  • @sunnyrain2. Sorry about the delay.  Hopefully the suppositories do the trick!  Are you currently taking 2mg or 4mg 3x orally?

@rainbows2018. So exciting!!!  GL on the 20th - I will be going in just for a progesterone check that day, too! ;)
  • Oh @Irisheyes81  I'm sorry, I totally get why people take a break from the boards and stuff while they are cycling, bc it's like impossible not to compare with others when everyones throwing numbers around.  :/  but congrats on starting PIO!  I am really nervous about letting DH anywhere near me with a needle...  :#  I am really hoping beyond hope I can just do them myself

    @Bababatty congrats!!

@coco305 I asked my doctor this before, his answer was bedrest for 3 days after transfer, then nothing more intense than walking until he gives the all clear. I am normal also in aspects of weight, health, etc. He tends to be conservative on this stuff, but why risk it? Especially when you got a positive

    ETA

@funkykey I am glad it was nothing bad :) good luck Monday!

@BusinessWife it's easier than you would think. Sit on a couch or loveseat, twist, and relax your muscles. Also they make a lidocaine patch my doctors office let me try. It made it super easy, but my insurance doesn't cover them so I just tough it out
  • Yay @Bababatty!! That’s a great sign!

@artemis618 congratulations on a fantastic beta!! So nice that your RE called you personally to share the good news!!

So DH has a buddy, not sure I've mentioned him here, but he was staying with us a while back.

Last night, I was a little bummed when DH said he had to work this weekend instead of help me paint the dining room for the holidays, but not surprised.  Okay, so I got my much-needed mani-pedi instead and whatever else.  Then he says, oh btw, so-and-so is coming by so they can work on his truck, AND STAY THE NIGHT!  Cue me clearing all my stuff out of the guest room and generally de-babying the whole space (the two other bedrooms share a door and I have basically taken them both over with all my stuff lol), and setting up a little sewing table in our bedroom so we can discreetly start PIO in the morning.  With him here!  <<<grrr>>>

But I will say I'm glad to have the guest room nice and ready for company.  Next big step is rearranging all my clothes and things in the spare room so it doesn't look like a tornado hit it, getting all the summer things back into the attic etc.  But first, I'll be clearing out the dining room, so hopefully with him staying over, we actually have someone to help us PAINT in the morning.  I will be so happy and it will totally be worth the inconvenience if this room get painted, but still!  Gah!  WTH DH???!?!

But I started commuting for work a few years ago and needed to avoid traffic in the morning - and since I don’t like exercise I don’t really know what to do with myself at a gym, the classes at Equnox are mostly what sold me.  I mostly do spin and yoga - even their proprietary classes are too pure a form of exercise for me (not distracting enough) and cause me pain.  It is very comfortable - with the Kiehl’s products and eucalyptus towels and not having to bring yoga mats or towels.  I initially got sucked in because I get a very slight discount through work and had been good about going every weekday until the exercise restrictions from four IVF cycles this year.  In retrospect, I guess it’s a little odd that I felt compelled to defend Equinox yoga classes - people are a little fussy about their yoga in LA (I lived a block away from the original YogaWorks location for 14 years).

How excited are you for Monday??  Almost here!

Kiehl's products, eucalyptus towels, and avoiding a commute?! Say no more!

All of the IF treatments have put a damper on my exercise routine. There was this hot yoga studio I loved going to, and then during one of my early clomid cycles, I was actually dizzy during the class (unusual for me) and had too much tenderness in the abdominal area for any of the floor series to be comfortable. So I started going less. And now I'm not in the habit, and I'm afraid to go if/when I do get pregnant because I read an article about not doing hot yoga while pregnant. But I really miss it. I keep meaning to find something else I like... thus my overpriced gym initiative.

I'm so excited for Monday! It is all I am thinking about!
  • @BusinessWife yeah the shots aren't THAT bad.

AFM, my beta is on friday, a full 14 days after transfer. I haven't really had any changes other than the worst gas there ever was, lol. Let's just say it's a good thing I work at home now!
  • @funkykey Good luck!!! Snuggle in little embie!!!
  • @funkykey You’re up!  Happy transfer day and enjoy being PUPO!

@Bababatty Transfer day buddy!  Ready for that beta to confirm what we already know ;)
