@businesswife@dragonette505 At acupuncture this morning, I asked my acupuncturist about this. She said that in traditional Chinese medicine it is used for early-term RPL but is not indicated for women who have never had a loss. I don't really know what that means or why but I thought I'd share!

Cool... see! Its good to know they use it and she knew immediately how it should be used. But maybe its strong (since they don't recommend to all ladies) I'm currently not doing any herbs (since I have so many food sensitivities and I just don't wanna throw in a monkey wrench)
@coco305- congrats girl!! So glad to see the first BFPs of the group coming in!

Woooohoooo Congrats @coco305!! The first transfer for our group and first BFP. I think that’s a good sign!
AFM I finally found out today we have 2 blasts frozen! Would have loved to have more of course but very grateful for 2 more tries if this one doesn’t work.
AFM: Ladies, I have been cleared for liftoff! I start progesterone (incl. injections) tomorrow, transfer will be Monday (11/13). Beta will be 11/27, but I may POAS a day or so before.
@coco305 Yayyy!!! So happy for you. TW Funny thing is my first beta was 266 and the second one was 983 and we only transferred one. Now I’m nervous- we did AH and I know the chances of the embryo splitting are small but always a possibility! What are your next steps? My first US is on Fri. GL to you!! End TW
@rainbows2018 next steps are u/s in 2 weeks. I wish I got another beta again just to see how much the value has increased. GL on Friday! Do you want 2??
Guyssssss, I got a positive today on an HPT!! It's 5 days past my transfer date. Trying not to get too excited because of my history with CPs, but I'm feeling good about this one... keep your fingers crossed for me!!!
I am tempted now too but don’t want to test and get a negative. DH’s birthday is Friday and we are hosting a party Saturday. I don’t want to be feeling down during that time.
@adirat - I thought you’re just a couple of days past transfer as of today?
AFM, I went from feeling optimistic to feeling really not pregnant yesterday. IF I do POAS, it’ll probably be Friday or Saturday morning. Though it could make the 40-mile drive for my beta on Saturday unpleasant. With my *TW* natural BFP I didn’t get a positive HPT till 16DPO - though I wasn’t testing every day. I’d conceded I was out then I decided to test again on the day of my 16th high temp. I’m not liking waiting, but at least there’s still hope at this stage

I hear you guys on being anxious to test and have it ruin a day or weekend. I say enjoy *basking* in PREGNANT (blah blah blah) and forget the rest! Sweet blissful hope and expectancy! We got this ((((hugs))))
@Crystal321 were you having any symptoms that made you want to test? I am 5 days post transfer today and I don’t feel any different. In fact my boobs were more sore earlier this week although I’m sure that was just due to progesterone.
@artemis618 I know the feeling. Trying my best to still be optimistic and hopeful though. GL on Saturday, whatever you decide to do!
@Crystal321 you are officially a POAS-a-holic . I’m sure it is awesome to see the progression though. When is your beta? I’m betting it will be high with a positive so early. I have fingers and toes crossed for you!
@safire3 actually I don't normally poas at all, but I have a history of having CPs a lot, and my nurse tried to sweep the last one under the rug. I don't know if she thought she was doing me a favor or what, but when my hcg wasn't high enough, she just said the test was negative, didn't bother mentioning the hcg was present, but falling.
Anyway, that's why I am being ridiculous this time
Okay I’m weak. I POAS (actually 3 different brands) this morning and got better than squinter but still faint positives. @safire3 I feel nothing (EDIT: I feel nothing symptom-wise - I am grateful and cautiously optimistic that things appear to be going in the right direction) and only @Crystal321’s POAS-aholism prompted me to do it. Typically I don’t like the idea of POAS “early” because honestly, I don’t think I’d even want to know about a chemical pregnancy, but with a transfer it’s not like I wouldn’t know exactly what I lost.
I haven’t yet told DH (last time he didn’t believe me until we saw the heartbeat at 8w2d - First appointment since was natural/first pregnancy) - I think we’ll be more convinced after a second encouraging beta on Monday (first is Saturday). Hopefully this one will decide to stay!
