@Dashaina I'd say that's up to you. The benefits to switching would be other women going through similar points in pregnancy with you and after baby is born, babies going through similar milestones as yours. We'll all be a bit behind you but I'd say do what you're comfortable with.
@sabby2 hmmm good points all of those. I guess I should go check out May board. Because it sounds like it would be better for future stuff like you said. It just feels so weird. Maybe they'll be a nice group of ladies too!
@dashaina I'd go with what you're comfortable with. I'm a May girl technically... just barely, but I am. I felt better coming here cause with my last pregnancy, I didn't like being behind basically everyone on the board lol. I'll even have this baby a wk early around 5/24 atleast, but I'm sure others could go early also so I'm not worried about baby milestones.

@catlady1215 oh! I forgot you were the end of May too! Ok. Well if you are here and probably will be around me then I'm staying. I really don't want to go tbh. I feel like I've gotten to know you all and I really don't want to be so far behind. I feel like we've already "bonded" and all that. Hahahhahaha.
@sabby2 awww. Thanks girl. I really appreciate that message. I am not good at being the new girl in school. I was having flashbacks of being the new girl in mean girls. Lol.
@Dashaina there’s a good chance that there will be many of us that end up delivering in May in spite of being in June. You could do both or stay, your prerogative. For instance, my due date with E was December 19 and I had him November 28th (pre-e). Those having twins will likely be early. So if you have LO late or early some of us will be there with you.
@Dashaina No need to move BMB’s unless you want to. Realistically EDD is just a guess and many of us will end up earlier or later. I’m due towards the end of June and realistically I will go in July given my family history of needing to be induced.
@bitzyg@zamora_spin and @Austenista thanks gals. I have a history of being a week early..and since I've never had an u/s this early for a live pg... I am now wondering if my dds due dates would have changed had I had u/s early on with them as well. Curious!
@Dashaina I agree you should stay! You’re not new to the mom thing anyway, so those first few days/weeks I am sure between your knowledge and the knowledge of all of us STM+’s on here you will be just fine!
Tonight my picky as heck 3 y/o DD has had a yogurt, fish, rice and veggies, a string cheese, two pieces of Halloween candy, a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich, a glass of milk, a glass of water, and now a popsicle.
I am amazed! I usually have to struggle to get her to even eat a few bites of anything for over an hour every night. Can you say growth spurt?
I'd stay too. You are comfortable here @Dashaina Im 99% positive I will give birth in May too. Both my kids were born at 38+5 (and both weighed exactly the same thing), so I'm thinking May 26 will be the day.
Guys, I noticed May 18 is doing some threads related to specific TV shows (The Challenge and Grey's Anatomy), and I watch a lot of TV, so I think that sounds fun. Do we have a lot of TV fans who would be into it? On TTGP we did it for Bachelorette and Game of Thrones, but I'd literally do it for almost any show I watch because I like talking about TV.
If people are into the idea, I thought we could start a thread dedicated to the concept generally, and we can post one show at a time, and if a post gets more than, IDK, 5? 10? love tits then we could start doing threads related to that show? If that makes sense? (So a love tit would mean, yes I watch that show and yes I'd like to talk about it.) Probably weekly for week to week shows, maybe just one thread for shows on Netflix/Amazon/Hulu that drop the whole season at once?
@doxiemoxie212 me too! @Miz_Liz I have knowledge coming out my eyeballs.. Betta watch out! Hahahaha.
@dinodna3 OK phew. I was like seriously I cannot be the only early bird! Now watch for the first time ever I'll be late and all this worry for nothing. Lmao.
@meagster13 yeah I'd miss our chats about patterns and such anyway. And STFU about choco banana bread!! I'm dying now... Guess I'll go make some choco peanut honey yogurt instead. Lmao
Oh and forgot @sabby2 Yay for eating without issues! I LOVED when I had those days when DD1 was little. Thank the lord DD2 was totally opposite and ate everything. It might have put me off of more kids. Lmao. But seriously that's fantastic she ate so much and such variety!! Woo hoo!
Hi Everyone! Excited to be joining you I’ll probably make use of both June and July boards since my due date is so early. I’m a stm and way more nervous this time than before !
@Miz_Liz@PatientlyWaiting10 I keep hearing about the past bump implosion and I reeeally am curious what all went down and what exactly happened?! Is there a thread anywhere that tells the story?
@tammy574 I joined the bump the day before the implosion happened and had no idea WTF was going on. I know a lot of members deleted their content here before moving over to TCF. Plus, the perspective will be different between the people who stayed and people who left. From what I recall, a lot of it had to do with the admins.
So we aren’t telling anyone for quite a while, but last night my DS1 (4) told his little friend “mommy’s secret” and told me so. His little friend looked at me and said “IS THERE REALLY A BABY IN YOUR TUMMY?!” DS1 got a long talk about how it’s a surprise and we don’t tell people mommy’s surprise. Luckily I don’t think any of the adults in the room were paying attention.
This morning our storage pods were delivered for our big move. It was impressive and fascinating watching them maneuver all that machinery so seamlessly. I can't even back into a parking space well. Anyway, as I was watching them, I realized my cereal was hitting me wrong and I almost barfed in the yard. It struct me as mildly amusing that the driver might look over and find me just randomly puking in the yard. I didn't, thank goodness, but haha.
@tamy574 Yeah, I'm not entirely sure what happened either. It was really weird. I was very active during my DD's pregnancy and after our third m/c (and everything seemed perfectly fine then) then came back on after either our 4th or 5th m/c and it was crazy. The secret "treehouse" was a private chat room that some of the members started and I think people got in trouble for that so they got mad with that. But private info was being shared in the "treehouse" and then shared on the board so people were throwing flaming arrows at one another for stuff. I don't know. It was pretty crazy. lol
I think pretty much any threads discussing it were deleted by admins and the members who mentioned it or linked to it or anything were banned. I got a few PMs with the link with additional characters to get around getting caught and the members said don't share the link on any of the boards or anything because there's consequences. I don't like the layout of TCF (the new site a bunch of them started) so I am back on TB.

@Austenista we moved last year for my husbands job and they paid for movers to come pack and ship everything for us. It was magical to see them work. We did a bit of downsizing and cleaning out before they came but day of I didn't lift a finger. They had our three bedroom house packed and loaded in about 5 hours.
I told MH if we ever move again it has be for a job and they have to pay for movers because that was a pretty penny that we would not have been able to afford otherwise.
Have fun with your move! Good thing you didn't lose your cereal!

@patientlywaiting10 did you know TCF is basically gone also now? that imploded back in spring. I was on there during my losses (had no idea of the background with the bump/tcf.. was shown the site from a friend). then came back in the spring to give TTC another shot and it imploded within days. they started another site, but I came here instead. I haven't been over there in months, so I'm not sure if tcf picked up again or not.

@fantasticmrsfox that's actually super cute! DS must be excited!
We had a late thanksgiving (Canadian) gathering this past Sunday and I was sitting in my parents living room with a few relatives and DD (15 mo) suddenly started pointing to my belly and saying "baby, babyyyy" it was super cute and luckily I don't think anyone heard her either.
@marcus7676@sabby2 that's crazy. I originally was on there cause my wedding board (from the knot! from almost 10 years ago lol) were looking for a new private board and one girl set up a board on tcf. once everything went down, we got scared and left. moved back to our last private board.
