregnant because I read an article about not doing hot yoga while pregnant. But I really miss it. I keep meaning to find something else I like... thus my overpriced gym initiative.
I'm so excited for Monday! It is all I am thinking about!
@BusinessWife glad the PIO went well! I hope you get your painting done today.
@artemis618 that is an awesome first beta! FX for tomorrow!
@funkykey GL tomorrow! We have another busy week up ahead and I’m so excited for all the transfers and betas!
Party went well but my husband’s sibling are still at my house. I am itching to test but want everyone gone first. I had a dream last night that I was complaining about not having any pregnancy signs and I looked down and (this is TMI/weird and crazy) there was hair around my nipples and I was telling DH that wasn’t there yesterday so I must be totally KU! Lol. That’s probably one of 3 dreams I had about pregnancy or testing so I think my anxiety is getting too high now.
AFM, my beta is on friday, a full 14 days after transfer. I haven't really had any changes other than the worst gas there ever was, lol. Let's just say it's a good thing I work at home now!
@BusinessWife my husband sprung some guests on me for the first PIO and I was mad too! I was so tired and hungry yesterday so entertaining was miserable. How is PIO going for you? I hope you got your painting done!!! @crystal321 your gas comment made me laugh. @safire3 the dream is a good sign! @funkykey I can’t believe it’s tomorrow after all this time. Good luck!! @artemis618 awesome beta! Good luck tomorrow!
Afm Progesterone is just making me tired and hungry. I also had the craziest x rated dream. Not sure if it’s coincidence but I woke up like, huh, that was kinda fun. I’ve had zero sex drive since being on lupron. TMI.

That is hilarious about your dream @Irisheyes81 I told DH about yours @safire3 and I hope it's okay that we had a good laugh in the car. If only it were so easy to tell we were KU!! Lol. But it made him feel a lot better to hear that too, bc he had a pregnancy/baby dream last night! Is that a thing? The spouse having weird progesterone dreams??? But it wasnt so weird, he just dreamt he was snuggling our little baby girl, and what a nice feeling that was. It's so sweet, bc he felt so embarrassed almost to tell me, bc it was just a weird flash or a feeling, but I totally get it. We both want all the babies, although I think we both like the idea of our girls having an older brother to defend them first! Lol Who knows, time will tell, but it's a nice thought to think that it could work and we could be here enjoying regular everyday life + nb snuggles... dare to dream. That was the biggest thing he remembers about the dream, was So. Much. LOVE!!! ❤❤❤
The first shot was not bad, but zero painting has happened, as we are both pretty wiped after a visit to grandpa's. We had a bit of a nap. Coffee is on, so we'll see if we can get started at least before bed... :/ Second estrace down, one more PIO shot to go, and we can call it a night! *typo + wording
@funkykey It's Monday here already, I'm thinking about you! Lots and lots of baby dust your way!
AFM, this seems to be one of my busiest week. I'm finishing up one grad school paper and I have one last exam coming up this Sat. Good thing my work isn't that demanding this week. I'm just a bit worried on how to squeeze in my meal prep time in all of that. But I'm sure all of these shall pass.
Yesterday, my church founder and his wife came to visit us from Mexico. The message he shared was beautiful and I received a prayer from both of them. I felt so blessed.
@funkykey Tomorrow's the big day just wanted to wish you all the luck in the world and sending you super sticky vibes!!!
good luck on everyone's upcoming betas!!

Re: November FET
I had ultrasound and blood work this morning. Lining is 8.6 but estrogen is low so transfer got bumped by at least a day. I have to add vaginal estrace in addition to the 3x day estrace I'm taking orally. I go back in on Tuesday. Transfer was supposed to be Monday the 20th but it all depends on the right hormonal level. My RE's lab does close for the holidays so I hope I don't get canceled for taking too long.

@rainbows2018. So exciting!!! GL on the 20th - I will be going in just for a progesterone check that day, too! ;)
@funkykey I better not meet your doc in a dark alley!!! He had us all in agonies all day!! Lol
@sunnyrain2 sorry for the delay but I’m hoping the extra estrace does the trick and it’s just a one day delay.
@BusinessWife yay everything looks awesome and you are right on track! GL with the PIO this weekend.
@artemis618 good luck tomorrow!
@artemis618 FX for your beta today!!
@sunnyrain2 you still have a week! And the extra meds will bump it up for sure.
@rainbows2018 how exciting!!
what are everyone's weekend plans?? I feel like cleaning the house from top to bottom.
also, question, are you guys still exercising? I was told to take it easy and I'm kind of going crazy. Not that I'm all that into intense workouts, but I would love to jump on a treadmill and go for a brisk walk, not just walk the dog around the neighborhood.

That's what I'm talking about! So happy to see that second line!!!! Don't stop believing!! Also don't let perfect progression worry you, especially with wondfo - PLEASE! There are so many different batches and variables. If you do keep testing, try to remember, a line is a line!!! Aaahhh!!! So happy for you!!! ❤❤❤

@funkykey I just read all the updates and I have to admit, I scrolled to the end to see what in the world was going on! That’s insane. What a relief. I bet the SIL and BIL thing was a little sting. I feel like I’ll always get a little annoyed by people who get pregnant so easily.
@coco305 just walks for me. I think that’s okay
@artemis618 good luck today! Fx
@tinjp78 no temps for me. The story about your husband cooking made me laugh out loud.
@sunnyrain2 I wouldn’t worry. Those numbers jump by the hundreds on meds. So exciting!
@safire3 have fun at the party! I of course want you to test today but Tuesday beta is super close too. Fingers crossed.
@rainbow2018 that’s so exciting!!!
@businesswife we are so close! I have so much lining envy
AFM first PIO down! I didn’t even feel it so that has to be too good to be true. My husband thinks he’s a doctor now.
ETA
@funkykey I am glad it was nothing bad
@BusinessWife it's easier than you would think. Sit on a couch or loveseat, twist, and relax your muscles. Also they make a lidocaine patch my doctors office let me try. It made it super easy, but my insurance doesn't cover them so I just tough it out
@coco305 I’ve been taking it easy - I haven’t even walked the dog around the neighborhood because she’s 67 lbs and if she pulls hard and suddenly for a squirrel that’s potentially “high impact” (activities which I was advised to avoid until pregnancy test). I actually tried to return to the gym for yoga (Equinox gym yoga is reasonably legit

Aww, @irisheyes81 that's funny tho, I'm sure if they have your filed under C for crazy, then mine do for me too lol. When I told my doctor I was still temping during stimms, she was like, why am i not surprised! Lol. But the truth is everybody's different and there's a whole range of normal, so theres no need to worry as long as were falling in range. ;)
@artemis618 - Great beta result! Yey!!!!
@artemis618 congratulations on a fantastic beta!! So nice that your RE called you personally to share the good news!!

*typos/clarity
DHs friend actually had to leave early this morning for work, so so much for getting help painting today...(!) at least this visit to grampa is early enough, we may be able to start cutting in tonight. I hope! :#
What's going on this weekend? How are our pupo ladies doing??? ❤❤❤
*AC
TMI.
@Irisheyes81 I'm with you on the progesterone making you tired and hungry. I never seem to feel full even just after having a meal.
@Crystal321 oh I hate gas
@safire3 Interesting dream. I also had dreams about my lil one, the last I think, I called him Glory.
@artemis618 wow! Nice beta...GL tomorrow
I felt so blessed.
good luck on everyone's upcoming betas!!
